We have been coming here for years and can say it's never disappointed us a single time. The staff is always very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere just feels very homie as soon as you walk in the food is always very warm. Fresh and delicious. Great priced. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Awesome food. The lamb was tender and moist. Beans were not overcooked. Will be coming here again

Foolproof sampler.

Truly, about the best Mediterranean food Ive had outside the region. The sampler platter had all my faves: Huge grape leaves, terrific hummus and memorable falafal. Cary was dynamite, great service with a smile!

Crocs in the rain you are crazy!

Came here with my two buddies and I was wearing my rain jacket because it was raining but for some reason they weren't wearing their rain jackets. I didn't ask them why they weren't wearing them, just judged them for being immature. Highlight from my time - my buddy (the tall one with hair that goes in circles) had the hiccups. That isn't the highlight, just the start to it. Next thing you know he has a really big hiccup followed by a burp. Oh that was funny. I start laughing and he starts laughing and I keep laughing until he keeps hiccuping and then I get scared he will choke on his laugh when he hiccups but laughing is fun especially with my buddies. Would have been EPIC if he hiccuped, burped, and then farted. Gyro was complete fire. So good. I had the chicken lemon soup, honestly next time I will choose the fries.

Awesome calamari!!

Our host was the chef and also the server He actually did a good job. Beside not really talking to us, he wasn't too delayed with the service The food was "Eh" The pita was more of a thin bread... kinda had a chemically taste to them The basmati rice was almost flavorless beside that chemical taste again. Large portions ... but large portions of "eh" food didn't seem like a plus at the end of the day Eggplant curry was ok... Chicken kabob was better than ok.. chicken was a little dry Friends at the table ordered the qorma-sabzi... this was actually the highlight of the meal. Was super flavorful .. was glad the portion was on the larger side We sat in the private booth, where you sit with your legs under the table to give you the middle eastern vibe like your sitting on the floor That was actually pretty cool. Private room in the corner. Our group of 10 had a great time together, because everyone was pretty cool... unfortunately the food was not The vibe was cool, was impressed with the 1 guy running the restaurant, but the food was not up to par. Ive read every single review until now and the majority of the are stellar. I will chalk them up to having a simple pallet that is easily satisfied. Unfortunately I've had the opportunity to travel and have authentic ethnic foods so my standards are very high this ranks at the bottom of all the Mediterranean I've ever eaten. Ambiance and atmosphere was 5 stars Service was 3.7 Food was ... well just say we fed all the left overs to the chickens a couple days later as reality sunk in and we realized we wouldn't be warming up that food again ..

I hardly run into Afghan restaurants, so I was really excited to try this place. We came here for lunch. It wasn't very busy. I saw a few families come in, so this place is great for big groups. I ordered the Manto and my husband ordered the eggplant curry. I've had afghan manto before as an appetizer, but never as an entree. The portions were huge, and each dish were large enough for two people to share. I don't know what kind of sauces are included with these dishes, but they're so delicious. I also like the yogurt sauce that it came with. The dishes were already good by itself, but the yogurt sauce made it a lot better. I'd like to try other things next time, but you can't go wrong with the manto and eggplant curry!

On 10/21/2026 my husband and I were stopping to grab some food to go. We ordered the Chicken curry skewer meal. Gyros with fries and pasta salad. Turkish cigars and the feta in Philo also the soup with potatoes. We ate the fries on the way home that were so yummy but after getting home and looking at the food we got it was unbearable. To start with my gyros was on the dry side and the pasta salad and extra Taziki sauce had a twang to it like it was about to turn. My husband's skewers were dried out and the yummy string beans were as big as fingers and uneatable. The rice had a fishy taste to it. The potatoes in the soup needed maybe another 15-20 minutes to cook. Then the thing that just broke my heart was the Cigars and Feta were burnt, and the feta was dried out in the packet of philo dough and tasted burnt. These are 2 items I order all of the time and have been amazed with them for the whole time you guys have been open. I am glad I didn't order the Bass that is my favorite always. So what happened? Did you get a new cook, recipes changed? If you did get a new cook he needs to go work at McDonald's. This wasn't even a busy afternoon when we were there, it was around 2:00, so someone was having an off day I am sorry but we payed $70 for a meal that wasn't worth $.70. I think we will give Twigs our business and let go of the Whitehouse, it's a shame because we just loved showing this place off to friends that come in from out of town.

