Always been a quick and tasty place for a good pie. I advise that just because you can have unlimited toppings to not go all out. It won't cook as well and it's so heavy. My uncle picked up 3 pizzas for us for dinner the other night and the veggie one my mom and I shared was very tasty! (The only reason I didn't try the other two is because I don't eat meat). You can easily craft and order your pizzas online, and there is no max quantity of toppings (or extra charge for extra toppings), which I believe is rare in the pizza business! There are tons of options, even "drizzle" options to top off your pizza. There are 3 crust options: gluten-free, normal & thick crust. The normal was perfect for me and a bit crispy which I liked. If I lived in Spokane, I'd probably try the gluten-free option at some point as well. Maybe next time I'm in town. You can add notes to your order if you want anything on the side. I ordered hot sauce and a lemon wedge on the side. There is a character count limit on the notes though which was annoying so I hope they fix that in the future :) read more

Although a long line when we arrived it was cleared quickly. We ordered two build your own pizzas from the many choices of ingredients. We paid, got our drinks, and soon had our name called. It all happens pretty quickly. The pizzas were perfectly sized for a meal (Mod size) and because they had what we wanted they were very good. The crust is a thinner style that is perfect for a fold and eat. Toppings were generously applied. The staff were friendly from start to finish and it appears they do a good job keeping the place clean and tidy. There's more seating here than it appears to have looking from outside. They also have what I call 'the good ice'. It's the small pea sized stuff that's fun to chew on. Nice detail that they got right. Overall a very good experience. read more

Today was a rough day for youngest son. He had to do some school testing, and it brought a lot of anxiety for him. To celebrate getting it all done and him working so hard we went to MOD for a late lunch. As always we were greeted warmly as we entered,l. Then we were helped by a young man named, Alex, who made my son's day by remembering his pizza order (my son has high functioning autism and always orders an extra pepperoni and broccoli pizza). He was delighted that Alex remembered his order, and then to make things even better Alex chatted with my son like they were old friends. But for the amount of pizza you get, the price seemed a little outrageous. Not sure if they recently increased their cost due to covid, but I cant give any more than 4 stars because of that. But the last two times I ordered from them thru DoorDash 1) my order was wrong in some way, and 2) the pizzas were...sparse. Example: I ordered a large pepperoni pizza for my husband and it had about 6 pepperonis on it. One pepperoni per slice, basically. So I had to add pepperoni from the fridge. Small complaint, not a huge deal, but if I'm paying for a topping, maybe it could get stretched to 2 pepperonis per slice, I dunno. The cheese was also very light. MOD Pizza is usually pretty good, both in food quality as well as in-location service. However, when we got our pizza, we couldn't tell how good it was because it was left on the porch and got cold; the delivery driver didn't knock, ring the doorbell, text, or provide any updates. I called MOD's delivery services and spoke with a polite guy who told me that they use either uber eats or doordash to deliver; but didn't offer any recourse other than offering to file a report with the company. It's frustrating to find that after spending over $60 on pizza, it's just left on the porch to get cold. While mistakes are easy to make, the lack of recourse afterwards makes it speaks volumes to what MOD deems to be acceptable, and has cemented my decision to avoid MOD pizza. read more

I don't know that I've ever been this upset with a business that I've posted bad reviews like this. We ordered pizza. When it was 15 minutes overdue and we'd not received anything indicating it was on its way, we called and talked to DoorDash. They were unhelpful and we wanted the order cancelled. They said 3-5 business days for a refund, even though they had our money now. Called Mod Pizza and the pizza had been sitting there for 20 minutes or so. Nothing they said they could do either. Told them the first thing they could do was quit using DoorDash because this was the second time we'd had the same problem. Manager said there was nothing they could do either except make a new pizza and request a new delivery because it was with DoorDash. Then we started getting notices that DoorDash was on their way. Driver did get here with a now very cold pizza. He said the Mod Pizza manager had given it to him telling him the person who ordered it was very angry. I apologized that he had had to come out, but we were refusing delivery because we couldn't know that the pizza hadn't been compromised at Mod Pizza after I had talked to the manager, and it was stone cold. So at least they tried to do something. I have never gotten angry to the point of yelling at someone at a business until tonight. This is bad, bad customer service and no one would take responsibility for it. read more

On the evening of 4-5-18 my wife an I decided to go here to eat. When the employee asked what I wanted to order I said a gluten free crust, so before I could say another word and without changing her gloves she was wearing while handling a flour crust she reaches in and grabs a gluten free crust. I immediately told her that she had just cross contaminated the GF crust and I eat gluten free, that like other MOD pizzas when a GF crust is ordered the protocol had always been to take off contaminated gloves, wash their hands, and then put on clean gloves. Well apparently she found this to be condescending, that I was being negative towards her. When we asked to talk to the manager, he came out immediately accused my wife of having caused this trouble before. We had only been here once before. There us no way MOD PIZZA could make a gluten free pizza, because "EVERYTHING IN THE STORE IS CONTAMINATED WITH THE FLOUR THEY USE" That we made his employee, so upset she was crying in back. When we asked him to have he come join the conversation she showed no sign that she had been crying, an more guilty that they both were caught lying. MOD pizza is great and is a Made On Demand (MOD) pizza cooked in a fire oven. The pizzas are made with whatever toppings you want or do not want. There are menu items, with examples of pizzas to make, but you can have whatever topping you'd like similar to toppings on a Subway sandwich. I believe pizzas only come in one size, and one pizza is perfect for one person, would be a stretch for 2 hungry adults to share one. I always only order just cheese and ends up perfection every time. The pizza is made fresh and fast and rotated by hand in the oven to make it thin, crispy and crunchy, though the cheese will be so melty and gooey. The portion per price is amazing for just cheese, each topping costs more money, like every other place. The inside is nice, a little dark with enough seating. MOD pizza is very similar to Blaze pizza if you need a comparison. read more

Seriously impressed! Recently cut out a lot of things in my diet and I was craving pizza. I had heard that mod was good and that they had a gluten free crust ( I cut out gluten) after work I ordered on line and I showed up 5 minutes earlier than the estimated time and they were calling my name as I walked in the door. Let me tell you about this crust, it's thin and had a little char to it and it was friggin awesome! Like better than most regular crusts, all the toppings were fresh and the roasted garlic FULL ROASTED CLOVES!
