Don't mobile order! We've tried twice. The first time they didn't have gluten free crust so only made one of our pizzas but didn't call to tell us. The second time was tonight, the estimate was 22 minutes from when we placed our order. The first of two pizzas was ready at 25 minutes, then they said they forgot the second so we had to wait an additional 15 minutes. I purchased a MOD Pizza for the first time today. I ordered on-line and inadvertently chose the wrong Vancouver WA location (BOTH of the stores in Vancouver WA are on Millplain so I guess this happens....). When I arrive at the Millplain/Chaklov location and they did not have my order what happened next was amazing and wonderful. They were understanding! They took my order and push a rush on it since I was meeting a friend (with the said pizza) for lunch in just 20 minutes. They called the other location and cancelled the order and the payment associated with that order for me! My pizza was ready on time and I paid via my credit card. I thought all the staff there were terrific, the pizza was great and I will DEFINITELY visit this location again. KUDOS for making a bad situation a 5-STAR review. read more

Went here for the first time today, amazing food love that we can design our own pizza, my husband and I love that we didn't have to share a pizza and could each have what we wanted and our girls shared a pizza. I am so happy i found this pizza place. I was at home placing an order for a pizza after a long week of exams at school and wanted to treat myself. I get to this location on Chkalov and go in for my pickup only to find out....i order at a different location. The manager there, Thomas, was so amazing. He told me where the other location, but he also went above and beyond. He said "let me give them a call and confirm they did get your order". He gave them a call, and while we were on hold on the phone Thomas said, "we can always make it for you here if its easier for you". I was elated! Because i live right down the road from the chkalov location and going to the mill plain location would have taken me another 20 minutes. This was my FIRST EVER TIME to MOD in my life and all i can say is that...you guys have a happy and soon to be frequent client. MOD Pizza is the best! I don't eat at any other pizza place. I love how you can choose anything you want on your pizza. My favorite is no sauce but instead the garlic rub with pesto. Chkalov Dr. is my favorite location. The staff is very welcoming and always up beat. I love the way they greet you as you come through the door. And thanks you as you leave. I had the pleasure of meeting the manager Louise and she was great. On many occasions I've been there she walks the floor and greets her customers. I always love talking with her. Well, as much as I hate to love this place, I really do like it. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the fact there is typically a little confusion on pizza "delivery" after cooking (after a few weeks of visits it seems smoother than it used to be) and if you order a beer you'll probably have to wait a minute for someone qualified to pour it (age or license thing, not sure). MOD delivers decent wood fired pizza made your way, with Daiya vegan cheese available upon request (I am not vegan and that stuff is just yummy). I love the fact that you can choose between three reasonably priced pizza sizes, including a "mini" for just under $6 which is perfect for most of us ladies. And don't miss out on $2 Beer Tuesdays at this location! My friend and I have a standing lunch date every Tuesday just because of the $2 beer special. ;) This is the "Subway" of Pizza and well suited for the health conscious as well as the "I don't care I just want tasty, affordable and fast" lunch go-ers. Inviting interior and exterior dining (tables/umbrellas outside for sunny days), tasty drinks and fresh salads as well as pizza. Completely separate from the food, but something I have heard through the grapevine, is that the ownership of this group of MOD pizzas is a bear to work for. Hear it from one person it's no big deal because people always complain about something. Hear it from two and you kinda notice. Hear it from three or more and you start to wonder if you should really be putting your money there... so that's where I am at. But for now: I am a fan! read more

Of all the Mod Pizzas in the Vancouver/Portland area, this one is hands-down our favorite. It helps that it's right around the corner from our apartment, but we make the effort to drive to this one even when we're not nearby but we're craving Mod. In our experience, this location is always clean, well-maintained, and well-staffed for the demand. Ingredients have always been topped off no matter what time of day we visited, and staff is conscientious of food safety...they change gloves frequently and between tasks, which is something I really notice from working in food service myself! Most importantly, I really feel like this particular location has an excellent team. They are always friendly, careful with each order, and seem to work well with one another, even during rushes. I never see people just stand around here...they always seem to be doing SOMETHING, but instead of feeling frenetic it just makes it feel like they take pride in their store. And more than other Mods I've visited, this one reflects such amazing diversity; it seems that the management works to find the best people and doesn't stifle their personalities or personal expressions. It's incredibly refreshing to see employees able to express themselves so freely (within the confines of the job, of course). I wish more places made hiring decisions like this! Great food, great staff, great management...this is one of our favorite places to eat in the area. We're very happy it's so close! read more

The guy by the oven is who helped me out he had a backwards hat, ego, dark hair maybe Spanish dissent? I walked in and he already was annoyed that he had a customer and he was very rude and squashed my pizza and got annoyed when I asked for ranch. He said your pizza got smashed and didn't even attempt to fix it or say sorry. He cut my huge gf pizza in just 4 pieces that barely cut. Wouldn't look me in the eye and acted as if I was disturbing his peace. I gave a dollar tip cause I work in food Service and I know it's rough sometimes.... but I was the only customer besides one other behind me. Plus on top of all this I was supper polite and respectful. The bigger guys was supper nice, so that was for him. Wish I could have had his Service instead. I told him I'dd be back in 5 minutes to pick it up cause I had my dog in the car and almost hesitated to leave in fear he would mess with my food. So when I saw all he did was cut it shitty and smash it and provide more bad service, it was almost expected. But still thought I should right about it as a healthy feed back to customers and the employees because I love mod. But I won't be back at this location for a while... read more

Great concept, wish there was one closer to my neck of the woods. Super tasty lemonade and the pizza was pretty decent. Would have liked just a tad bit more cheese and a touch more toppings. It wasn't like I loaded it up with everything, just wanted a relatively basic chicken bacon white sauce style, but the meat was kind of skimpy. They offer tons of veggies to choose from for a healthier option, Including my favorite whole roasted garlic cloves. Here's the deal: they have salads (which I can't comment on) but if you're doing pizza, you choose a size and a regular or gluten free crust (minor quibble: no whole wheat option). There are some stock combinations they call classics or you can go totally custom. If there's a classic you like but want to make it just right, you can change any of the ingredients to get exactly what you want. Or, just start from scratch and have at it. All the toppings are right there in front of you: sauces, cheeses, meats, veggies. Here's the best part: whatever you choose, THE PRICE STAYS THE SAME! Then you sit down. Maybe enjoy a beer while you wait for them to cook your pizza, which isn't long. While this isn't the best pizza I've ever had, it IS the best mass market chain store pizza I've ever had. What's more, the value proposition is solid and the service is fast and friendly. Wish they had these at the airport. I will definitely be back! read more

Omg!! Best experience ever! I came in during rush hour and I just felt like this huge wave of teamwork vibes hit me as I'm walking in. The MOD staff were so quick and constantly communicating with rest of the staff. They were nice and always smiling. When it was my turn to pay for my food I start having problems with my card. Not know what could be going wrong, I started asking my buddy if they could cover me. As I'm asking (BEST PART RIGHT HERE) I heard this angel-like voice say, "I gotch you covered." 4.5 Stars! Love the MOD pizza concept...whatever you want for one price. The hubs and I can agree on pizza toppings, but here we don't have to! There's a good variety of toppings and sauces without being overwhelming. The thin crust is light and delicious. Online ordering is convenient and our pizzas have been accurate every time. Only once did I have to wait past the promised time. That's ok, I'd rather have it fresh and hot from the oven than sitting on the counter waiting for me to pick up. We haven't "dined in" yet and probably won't (we prefer stuffing our faces in the comfort of our own home) but we will definitely be ordering again soon. read more
