Review on July 16 for Pizza Rita at 201 N Pines. I ordered 3 of the 5 pounder pizzas. I'll start this review by saying that I probably would have given 5 stars if there had been more ranch sauce on the pizza I ordered it on. That was my biggest, and one of my only, issues with my order. Total Rating: 7/10 Price: 6/10. A bit on the expensive side, but they always have a deal where you can buy 2 pizzas and get 1 free, or buy 1 pizza and get another pizza 50% off. Despite this, they didn't skimp on the cheese or toppings on my free pizza. This place doesn't rely on constant advertisements like the big chains, but their good quality and consistent deal are what make me want to come back. Flavor: 7/10. Nothing spectacular, but nothing to complain about! Cheese is uniquely creamy, especially right after heating. Toppings are relatively flavorful, at least more so than the big chains. Cheese: 7/10. At least on the 5 pounder (which comes with extra cheese), cheese is abundant! This pizza had plenty to satisfy a cheese lover with a big appetite. Sauce: 4/10. The red sauce is decent, better than some other places, and there was just the right amount on my pizza. However, on the pizza which I ordered ranch, there was hardly any ranch sauce at all! I could barely taste it! That definitely needs to be corrected. When I order ranch on a pizza, I want to actually TASTE the ranch! Toppings: 6/10. Toppings are abundant, and relatively flavorful. I didn't feel like I was missing anything. My only complaint would be about how on the 5 pounder pizza, you only get pre-selected toppings and you aren't allowed to switch one topping for another for the same price. Some of the flavors from the different toppings clash with each other somewhat, but the pizza is still quite tasty nonetheless. Crust: 8/10. The crust can make or break a pizza, and this one DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I'd say I'm a bit of a crust connoisseur, and this crust was better than I'd have ever expected it to be! It's made in a metal pan, and the edges have a lovely blackened crispness without being burnt. The crust doesn't taste low quality or cheap, has some substance, and is strong enough to hold up the heft of extra cheese and the many toppings on the 5 pounder. It also freezes and reheats very well, without just turning to rough charcoal. Satiety Value: 8/10. At least for the bulky 5 pounder pizza, it really lives up to that title by being a very heavy and very satisfying pie. I had plenty of leftovers when I was done, and froze them for the next time I wanted to have pizza. When I took the frozen slices out of the freezer, they reheated very well, and also tasted fantastic straight from the fridge. For people with a huge appetite, this pizza did not disappoint! read more

We have been here 3 times in the last 4 years and the third time was this past weekend. We always do the BOGO half off deal because their pizza is pricey for take out pizza. I ordered a pepperoni with black olives and extra cheese and a pepperoni, jalapeno, extra cheese and there was definitely not extra cheese, I could see the sauce through the cheese that's how little cheese there was. Even after the discount the price still came to almost $60 for 2 pizzas and a couple of sides of ranch so I will be more critical of a place like this vs getting Dominos. The previous times we ordered the pizza has just been mediocre which is why I ordered extra cheese this time because they seem to always have hardly any cheese any time I've ordered here. The delivery driver was right on time and the pizza was hot though. I wanted to switch up the typical "fast food" pizza delivery but I am disappointed that I didn't just stick to the norm for us because my wallet and taste buds would've thanked me lol. These pizzas are way larger than your average delivery pizza so I'll give them that but I still can't justify the price when the pizza has always been mediocre for us. Bummer because I really wanted to like it this go around but I don't think I will be ordering for a fourth time, maybe if they were cheaper or even just made the pizzas worthy of their price. read more

