I guess I was shocked this place wasn't busier. I arrived about 7pm to an empty restaurant. My first experience was with Emily the GM on shift. She was all smiles, very friendly and patient while I decided what tasty burger I was going to have. I have always been a Carls Jr. fan because I love their large charbroiled burgers. I was not disappointed, the double burger ordered was the usual fantastic, but the best part was the service. Fast and friendly. I should also note the restaurant was clean and smelled like good food when I came in. Is this one of Spokanes best kept secrets!!! Kudos to the staff and food at N. Division Carls Jr. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great burger at a fair price. read more

Cheeseburger .. fries .. onion rings in one and fried chicken in other .. Onion rings were probably fried in oil which they have been using since the start of 2017 .. and so was the chicken and fries :D .. Even though the food was as expected, for some reason, the food took upwards of 15 minutes at the window, and the girl charged me a full soda price for a large cup of ice water. Not to mention, there was no thank you or sorry for the long wait, which is what I would regularly do when I worked in the food industry and should be expected. I have to sorta of cuckle at the previous reviews. Come on this is a national fast food chain... I think expectations may be a little high...LOL I stop at this location for breakfast and I am not a fan of fast food breakfast so what brings me in is that I can get a burger for breakfast. I have tried the Cali Classic Double and it is good. Because I order lunch food at breakfast time it is always fresh so maybe that does make a difference. Staff has always been very nice no problems there. I use the drive thru so not sure about the inside... I typically do see people dining at 6:30 AM so others must be ok with it as well. So if you want fast food this is just another place to go... not may favorite but not my least favorite. Enjoy. read more

Couldn't/Wouldn't eat it. The Beverage area is dirty. Dry ketchup on the dispensers. It's morning!!! They should've been cleaned the night before. Gross!!!! Don't come here, don't do it. We came in at 9pm on a Saturday night and ordered our usual-- low carb burgers. The low carb burger is basically a plain burger that is wrapped in lettuce instead of in a bun. Pretty darn good, and only 8g net carbs! Hallelujah! Service was friendly and professional, the food was excellent, and the place was very clean (even the bathroom). Though there were a few other people eating there, it was nice and quiet. We will definitely come back when we're in town. read more

So much for using the coupons at the worst place at the wrong time. This is a complete chip off the old back of a normal burger shop. Normally I am very pleased with the food I receive at many Carl's Jr. This was not one of them; it cut short a pre-Christmas celebration for the record. By that I mean, you would love a warm cooked charbroiled burger at the end of a long, windy day. Those prearranged hopes that you once had envisioned will be cut short after your first time venture here period. I had the Double Bacon Angus Burger which destroyed my hopes at that time. The burger patty was small, overcooked to the thickness level of a pebble, and hard to bite into. Quite a few parts of the beef layer had a sour ball taste accompanied with a typical burnt sensation. Pricing, I shudder to think of how much it would cost if I did not apply my coupon here. The avocado spread had an extremely high level of salt, making it incredibly unpleasant tasting. I wonder if they had a private supplier who liked to wash their meat patties in the ocean or the Great Salt Lake. I think people like swimming in salt over eating it any day. That stuff makes you buoyant, probably led to how my stomach was reacting shortly afterwards. Never before had I had such a nasty burger. This baloney could not even make it past the front window if you were to pass it off a frisbee disc. Fries were normal, nothing to praise here. They did not present themselves with that spectacular crunch or the softness of McDonald's delicious fries that leave you lip smacking afterwards. What I got here was some frozen, hardened strips of fried potato with this slivery feeling to it. I think if I took a gallon's full of salt water, that would be more medicinally helpful to me afterwards. Most people are happy enough to get an okay tasting burger in their life, that is fine, this just ruined the fun for everyone. Like many California based expats who love Carl's Jr or American fast franchise present in Asia, I had much higher expectations on my platter. But, was it really that hard to ask for? I may have to return to the old state to find a better Carl's Jr. Staff were nice, friendly, and helpful. Late at night, if I was not hallucinating, I swore some people were not using their gloves as they handled the food items and tupperware. Interior was not very clean, they need to improve that part here. It was just me and a few other people that evening, how busy could they be unless they were goofing off before they got their word done. Out of the all the tables at night, I do not know how mine still had crumbs on the tabletops. I do not want to share other people's leftovers even if it is a "friendly" gesture. That is revolting, end of story. I have seen more organized interiors and have had much better meals in run down restaurants located halfway across the globe. Moving on, I was completely unhappy with the horrible meal mixed with the frigid weather. This place makes the franchise look bad in the face of other competitors. Not stopping here ever again, I want to save myself the winter pain for a place more caring. At this rate, I could get cancer at any time my relatively youthful age. Think of it as a campfire that would not ignite. Yes, you understand it now. So disappointing. Do not be fooled by their central location in the busy university center near Gonzaga University, they are completely obsolete like sports shoes from the previous gaming season. Visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was dead so I figured it would be quick and hot. Trying to get through the drive through was a mess. The hadn't plowed or shoveled it so it was difficult at the least to get through. I ordered jalapeño peppers, double western burger meal with a strawberry milkshake, onion rings and a medium coke. Before I even received my food I watch the girl make my shake adding the whip cream noticing it was runny and wondering if she was really going to hand it to me. Yep sure enough she did it looked like it was left out and got warm. I'm sorry the whip cream is really runny can we fix this please. She snatched it out of my hand and said sure I'll fix it. She brought it back to me and then a couple of minutes later she brought out my food minus the soda still. Then seemed surprised that after checking my order I was still sitting there waiting and trying to get her to open the window. Finally she did and I nicely said I also had ordered a medium coke. Oh let me get that sorry. I live maybe 5 minutes away. By the time I got home the food was ice cold and my large fry was more like a small. The jalapeño poppers were more like bites, and my milkshake tasted nothing like strawberry. The burger was a little better but not very flavorful and the patties were over cooked. All and all I will not be going back to this location and will recommend others not to eat here. read more

