Lamb Souvlaki Sandwich ($13.49)
Wendi K.

4.5 Stars Fresh, amazing Mediterranean food that comes in awesome portions. So many selections to choose from for protein, and lots of options for vowls, salads, and wraps. I had a lamb souvlaki sandwich ($13.49) one day, and an Appetizer platter ($12.99, for two) another day. Loved them both. Lamb is tender and flavorful, hummus and tzatziki are great, and the pita is soft. Everything is packaged wonderfully for delivery.

This was our first time at the new location. It's absolutely beautiful inside yet still cozy. We ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich ($11.27) with Greek fries ($3.99). The chicken was tender and nicely marinated. The vegetables were crisp and added nice acid, while the pita was soft and fluffy. We loved the salty edition of feta cheese on the fries and the garlic dipping sauce was delicious. For a sweet treat we got the pistachio baklava ($6.50) which was flaky and delicious. We loved that it was enough to share for two people and wasn't too sweet. As for service, our waitress disappeared and never returned. Our waters were never refilled and we waited forever to get a straw. Eventually another waiter took over and provide good service.

I love Mediterranean and this spot was great. I got baba ghanlush which was so fresh and smokey. The fish salad was delicious and fresh. Very plentiful. I got this via delivery and it was well wrapped. This was hearty with a piece of fresh and fresh veggies as shown in the Pic. I'd order from here again for sure.

Steak and lamb kabobs

Wow ! Stoped in to try somthing new and was blown away staff was fast and professional. We didn't feel rushed at all and they were attentive to when we were ready to order . The hummus and peta plate was by far the best I've had and Peta bread was fresh . On that note we were also offered more bread shortly after we ran out as well refills on are lemonade . The lamb and steak kebab were delicious. Not a singel compliment with Zullee's . I would highly recommend this to any and everyone!

Gyro

I tried this place for the first time today. Nice clean atmosphere. The wait person (Tyla G.) brought me a can of coke sitting on the inside of the glass on top of my ice. I asked for a new glass as whatever was on the bottom of that can was now in my drink. This irritated her very much and she was very icy and unfriendly for the rest of my visit. The hummus was quite good, served with warm peta bread. However the gyro is full of lettuce rather than meat. The meat tasted like the frozen gyro strips that you can buy at Costco. Since Azar's closed i was hoping to find a replacement. This is not it.

Tried Zullee for the first time today and it was DELICIOUS! I was so happy to finally try it and loved it. The interior design is simple, clean and modern. We were immediately greeted and taken to a table. Our server was super friendly and polite and our food came out very quickly. Absolutely recommend the appetizer plate for two, the Greek salad with chicken shawarma, lamb shawarma sandwich and baklava! We found the portions to be quite big so maybe that's been a change since past reviews. We will definitely be back!!

Here over President's Day and stopped in for a quick lunch. It was my favorite meal of our trip to Spokane. The restaurant - in an ordinary strip mall - is peach and modern and charming. The decor's great and I really wish I could have gotten family to get out of the car and to a table. Takeout meal took a little bit longer than time specified. Spicy hummous was spicy! Baba ghannoush was terrific. Gyros and chicken kabab were excellent. Was very happy with the freshness and quality of the delicious takeout lunch we had from Zullee.

Good Gyros. We don't have enough Mediterranean restaurants in Spokane but Zullees would still stand out if there were. Highly recommend.

One thing about Zullee, is that I am easily able to keep within my diet plan, eat heart healthy, and still have a satisfying lunch date.

I actually picked up gift cards for the Eat Good Group at Costco because I wanted to bless a friend with a night out at Baba and honestly, it was such a good choice. I love this restaurant group in general. They also own places like The Eatery and Honey Eatery and Social Club (and a few others I'm probably forgetting), and what I appreciate is that each spot feels totally different while still having that same quality and care behind it. Baba has more of a Mediterranean-inspired vibe, and the food really reflects that. I'll be honest I don't even remember exactly what I ordered (it was one of those super busy weeks), but I do remember how good everything tasted... and I've got pictures to prove it. The atmosphere was great, service was kind, and overall it just had a really unique feel compared to other places. It's definitely its own vibe, in a good way. Even though I'm late on this review, it stuck with me enough to come back and write one which says a lot. I really loved the food and the flavors, and I'd absolutely recommend checking out Baba.

It was about a three minute drive from where I was, and I decided to go in and get a Lamb Shawarma. I am a big fan of shawarmas and I have had many different types from many different middle east countries, so I went in with high standards, especially after reading the reviews. The service was friendly and nothing to complain about. Ambiance wise, this is a place where you go up to the counter and order your food and seat yourself and eat. It is not a sit-down restaurant or a place with waiter service. The Shawarma came out close to $20. It came with fries as well. The fries were not anything out of the ordinary but the shawarma itself was not very seasoned. The meat was cooked fine and there were no red flags, but I think the seasoning was very underwhelming. Maybe I didn't order the right thing, but I think a shawarma is pretty standard. I would probably not return, if given the chance.

We have been at this restaurant several times before and it never disappoints. We ordered the Mixed Grill again and it was amazing. The Chilean Sea Bass was cooked to perfection and the Curry Chicken was out of this world!! The rice, prawns, and green beans complement the dish perfectly. My wife and I had a rare night out for dinner last night and we were in Post Falls. The White House Grill is famous for their garlicky foods (not all) and we like that. We could smell garlic at the entrance. My wife ordered a version of a gyro and Greek salad, which she described as "OK." It was a pita with curried chicken, unlike what she preferred as a gyro (chicken, no curry), but she tried it. I ordered the souvlaki (lamb kabobs), served over a large bed of rice and with "garlicky" green beans. The lamb, by the way was very tough to cut and to chew, more like mutton but not with any fat. Rethinking, I shouldn't have tried lamb at all, simply on ethics (mine). It looked enticing but I couldn't taste any of it. That is because I couldn't smell any of it, even when holding the plate right under my nose. No smell, no taste. That was because our 18-ish server was reeking of perfume, like she bathed in it. I believe there was another servicer of about the same age walking around with the same odor. It reminded me of a church service and elderly ladies. The most difficult part here is that our server was great! She was clear-spoken, sharp, and friendly. I just couldn't breathe when she came to our table (3-4 times). Maybe she doesn't like to smell garlic or want to smell like it, herself, but I can't return. I have two adult children who are both professional servers, so I hope these young women will understand and make adjustments for the customers. She truly is great at her job, otherwise.
