EVERYTIME I've come here... painfully Slow Slow Slow... they always have just 2 line workers who are either in training or don't have any sense of urgency. The line is always 10 people deep and the employees show 0 need to move faster. They need to hire 2 more line workers and one who aren't working at a snail's pace. This place is so poorly run that its unfortunate because we were soooooo thrilled to have a pizza place like this in our neighborhood at long last but won't come anymore.... it's a shame. Someone from corporate should come and observe, even just from the parking lot - they would be shocked at the number of people who walk out. read more

I am not a big pizza lover, so I was doubtful that fast-casual pizza would do it for me, especially after how much I loathed Pieology. I've gotten quite a few things from Mod at this point, and I am never disappointed. It isn't top-tier pizza, but they offer enough options for sauce and toppings that you can play around and find what you like. They have different cheese options, like Gorgonzola and feta in addition to regular mozzarella, and tons of vegetables as well. Four stars for the pizza, easily. The fifth star is for the No Name Cake. These simple little devils are so delicious. Put them in the freezer while you eat your pizza, and thank me after. read more

The menu is really hard to see until your up close, and they accidentally made me the bread sticks instead of the cinnamon sticks so they had to remake that and it look an extra few minutes... oh well, this place is just a copy of pieology right? You can't expect a lot. read more

Revisited. We went back to MOD with a gift card given to me to use. Went on a tuesday night w the wife. Staff was more positive this time around. Greeted loudly right away, was assisted immediatelly and order was taken for both of us and was moved right along. Set up area was clean and we had a good time ordering the items creating and re-creating their pizza menus. At first, I didn't think this thin pizza would fill me up, so I ordered a garlic bread w 2 sauces. Red sauce and pesto in addition to my order. To drink, my wife had a Lagunitas and I chose to try their 3 flavored sweet iced teas. It was good to mix w lemonade to make 3 different flavors or arnold palmers. The pizza came out on time. It was uneventful and it seemed like a nice time w good lively music and a clean environment. I appreciated the second time I visited this Vallejo location. I'll chalk up the last bad visit to an isolated incident. Prices are good. Food is good. Staff was friendly and place was clean and pleasant. read more

I've eaten at a few different MOD Pizza locations and unfortunately, my experience at this location was subpar. At 12 noon on a Monday, they somehow where out of some toppings. There were only 3 people working the front and it was very busy. The lady who put my pizza together looked like she didn't want to be there and was very unenthusiastic. This place has the slowest service. I was there twice in one week. Both days no one in line. Each visit was over 20 minutes.

Have been to several Mod pizza places with good results always but never on opening day. This wasn't any diffetent. Line was around the building before they opened and kept going the whole time I was there. Crew was awesome and kept up the pace getting pizzas out fast. I expected a slow down once it hit the oven but that wasn't the case. Pizza came out great. Will definitely return. read more

This establishment deserves no stars. However, zero stars was not an option. Bad, horrible!!! Poor customer service. Young and rude employees. No manager on duty per employee. The young guy in the blue hat tossed my pizza and toppings around like he was playing a game even handing the shredded cheese to another employee by hand to put on my pizza instead of putting it on the pizza right in front of him. I wish I could have recorded to show. When asked his name, he ignored me. He had on no name tag. Per Ean (guy at register), no knowledge of cooperate number and when asked what was name of manager no one knew the name. Additionally, no one had on name tags. I will no longer eat at this establishment or MODS in the future. I will no longer recommend this restaurant . This was the worst customer service ever. So sad that you can no longer eat out. Awesome thin crust pizza!!! Nice ambience and not too busy or loud for a lunchtime on Sunday. I got a mini mad dog, and it was super yum and affordable. It's been a while since I last reviewed this place, so it's time for an update. Ashley has long since moved on from here, and in the interval since her departure and now there has been more than a little upset and uncertainty in the management of its day to day operations. Throughout it all, the crew has been doing their best to serve all of us customers. We tend to come here on Tuesday nights, and sometimes we still see Miguel holding down the oven, taking turns at baking their delicious pizzas and ringing up hungry patrons. Mackenzie kills it keeping everything going, doing it all, and still with a smile on her face. The food is coming out as scrumptious as ever, and the Tuesday night $2 craft beers top it all off, increasing the value to what is already a winning proposition. I've never had MOD Pizza before but I was pleased by my first visit at this location in Vallejo. I'm more impressed by the customer service rather than the actual food haha. Everyone is so nice and expressive while also handling orders effectively. The manager, De'Andra is awesome and nice and she has great presence as well as leads her team well from when I was ordering. It definitely feels like more than just a pizza place. Which is saying something. Totally recommend if you want something different than just your normal Pizza Hut. Also the pizza is great too. So many of the staff have been friendly and engaging, which makes this store stand out! And the location is beautiful, they did a really good job decorating. One guy that work there thought it was funny that the line was so long. More than half the time there was only one person making pizzas while at least two employees just stood around doing nothing. I tried to order pizzas and salads from mod pizza in Vallejo. I spent close to an hour calling this place so I could pick up about 70$ worth of salads and pizzas, but no one would pick up the phone. See the photos attached. Seeing as we go to this location a lot, we drove there to see if they were closed. They were not closed.