The Salsa Bar is poorly re-stocked and really unappetizing... the customer service is "what in the ''ll do you want?"... the napkin holders are all stocked backwards so you can't actually just get one out at a time... the floor is filthy and it appears three of the five crew members are discussing something a lot more interesting than work in the back area. The poor girl on the register is apparently in her first day and doesn't know how to put a discount into the system and just plain spaced out the question of me giving a 1$ donation to the same charity I've donated probably $20 to over the past month. Mr and Mrs Karcher must be rolling over in their graves... this will be my last stop here for the foreseeable future. read more

Driving home from work and my coworker had a craving for Carls Jr. french fries, so we used the drive through and decided to get 2 entrees cause the food looked so good. We rarely get fast food, particularly Carls Jr, not that the food is bad, just doesn't cross our minds. Anyhow, we were looking forward to our meal and the hamburgers did not disappoint, but we waited in the drive-thru for 8 minutes, and the fries (the whole reason we went there in the first place, were far more than 8 minutes old. "If you're gonna make em wait, make it great" ESPECIALLY when one of the entrees, a small number 8 or 7, was $11 after tax!!! Definitely not fast food, but for the quality of the burger, I don't mind the wait, but it would have been nice of the drive thru attendant let us know... we didn't see them from the time we placed the order until we got the order. It got to the point where I considered driving away like they forgot about us and went home lol. It was 10pm and they close at midnight, so I don't understand the long wait/inattentiveness. The fries were really bad for me to make such a piff about it, and the burger was the exact opposite, completely delicious. Easy fixes for them. read more

Being going to this location for long time now and generally good food and service. This is so crazy it's beyond belief. Stopped in around 7:30 at night and no other customers there. Stepped to counter and started to order. The clerk interupted me to tell me that he was still on break and I would have to wait a couple minutes. He wasn't just meaning wait for him to clock in - he expected me to stand there for a couple of actual minutes. The manager walked over and I figured he'd take me order; nope he wanted the clerk to go on his 30 minute break as soon as his short break was over! I AM STANDING RIGHT THERE AND BEING IGNORED BY BOTH as they discuss this. I turned and walked out without either of them saying anything more to me. HOLY CRAP where's the customer service. This location deceptively advertises itself as a Green Burrito location. They have taquitos and taco bowls but do not actually have any of the actual burritos you'd expect from a Green Burrito location. Also, $6.00 is way to much to charge for an average-sized burger. There's no value menu. And one of their menu screens is constantly rotating between different menus, so if you want to browse one, you'll need to wait for the other to change every 5 seconds. Service was so-so, but overall eating here is a ripoff. read more

Asked for a grilled bean burrito with chips . They didn't grill it so I took it back. The young man at the counter was very nice and as soon as he saw it, he said, oh, they didn't grill it.
