Ah, I am a bummed because I wanted to love this place. Based off the reviews and the website I was not expecting to be as let down as I was. Came here around dinner time a few weeks back and ordered a variety of stuff to try. I just moved to the area and was banking on this place being my go to. The service on the phone and in person was actually great. Very friendly! I pulled up and it was a very dated tiny pizza place. Not what I was expecting given how polished the website was and how they heavily advertise that they're gourmet, but no big deal. I ordered a personal boardwalk pie, which was actually very tasty. A cheesesteak with peppers and onion, and a chicken parm dinner. When I went in, I saw a couple trays of pasta that looked good but had been sitting. I figured I'd try anyway. The one pasta was bow tie with broccoli and grilled chicken which was okay. It was a little dry because it had been sitting, but overall flavor was good. The other pasta was a penne in a blush/ricotta type sauce which was eh. Just a bit flavorless for how good it looked. The chicken parm lost me completely. The cutlet was so rubbery I could barely bite through it which was such a bummer because the cutlet itself looked great! Mozz sticks were just typical frozen battered. The cheesesteak didn't do it for me. The peppers weren't cooked down enough but that's my personal opinion. The cheese was lacking and wasn't mixed with the steak at all. Overall it was just a bit flavorless. Didn't seem like the meat was seasoned or cooked with any of the flavor surrounding it. The stars are really for the pizza and service. Maybe would come back for pizza, but will keep exploring the area. read more

We stopped here on a whim and were quite pleasantly surprised. They had an excellent selection of slices and drinks. We are big fans of Joe's Tea products and they had several I had never seen before. The service was fast and friendly and the pizza was very good. We especially enjoyed the white and the Sicilian. Not to second what everyone else says, but the service is always very friendly, I leave with a smile. My go-to is the taco pizza, been obsessed with it ever since I moved here 6 years ago, but the thing that is the best about Bravissimo is their salads. I actually enjoy eating them and I kinda hate salad as a rule, they are luxurious with fresh veggies and good cheese where applicable, high quality ingredients. The bain marie offerings are superb, too, and much healthier than the usual pizza/cheeseteak fare. Their eggplant rolatini is my fiancee's favorite, he gets that and a garlic roll and is in heaven. Never had a bad meal here and after reading these other reviews I think I need a buffalo chicken pie tonight. read more

I ordered food on 2022-04-04 for pick up. I checked the web site and ordered, thought the total would be around $50 . When I arrived, they say it is $70. I asked to see the calculation. They say, web site price is not correct. To raise the price, they put an item they said was not available when I called. Really not necessary, at that point, it was pretty clear, this place is shady. To make it worse, the food, everything I ordered, from pizza to spagetti to fries and wings, all terrible. The next day was our trash collection day and I threw them all out. Buffalo chicken pizza is the best I've ever had, & Bravissimo's crust is the best in the area. Real friendly atmosphere inside & it's clear the owner is passionate about what he does!! The taco pizza & meatball calzone are both menu items that should not be neglected. They're very generous w/ pasta portions (chicken Alfredo is my strap), and you always have to grab a cookie. I love this place because of the neighborly feel! Bravissimo has been in the area for my whole life (23) years! Their food has never disappointed. The guys in there are so nice and always willing to answer any questions. They are fast to take your order and it comes out quickly. If you're a regular, they will have memorized your favorite(s). Everything is great! There are so many choices. I always go here because it's so convenient, I know I can get in and out quickly, the prices are good, the people are nice, and the food is good! Having just moved to the area I was on the search for a great pizza slice. Spatolas is great but a little bit too far of a drive some nights, so I stopped in here. The pizza is your classic pizzeria style pie, and very good. A little more on the greasy side, but they put some parmigiana cheese on their pizza which adds a nice flavor to it. I've also gotten a cheesesteak from here and it was very good. Their fries are okay, nothing special. I also like I can get a small personal size pizza, and the quality is still top notch. read more

Not bad in a pinch. My kids and I stopped in this evening to have a bite. The kids ordered slices, and I got a calzone. We also ordered cheese fries (whiz on side). The fries were nice and crispy, however under seasoned. The cheezewhiz was not actual whiz, but the Sysco knockoff processed "cheese food". No matter, lots of places have it. I was just bummed that I was told whiz by the guy taking our order. The kids enjoyed their pizza. But let's be honest, my kids would eat the worst pizza imaginable off your floor if you let them. That brings me to the calzone. It was decent. It was certainly not a life changing culinary experience, but it was not terribly expensive and it did the job. Serviceable. The staff was super friendly. My one complaint is that all plates and utensils in the restaurant are disposable. That's perfectly OK when you're buying pizza by the slice. But if you've ever tried eating a calzone with plastic utensils on a Styrofoam plate... not so much. Honestly, I would've paid more for my calzone if I could've gotten a proper fork knife and plate to eat from. (if you're listening management, this is the difference between a two and three star review. You should heed my advice here). So to wrap up, this place isn't perfect but if you need to fill up your kids after swimming lessons at UMLY, it does the job. read more

Used to go here all the time years ago for pizza and always loved it. Decided to try their pasta and salad combo last night and was so pleased with how delicious it was!!
