I went in there on May 8th of 2019 to hang out with my daughter for the hard day that we both were having. We both were overwhelmed by just the amount of things that kept being piled onto our day and we both wanted pizza! This specific group of people made our experience more relaxes and offered so very chill vibes, and it was nice! We have eaten at MOD's a couple of times and not once has MOD's ever had a staff like this one. Michael, Jennifer, Sergio, Katie, Ari, Maddy, and Shea, made the experience of a (PG-13) crappy day, into one that made me feel as if I was hanging out at a friends house. This, this is what most companies are missing and or try to take away from the customer's experience. Don't ever take this away, these people made our day and our week. Professionalism, expertise and excellent service by them made the entire process comfortable and pleasant experience. 5 STARS to all of them. We ordered pizza online (super easy) and got our pizza to go. Everyone in our family was happy with the pizza that we each custom made. The only complaint hat I had was that I've never had a pizza that puts arugula on a pizza BEFORE baking. Arugula is always added on top after the pizza comes out of the oven so that it doesn't result in wet, limp and slimy arugula. We will be back. read more

Just got back from a delightful lunch at MOD Pizza. I've been to this location prior and get the same consistent service, so it's review time! I met a friend for lunch right at noon. I was surprised that this location was not too crowded during peak eating hours. There are a few places to eat in the same center which might explain this. We walked in and were greeted right away. The worker behind the counter asked if I'd been there before and said I had but asked her to explain the concept again. She was very nice about it. I ordered the Calexico Pizza. I was concerned it might be a bit spicy, but the worker said it wasn't too spicy at all. Ok then, let me have it with all the toppings. They included mozzarella, gorgonzola, chicken, jalapenos, hot buffalo sauce and red sauce. The pizza was delicious, but this is not what made my visit delightful. When our order was delivered, the server pointed out that one of my slices got stuck on the pan. He was right because there was indeed a slice missing along with some cheesy goodness. BUT...he said they put another one in the oven for me at no charge and I could have the one with a missing slice. SCORE! Free pizza! What I loved it that he said, "We wouldn't want to serve you a pizza this way." As a customer this is huge. It was great that they saw an issue and fixed it without my asking. Less than 9 bucks and you will have a happy full belly. Try the Dillon James 11 inch pie and then add your favorite toppings... the best part is that they cook in the woodfired flat oven and in less than 7 minutes your pizza is ready ! The also have super salads at the same price that can feed up to 3 people . Fresh brewed iced tea and lemonade make a crisp refreshing accompainment to your meal for 2 bucks. I was really looking forward to enjoying a personal order from this store that I have been a customer of for about 4 years now. Unfortunately, today's visit left a bad taste in my mouth. The store didn't appear to be too busy and the ordering process was smooth. I waited at the cash register patiently until a cashier (?) appeared. He asked me if my order was correct and I verified it. He charged me $32 something. I paid with my card and he walked away. I was thinking, that was a little steep for what I ordered. I called him back and asked for my receipt. He had not offered it when I finished paying, as he just walked away. He came back handed me a receipt and walked away again. I looked at it and the receipt had an order that included a drink and breadsticks when I had only ordered two pizzas. I stood there and said, this is not what I ordered but there really wasn't anyone there to verify my order. Finally, a woman with red hair (I never got her name), came and I told her the problem. She told me that she would have to charge me for my pizzas and that a refund would be given in 48 hours or for me to call the store. So here I am, paying $57 dollars for two pizzas. I told the manager, whom I found out to be this woman, that I thought it was a little fishy. She asked me why I said that. I said that I wasn't offered a receipt but I was over-charged. If I hadn't asked for my receipt, then I would have never known I was overcharged. She told me that most customers don't want their receipt. I wasn't given a choice. I asked her to talk to her employee, who was standing nearby, but she refused to and said my refund would be in 48 hours. I then asked if she was the manager, she said yes, and I asked for the information of her boss. She told me he was out of town. I asked for a business card, she said there was one in front of the cash register and refused to get it for me. There were no business cards. I asked again. She finally went in the back. A few minutes later she came back with a paper with a handwritten email . I was surprised as I would believe that area managers would have a business email and not a gmail. Who would think it's legitimate? So here I am, not expecting to get my refund, with a coupon for a free pizza and a bad taste in my mouth for MOD. Actually, the pizza was good, as I expected, but with today's customer service, I am not sure I want to go back. In the end, I didn't even get a receipt for my two pizzas from the manager (!) after this debacle! I don't know if you have read to end here. I am not a Karen. I am a poor teacher who can't afford $57 dollars for two pizzas. That's why I go to MOD. read more

