Jason ordered the Lava #1 (2 mild strips) and I got the Lava #2 (2 hot chicken sliders). The "hot" was more of a medium kick, while the mild still had great flavor without much heat--so definitely approachable for anyone easing into spice. I also helped myself get some mac & cheese since it was a cold and rainy day, but to be honest I probably would've gotten some mac & cheese anyways. Delicious! Also have to shout out Alex--super patient, helpful with the menu, and honestly just great service all around. He anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask, which you don't see often. Not Truly Military Friendly…read more I was extremely disappointed to learn (after frequenting this location many times before) that this Chick-fil-A location only offers a military discount to current active-duty service members and doesn't extend the same respect to retired veterans who have already completed their service. What makes this even more frustrating is that there are no military bases anywhere near this area, so realistically there are very few--if any--active-duty service members coming through. In other words, it feels like a policy that allows them to say they support the military without actually honoring the people who live in this community and have already served their country. Many businesses proudly support all who have served, including retired military members and veterans who dedicated years--sometimes decades--of their lives to this country. Limiting the discount only to active duty sends the message that once your service is finished, your sacrifice no longer counts. Our veterans carried the weight long before the current generation put on the uniform. A truly military-friendly business recognizes active duty, veterans, and retirees alike. It's disappointing to see a company with such a strong reputation in the community fall short in honoring those who served. Hopefully the "Rockwall" Chick-fil-A's will reconsider this policy and extend appreciation to all military members past and present.

It's pretty nasty to bite into a burger and taste a chemically crafted bouquet of flowers. I managed to remove the outer layer of both buns, and that got rid of the fragrance and made the burger edible. So, my suggestion for Culver's, and any food business, is to get rid of the stinking artificial fragrance. It's nasty, it's toxic, it tastes terrible, and it sticks to everything, especially plastic and anything that plastic touches. The sad part is, most people live their lives surrounded by fragrance, they can't even taste it when it's in and on their food.

That said, there are signs everywhere saying everything is cooked fresh and made to order, and if that is true, the wait is a fair trade for hot, fresh food. Sitting in the drive through was actually a cool experience because you can see into the kitchen through the glass. It was interesting to watch the team work, and the kitchen looked very clean and organized, especially considering how busy they were. I ordered the Animal Style meal since everyone says that is the best way to do it. It was about$11 which feels pretty reasonable these days. I also liked the packaging. The burger came wrapped in paper, and it made it easier to eat in the car without making a mess. As for the food, the burger was above average for a drive through restaurant. It was served hot, and the vegetables tasted fresh. But compared to a genuinely great hamburger, it was just okay. The biggest thing holding it back for me was the patty. It needed more seasoning, and that alone would have taken it a long way. The fries were the weak spot. They were overly salted, almost too salty, and they were not very hot by the time I got them. They ended up feeling like average fast food fries. Overall, if you are craving a hamburger and choosing between typical fast food options, this is worth a stop. I would take it over most chains, though I would still pick Five Guys if I wanted a better burger.

This place is a waste of time. Too many teenagers that don't care about quality or service. The last few orders we've done here have been crap. We ordered online and my wife was there before it was ready. But still, they gave her a cold, hard as a rock pizza. Seriously, stay away for this overrated, hyped up, hipster BS excuse of a pizza place. Dominos or Little Caesar are better and they are poor quality pizza places. They should change their name to NOT Pizza. I called and complained and the Mgr, (Dillon) was nice and agreed to refund me for the pizza. But, it's not enough for me to ever go back and they are literally right around the corner from our house. What's telling is the contrast between the hipster, overhyped MOD service and vibe with the courteous and polite service and vibe of Chik Fila A next door. Night and day. Chik Fila A... stellar! MOD Pizza... complete tattoo, shaggy haired, nose ring crapola. I hope they go out of business and something else moves in there. Wife went to mod on Monday to get a cauliflower crust pizza. Guess what they do not have any. Hmmm. So she went ahead to order a pizza for her favorite husband ME! She ordered the mega crust sausage, pepperoni and mushroom. Guess what? They did not have any sausage. Lets see no cauliflower for a pizza crust. Then no sausage for the other pizza. I wonder why they have this on the menu if they cannot supply this. I rely think they need to order enough an stock what they advertise. I can understand one thing but two! If we went further into there menu what else would not be available? Was very excited for this place to open. Took my two teen sons on a weekday at lunchtime. We ordered a cheese, a margarita pizza and the cheesy garlic bread. Took forever for it to be ready and when it was, it was not worth the wait. The dough on the garlic bread was underdone. The middle was so thin that it was like eating a cracker with barely any garlic or cheese on it. The cheese pizza was a joke. Costco has better pizza and for 10 for a huge one. I paid an insane amount of money for what we got and we couldn't even really eat it. The margarita was okay. Won't be back, but live and learn. Rockwall has other great pizza options, such as Mogio's, so there is no need to return. Disappointing. read more

