TBH there isnt really a great pizza place in seattle. Having been to new york and chicago- the pizza does dissapoint here. However CHEESUS this pizza was great for how cheap it was. I've been to blaze pizza and pieology and to be honest MOD tops it all. The crust has great flavor, tons of different toppings, and the price is great. This is a good lunch spot. Pizzas are good, but there are couple of things I have seen here happening frequently: 1. They don't have a carry bag with handle 2. They use the same pizza cuter for meat pizza and veggie/vegan pizza. 3. They mostly burn the pizza and then poke holes in the swelled up pizza bread and remove the burnt pieces. Ideally they should keep on flipping and shifting the pizza so that poking holes and then removing the burnt pierces both are avoided or be less frequent. 4. The above thing happens because the pizza maker gets busy in other stuff and once I have seen him talking on phone or 5. They always have few ingredients missing or out of stock. See the pizza that comes out is delicious and whatever ingredients they have does look fresh, but if they can take care of above few points, I think i can give 5 stars. read more

I visited this restaurant while staying across the street at the Hilton Seattle for a work conference. A colleague and I had planned to eat here the night before, but the line was out the door so we opted to go somewhere else. The next evening I was looking forward to a quiet night in the room, and was unable to order room service so I ended up here. There was a short line as it was past the dinner rush hour (about 7:30pm). I ordered an 11" (basically a large personal pizza) Mad Dog (red sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, mild sausage, and ground beef) and added olives. They had Coke products which made me happy as the hotel only had Pepsi. I will happily drink Diet Pepsi, but I prefer Diet Coke. The staff was very friendly and worked well together. They were getting orders out quickly for patrons dining in the restaurant, patrons like me getting orders to go, and online orders. After receiving my order, I went back to my room to eat. The pizza was very good! Hot, fresh, and so tasty I shamelessly ate the 11" pizza by myself in one sitting! I definitely recommend this location for delicious pizza that is a bit different than your average chain pizza (similar to Blaze Pizza rather than Pizza Hut). Their menu is available online with plenty of crust options, sizes, and toppings. Prices are pretty average, but the food quality is worth it. The inside of the restaurant was clean with low lighting, booths as well as tables, and smelled of amazing pizza baking in a stone pizza oven. read more

MOD is a staple of my family's dining-out trips. The staff here is always friendly and accommodating, which is especially important for us as the kids have dairy allergies. They always change gloves and pull from fresh containers of ingredients so as to prevent cross-contamination with cheese, and they're also kind and engaging with the kids throughout the process. We love that you can put as few or as many ingredients on the made-to-order pizzas, and my staple is a Mad Dog with extras (lots...because a deal makes a freshly-made pie even more delicious!), finished off with their balsamic glaze. If you haven't tried the glaze...YOU MUST. Highly recommend MOD. They're fast, friendly, and a great deal for a family of 4! Parking is a little tough for this location, but that's not their fault. We usually find street parking fairly quickly, though we only go there on evenings/weekends. read more