There's something about these "yacht club aesthetic" harbor restaurants that always seems a little…read moresoulless and artificial: sometimes it's the menu that doesn't use fresh-caught, local seafood; sometimes it's the cheap pinewood tables and chairs camouflaged by nautical novelties; sometimes the place just sucks, and is propped up by nothing more than tourism, nostalgia, or worse: nostalgic tourists. Dockside avoids most of these maritime miscalculations, but leans into a few of them as well: namely, a lack of an unique identity. There's plenty of excellent looking, sounding, and tasting items on the menu, but none of them give you a clear picture of what story or trajectory the chef is trying to steer you toward, which honestly isn't that big of a deal, if you're just looking for a solid meal. You'll find that here, unquestionably. It's just not likely to be a particularly memorable one. Yes, the salmon dip was good, although there definitely wasn't enough bread, unless you slather it in enough spread to make the crostini underneath it seem like more of a suggestion. Our cocktails were on point, but you can tell that each pour of liquor was exacting and precisely measured, as to prevent any excessive alcohol beyond regulation. And when your bill comes to somewhere northwards of $80 for two drinks, an appetizer and a cup of soup, it's hard to cover that bitter taste in your mouth, no matter how good the stew tastes. It probably sounds like I am being unreasonably harsh on a restaurant that I've still giving three stars to, and perhaps I am; but only because Dockside feels like the sort of place that should be a designated dining destination, and not just a random ritzy resort restaurant that's WAY too hard to locate, if you're on foot using Google Maps, wandering around the perimeter of the building and wondering why you can't find any signage or entrances. Perhaps it was the aloof, disinterested server (and her anxious trainee) that seemed like she had better things to do elsewhere. Hell, maybe it was just me. But it's hard not to shake the feeling that Dockside is a ship adrift without a rudder, without a sextant, desperately searching for a north star to navigate toward, or a port to come home to, and finding nothing but the endless sea stretched out before it in all directions.

The chicken in the bowl was cooked well and had good char, it was mixed in a bit of glaze and rice/slaw/ pineapple. Overall tasty, just kind of needs a bit more components or maybe more seasoned rice. Maybe my expectations were too high. Anyhow, was just ok for me. But, is a nice and appreciate the healthy option. The strawberry lemonaid also a pass. No real flavor and they charge extra but no strawberries in there. Again left me very meh.....

The app for three came with pita bread, falafel, hummus with babaganous, tzatiziki, and dolma. The falafel had a wonderful herby flavor, but was really soft and nearly mushy. The hummus was okay, a nice texture but was just okay. The tzatiziki was herby, a member mentioned it was too sour for her, but another enjoyed it quite a bit. The pita was soft, but just didn't have much flavor and tasted a bit old. I had the gyro sandwich with fries. The food was not hot and the meat lacked charring. The cuts were uneven and the fries were just fries. A member of my party ordered the chicken sharma. The rice was delious! Fluffy and had a wonderful flavor with turmeric and some other spices. Her meat was also cooked nicely, but honestly just lacked flavor. The salads of both the shish kabobs and the chicken Sharma were fresh but had really uneven cuts. The shish kabob meat was beautifully charred however the meat was cool. Also the rice lacked flavor and was only saved by the cliantro lemon vingrette. The drinks were nice. We got cucumber, lemongrass, and hibsus. They were all mild in flavor which paired well with the food. Honestly everything was lacking depth and care.