The food tastes good, and they have a gluten free crust... but I will not be going back to this location ever again. My family and I placed online orders to save time. When I went to go pick it up, I went to the online pickup counter. The guy turning pizzas asked if I had an online order, and I said "yes, three, actually." He turned back around and kept turning pizzas. He did not ask what the names were, what the orders were, nothing. I stood there expecting a follow up question or maybe a statement, like "it's almost ready" but nope, I read I stood and listened to the 4 employees discuss shifts and plans for time off for the next 5 minutes with no further acknowledgement. Mind you this is after the time our order should have been ready as well. Finally I said, "so you asked if we had an order but then you turned around and kept doing your own thing? Our orders were for X, X, and X. Are they ready or no?" Then he said it'll be few more minutes. It would have been nice if he mentioned that when we got there so we could take a seat and wait instead of just standing there like bumps on a log. You would think that was the end of it, but when we got home, found out that my bro-in-law had a chicken caesar salad without chicken on it, and my pizza was also missing an ingredient I had asked for. I ordered online for pick up on a busy day and I was so satisfied to see a pizza box on my desk after a long meeting. My co worker grabbed it for me and I dove right in. I had a paleo pizza as I like to call it. Gluten free pizza crust, lots of veggies, ground beef, pesto, dairy free cheese and i loved it!!! Tried to order and support our school for a fundraiser, after a 15 min phone call to make sure the order would count towards the fundraiser we come to get our order and despite a confirmation email they somehow have no record of our order. I would pick Fired Pie over MOD Pizza. Mod Pizza doesn't have a lot of toppings (or at least the ones I want-- spinach). It comes out really greasy and they cut an 11 inch pizza into only 4 slices so each slice was huge. We got two pizzas with one that had basil in it. If you check out the picture, there is basically NO basil... And small tiny pinch of basil. For what it's all hyped out to be, it wasn't great. Awesome music though! Finally an affordable gourmet type pizza The crust is a thin crispy crust that is topped with a flavorful sauce with any number of toppings and combinations. No deluxe pie here and no "no substitutions" signs. You are encouraged to make your pizza your own. My son had the cheese of course. I had several toppings and have to say, and I worked in the pizza restaurant business for approx 8 years, that this is probably The best pizza I have tried. My pizza, I got the Calexico which is a blend of chicken, Gorgonzola and buffalo sauce. Overall it was pretty good. One issue though is they didn't let the pizza cook all the way through so the crust wasn't cooked all the way through. That would have helped on that other half star. Salads, seriously. They have some awesome salads and the Italian dressing is awesome. I basically took their simple salad and turned it into a Mediterranean salad with ham and salami SCORE! When I got home noticed my Tristan didn't have the pesto sauce on top and my pizza is actually burned I can't have the edges (my fav part of the pizza) all pizzas I got to go are a burned and super hard to bite on. My family loves to come here because we can all get the pizza we like for a decent price. However tonight will be the LAST night we come here. My husband and I shared a buffalo pizza and while he was eating he bit into a hard item, thinking it was bone. He showed it to me and it was a long stick like piece, about 2-3 inches! I like this pizza a lot! It's a great value too. The pesto is fantastic, and whole roasted cloves of garlic are a treat. I feel like I am taking advantage of them by choosing so many toppings, and asking for extra as they assemble it. I have only gone at night when the restaurant was otherwise empty, so speed and service have beem excellent for me. Tip: the default amount of red sauce is not enough. Tip 2: extra crispy is way better. I hope this place stays open, it's a cool concept (though admittedly not the only place that does this new-ish make your own pizza thing) and great execution. I got gluten free crust (add'l cost), and it tasted amazing. My girls loved their pizza as well. We'll definitely return for more. My only issue, is their chairs didn't fit my big behind. last time I had mod pizza was years ago, let's say this will be the last time we frequent here. firstly; the staff is so rude, as if you are inconveniencing them by ordering food here. the scoffs and the huffing and puffing is ridiculous. Secondly the food standards are the worst I have seen in a long time. If you have an open kitchen, at least follow some sort of standards. Everyone is the kitchen is pulling out their cellphones, touching food afterwards, no hand washing, leaning over on their elbows on the surfaces they place food, touching pizzas with their bare hands, super disappointed.