They're a family fave pizza for us, but this order was pretty lacking and I want them to know. Granted, they were really busy when we picked our order up, and I'll attribute that to all dine in restaurants told to close for 4 weeks, so take out places are picking up the slack. Every pizza had issues with consistency. Some slices were missing cheese, toppings and such, and the sauce was mostly pushed towards the end of the crust. There really wasn't much sauce on them at all. I'm hoping this is a one time problem, because we plan to order from them in the future. We purchased a chicken garlic pizza from this Pizza Rita location on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Several pieces of the chicken tasted horrible. When the store opened on Sunday morning, we called the store to let them know it was bad. The employee who answered the phone said she had taken the chicken out the prior day and smelled it and it was her opinion it was not bad. Our concern in reporting this was that it could be a health hazard and we were concerned for other customers safety. We have enjoyed many pizzas from this Pizza Rita over the years and this was the first time we have been dissatisfied. Well first the menu on yelp was inaccurate. The prices were much higher than what menu reflected. Despite that fact I ordered food. I was told that it was under new ownership and the prices were not per the stated menu. I Was told 35 -40 minutes for delivery. It took hour 10 minutes. Pizza and wings were cold. Delivery guy shows up to My hotel with cold food with No napkins and or condiments or utensils. In spite of this new ownership the signage stating since 1989 is also probably a inaccurate statement. You would be better to order from Dominos and or any other one of the pizza chains this place is definitely two thumbs down. I placed an on line order to have a medium pizza delivered to my Spokane Valley motel room and enjoy during Monday night football. (Cowboys and Bears) The base price for the combination was $12.99 plus a delivery fee, tax and tip. I added fresh sliced tomatoes @ $1.and sliced jalapenos @ $1.to the pie for a total price of $20.28. Seems pretty expensive for a medium pizza! The order was delivered hot and on time just 30 fast minutes later and included paper plates, plastic knives and forks plus paper towels. Opening the box I found my dinner loaded with all the tasty ingredients listed except the fresh sliced tomatoes were nowhere to be found! My receipt showed I was charged for them however there were none present anywhere and no explanation for the oversight. I called the store and lead man Max offered to have a driver deliver some sliced tomatoes! I declined his offer as I already ate my meal and asked for an adjustment of the $1 and tax to my bill. That wasn't possible as it was already closed out. Seems someone should verify the pie being delivered is the the same as the pie sold! Due to the rapid management response about my product issue from Pizza Rita, I am impressed! I have raised the star count from 2 to 3 and would like to note I would have awarded 4 stars if the pizza had been delivered as I ordered it with the tomatoes. I suspect additional training to handle refunds and improved order processing will make Pizza Rita a great place to patronize. read more

Pizza, pizza, pizza. If your looking for a pizza to be delivered fast and not be wrong this is a good place to order from. My pizza came within 30 minutes, was hot and exactly what I wanted. I ordered one with extra cheese and I feel like normally I still get screwed when I do that. This place actually added extra cheese!!!!!!! Hell ya! On to the actual taste of the pizza. So as I said earlier, they listen and I did receive my extra cheese. They also didn't leave off any of my other toppings and the portions of toppings were on point. Not to little or to much. I felt like the crust could have had more flavor, so that was a little disappointing to me. The sauce was made perfect though they definitely added the perfect amount of seasonings and the right ones. PRICE! This is where the rating drops for me. I paid 27$ for a large four topping pizza. To me that price was a little extreme. I think 20$ would have been fair considering they delivered, but 27$ before tip! Fml! As for the pizza shop itself idk anything about when it comes to pick up or what the inside looks like cause I ordered delivery. Anyways hope this helps! Have a fat day Soooooo.... super impressed! Pizza Rita has been my favorite Spokane pizza chain since my high school days when I first bought a couple slices at Pig Out In the Park. Their crust is what does it for me with it's chewy, spongy, somewhat oily texture. Flash forward a few years and I went vegan, but I still enjoy their pizza. A Garden Delight with no cheese is what I order. One of the staff I chatted with also happened to be vegan and confirmed that all ingredients of that pie are indeed plant based. I'd take Pizza Rita over the bigger pizza chains, the ingredients at Pizza Rita just taste fresher. Pizza Rita isn't perfect. One time the staff forgot to add the raw tomatoes I ordered. A few times the center of my pizza was doughy. Every problem I've had that I've brought up up with the staff, they've quickly and professionally made it up to me. In the instance of missing tomatoes, a cook ran them out to my car before I had left the parking lot. In the case of doughy crust, the staff phoned me and mailed me $20 in Pizza Rita Bucks after I left a review through their ordering widget. I've had experiences at other pizza joints where my pizza was missing a slice. The staff didn't even tell me, they tried to hide it by separating all the slices! In the past, cooks at Pizza Rita have done similarly, accidentally dropping a slice on the floor when they were cutting the pie. What did Pizza Rita do? They acknowledged it and compensated me with my choice of a new pizza, or free soda. The staff at Pizza Rita are human, they make mistakes, but they put forth a huge effort to make sure I'm happy every time. If they only had great pizza but poor customer service, I'd probably settle for another joint. Pizza Rita has both which is what keeps Pizza Rita at the top of my book. read more
