Love this place. Esp the Cheesesteaks. Back when I was a college student, this place was fantastic because it was open late and even delivered. They have solid milkshakes too. I've never had the pizza but looks legit. We ordered hoagies and cheesesteaks here for an all day meeting I hosted a few years ago and the people were awesome. Nailed the food and the delivery guy was great. It's also where I introduced one of my kids to cheesesteaks... so now it's how we rate other cheesesteak places. Kudos to Campus Corner.... since I first dropped my son off at Villanova 3 years ago, I have noticed campus corner but never stopped in. Well, in the Advent of his third year, we repeated the ritual moving him into his apartment for his last semester. I wanted to take him and his girlfriend out to dinner and asked them where to go. The three of us being of varied tastes, we settled on campus corner. They ordered pizzas but I quickly glanced at Yelp and was guided towards the Philly cheesesteaks. This review is not necessarily centered around the food but around the restaurant as a whole. A clean well-lighted place - one might say. But also every employee was polite and customer focused. Sure, food was great. Not the best cheese steak I've ever had and probably not the best looking pizzas I've ever seen either. But a solid contender in each of those categories. My people love their slices of pizza, best consumed in house, fresh, gooey, thin crust triangles of old fashioned goodness. I came and picked up an order of zilly fries and when I opened it I was pretty disappointed and did my best to finish it as I don't like to waste food. I am not sure what it was but the fries might have had been over cooked or left out too long before being trayed up and became stale. I tried to eat it but couldn't and ended up throwing my food away and went to bed hungry lol. I hope this doesn't happen the next time I come in. I used to be a big fan of Campus Corner but stopped picking up lunch there years ago because of some issues I had with the salads. I really would just prefer not to get into it, since it was so long ago. The guy that owns the place (John, I think) was always so nice so I probably should have just talked to him at the time. These days, if I need lunch while we're out on our daily walk, we usually just grab something on campus. Anyway, I do still eat their pizza from time to time - working at Villanova, Campus Corner always makes our pizzas when we have pizza day. Today was one of those days. Their pizza is pretty good - it depends which kind you like. Today I had a piece of BBQ Chicken (my favorite!), Spinach (very good!) and Margharita (sorry - it was just blah). Recent college grad here (Class of 2018). Oh where to start...Campco was always there for me. Whether it was at 2 AM during finals week or 2 PM on a Sunday when I didn't have anything left to eat in my fridge, Campco never faltered in their food, service, and overall care. It was home: you'd walk in at literally any hour, place your order, the amazing fellas there wouldn't judge a hair on you, and within minutes you'd get your amazingly massive pizza or legendary steak. My order was almost always the same: grilled chicken caeser wrap on wheat, 10 extra hot boneless wings with ranch, and a 4 extra orders of celery OR a large pepperoni pizza. We called campco to tell them what happened and they were beyond rude, basically accusing me for lying about the sauce. They told me something along the lines of "we'll send a delivery guy to bring sauce but I'm not sure when and if it'll get there because we're really busy" in a really rude tone. Since when is a business "too busy" to give basic customer service? The driver eventually came and I showed him the box to show that we weren't lying, but he said "I DON'T care. I have other deliveries to do" and drove off immediately. Hands down the rudest customer service I've ever received. Food always takes too long and is extremely expensive considering it's nothing to ride home about. Also, the people working up front and those who answer the phones are extremely rude and have no common curtesy. I understand that they're busy, however they could be a little kinder to their paying customers. Also, idk her name, but the woman who was working the milkshakes station at 9pm on May 4th was exceptionally rude. I went up to ask for change (was only there with a friend who was picking something up) and she never looked up at me and pointed her finger towards the other women behind the counter. She acted as if she was too busy to give me change, even tho she was literally standing there with her thumb up her ass. And, her hair wasn't pulled back enough or in a net like it should be. Unlike the other people up front, she was working with food (even tho she wasn't at that moment) and needs to be more sanitary. read more

I've driven by campus corner thousands of times...it wasn't until i spent a late night at the bryn mawr hospital getting stitches(after catching a cleat in my knee) that i realized what a godsend this place is! i spent some 4 hours in the ER and was starving...on the way out someone came in with a couple hot pizzas...being almost 1 AM thursday night i had NO idea where they conjured these pizzas from...then found out campus corner is open late thurs, fri, and sat night during the school year. I went there immediately after my visit to the ER and have been there almost a hundred times since. I am SO dissappointed with their "summer hours", but obviously its the students that drive this business, not the hungry people leaving the ER. As i've mentioned above the pizza, steaks, and shakes are excellent! hand scooped ice cream, about 20 flavors on hand...big menu with lots of good stuff. They also deliver cigarettes to the local college kids(with a food order i assume). Also, i think they get their bread from the conshohocken bakery...the rolls are fantastic! I've been a patron of this business for over 10 years. The food is always good and the people behind the counter are always friendly. I recently moved into a new house in their delivery area and was ordering from them about once a week... until last week when their delivery driver gave me a hard time and told me he and the other drivers "mourn" for each other when they get my delivery because I live a whole 12 minutes from their shop. I've always tipped them well and really don't think 12 minutes is too far for delivery. Won't be ordering from them again... I don't need a guilt trip with my pizza delivery. read more

Going to Villanova University left a bad taste in my mouth, but Campco did not. Those disco fries saved me, giving me sustenance and hope in an austere place where the Chinese takeout sucked and everything else closed at 10 PM. You were the shining beacon of hope at the end of a long night, the guilty pleasure in the middle of the afternoon. When college left a debt of happiness comparable only to my student loans, the only form of salvation I knew was to gorge myself on the glorious combination of fries and gravy alongside my similarly depressed friends. My point is Campco was damn good in a place where there were few such pleasures. Note that my review may be affected by the general shitty-ness of the surrounding area, which made average look like Michelin Star. Now I have graduated and am back home in NYC, feeling much happier, eating that good food, all while free of student loans and homework. But you know what, sometimes I do miss you, large disco fries.