Super friendly welcoming staff, quick and easy, budget friendly pizza. One of the first times we've not been able to all finish our personal pizzas, although we did get the cheesy garlic bread which is the same size as a pizza. I did also try the chocolate milkshake which was tasty. Great for families with toddlers and babies. It can be hard to find family eateries downtown Seattle with so many upscale restaurants. I was craving pizza so bad in Seattle, but I was told there is no really good pizza here..especially if your a new yorker...ugh. I needed my fix and was shocked the answer was only a block away from my hotel. I saw a few people walking around we these small pizza boxes with MOD on them and knew I had to try this place out. Walking in you immediately see the flow off people lined up ready to order a pizza just they way you want it. I debated between the sizes... mini was a perfect personal sized pizza however I went with a 11 inch ...leftovers for breakfast. I went with a basic pepperoni and cheese with have red onions. The line moved fast as I choose my toppings and payed. I didn't have to wait long for my MOD (made to order) pizza to cook. After it was cooked, I added lots of parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper. Seems like most people take their pizza to go, however they do have tables and chairs here to eat, with a tv on. I ate my pizza back in my hotel room, it was great, exactly what I needed. Crust was crunchy, cheese perfectly melted over everything..next time I would get more pepperoni. A completely pedestrian experience at best. Bland old ingredients for the MOD Chopped Salad. Lettuce had been sitting there all day, nothing refreshed. Customer service was mediocre and mechanical. Even after tipping well at checkout, I asked if I could have a bag for my salad since it was raining outside, and the staff member says it's 9 cents. I said, forget it, and walked out. Very average. I would go here if I had a really good coupon or if friends were going, but otherwise I wouldn't seek it out. The good: -Lots of options. At Mod, you get to choose your crust, sauce, and unlimited toppings, which means you can customize without having to worry about the cost. They also have pre-set pizza ideas if you're not feeling creative. -Reasonable price. I paid under $10 and had enough pizza to last two meals. The bad: -Mediocre pizza. My pizza was fine, but that's it. None of the toppings stood out in my mind as particularly tasty, and it's also hard to taste individual toppings when you get several. -Unintentional toppings. The staff at Mod isn't always careful to keep toppings separate, so I found multiple olive pieces in my pizza that were not supposed to be there. Not good if you despise olives like me. -Confusing ordering system. I understand the idea of ordering while you go, like at Chipotle. However, because I ordered a pre-set pizza, I was told to go straight to the cashier. But then, I ended up having to wait for the other people who were still having their pizzas prepared, even though I was done. It just seems like it wasn't thought out for people who order pre-set pizzas. read more

From the moment I walked in it was clear the staff was tired from their rush hour and was eager to get a head start on cleaning, perhaps so they wouldn't have as much to do later. That said, the customer needs to come before that. The real kicker was that I interacted with all four of the staff at one point or another and none of them were the least bit friendly. Not quite to the point of being outright rude, but disappointing all the same, especially given that this was my first visit to a MOD Pizza. Really put a sour taste in my mouth. My fiancé and I went here for a quick and easy dinner while in Seattle and it certainly met our needs. If we lived somewhere where Mod Pizza existed, we may not go very much as its not the greatest pizza, but it was nice to have so many options and have an idea of what you were getting while traveling. It was also nice to know that you were going to get something fairly quickly, and have fresh clean ingredients. I recommend Mod Pizza as a place for a quick fix when you have the craving for pizza, but don't want to feel overly guilty about it. I also recommend it when you are travelling. What you sacrifice in crust quality, you make for up for with the inordinate amount of toppings you can place there on - for the same price. And the best part is they fixed price for pizza and games and put anything you want on it and you can get as ready as you work or is Daisy and simple. Came in today to get a simple mini cheese pizza. Patiently waiting while the lady behind the counter made other pizzas. I migrated over to the cash register where the cashier looked up at me, so I said "hi there, I'd like to order a mini cheese pizza please" to which The cashier condescendingly responded, "have you ever been to MOD Pizza before?" i told her that I had and she responded, " well, you need to order over there then". To which I responded, " oh, I'm sorry you were just looking at me like you wanted to take my order". I then follow the orders that were given and migrate back over to the order area. This food was amazing, at the time I went they were extremely busy. (line out the door and on the sidewalk type stuff). I ended up waiting with my group for almost 2 hours for our food which is why I don't recommend to go here as a large group. After we got our food it looked and smelled amazing despite the wait and tasted even better! The caspian was my personal favorite! We stood in line and waited for someone to say, "we'll be with you in a moment," and got nothing. "super fast" more like super slow. I have had good experiences with mod pizza in the past but this visit left me having a bad taste in my mouth. First we ordered 4 not 2, 4 ceaser salads and not to mention paid for them and ended up with two. We waited patiently for at least 3 days until I decided to go talk to them when I heard my stomach growl for the 199999999 time in counting. When I asked them for the two salads we were missing they replied with "you will have to reorder them and repay". Even though we paid for them already. Not to mention the cashier was wearing kitty ears and belonged in pet-smart locked up in a cage not mod pizza. Finally after 3 days our salads came out and they weren't even good. I tried to order a salad pizza and the girl gave me sauce on my salad pizza. I went to grab my pizza when it came out of the oven and they told me they couldn't give me the pizza they had already made because the tomato sauce wasn't included in the salad pizza price. My option was to pay $10 more or have them re-make the pizza without sauce. It blows my mind that they threw away an entire pizza just so I didn't get away with getting free sauce.