Y'all!!!! This place was SO awesome!! I went with my family of 4. I got a white pizza with chicken, bacon and artichoke that was super delicious! My kids split a pizza 1/2 cheese and 1/2 bacon and my husband got a meat lovers and we shared a Caesar salad. Plenty of food and it was all super delicious with crispy crusts like I like! We could see the dough maker through the glass while waiting in line and my kids thought that was cool. The guy taking orders and telling the 'spiel' for 1st timers was super outgoing, friendly and knowledgeable yet fast and efficient! The whole staff was great and cleaned tables fast. I waited for months for MOD to open with so much excitement because I'm a huge pizza lover! I went there for their soft opening ams I was hooked and I've gone SEVERAL time since! The staff is ALWAYS friendly and greeting and eager to help! One member always stand out above the rest, Pam! She seriously is there everytime I go and she has the warmest smile and greets you like the family she's been missing all day! I love watching her run around and work because she looks like she's the happiest person in the entire building. This place is really nice. I didn't even know that this place was here until I found the YMCA across the street . Went inside and was greeted by nearly every employee, including the manager. I was told by the girl behind the counter (I can't remember her name but she had blue hair) that it's like "a Subway but for pizza". I was walked through the whole "build your own pizza" process, all the way up to seeing her put my pizza in the oven. The pizza is amazing and I'll definitely be returning! The crust was cooked crispy (like I asked it to be) and tasted soooo good. I recommend the Jasper to anyone and everyone . I found my new favorite restaurant. read more

If you have any problems just talk to management and they will make it right. As you come I you are welcomed. Give the first person your name and if it's here or to go. Pick your crust. Ive been to MOD a couple of times and I have to say this is my favorite place for pizza and salad. I went in earlier for lunch and as usual the staff were very friendly and the service is fast. MOD has a lot of options to choose from and I can even get a salad if I want to eat light. I have been to other MOD locations in the DFW area and this one is by far the best up here. If you have to choose between going here and the ones in McKinney, it is well worth the extra time to drive to Rockwall. The staff here is much friendlier. Amazing pizza and GREAT service on a busy night! We went as a large family and as we waited in line, one of the employees handed us cups and "please get something to drink, whatever you like. It's hot out and we are a little busy" and pointed to their drink station. So that right there was awesome. Made my three year old very happy! Their pizza is delicious, our favorite pizza was a chicken sausage one, that one was eaten quickly. It's really cool inside, bright with vibrant pictures on the walls. I've had MOD pizza twice now and I'm digging the concept. My wife customizes pizzas and brings them home. I'm such a picky eater and I always have to find something wrong with any place I go to but man I devoured that pizza. I went in a few days ago. The service was great! They were very helpful and friendly. After my pizza was done he asked if I wanted anything on top top and I asked for the garlic butter. He accidentally put on too much (because it was clogged and came out all at once). He apologized over and over and offered to make me a new one. I told him I'd try it first. They offer a cauliflower gluten-free crust that is the best gluten-free option that I've had to date. The Pizza is great. A thin crust so you can't pile too much on it. I don't get why people complain. You can get anything you ask for. So if you want more- tell them! I watch my pizza get made so I have every opportunity to MODify it. Great price for custom made gourmet pizzas. They care that I am happy with it. I saw MOD the other day and have been meaning to try it. I stopped in today and am glad I did! This place has very fast service, very friendly staff, and a great price. The first time we went right after the Grand Opening and were disappointed as the dough was raw. They promised us free pizzas for our family the next time. We have been two more times now and they are fantastic! Just ask for "well done or crispy crust". Probably my favorite pizza ever! I always give a new place two extra chances. Sure glad I did here. A family with two kids came in after us and they actually cleaned their own table to be able to sit down including doing their best to wipe down the table. There was lots of wear and tear on the furniture and lots of missing paint from the walls. My daughter's friend used the restroom on our way out and reported that the restroom had no toilet paper. I'd definitely order this again next time with pineapple, because yes, pineapple absolutely belongs on pizza. Shrimp Scampi Pizza: This one really stood out. It was rich, flavorful, and very cheesy. While I would've liked a bit more shrimp and mushrooms, the overall taste and texture were really good. Between the two pizzas, this was my favorite. I tried both the regular ranch and the jalapeño ranch. The regular ranch was good, but the jalapeño ranch had much more flavor and was easily the better choice.

The only problem with this location is the parking situation. There's a movie theater practically next door and finding a space is kinda like The Hunger Games. People are always coming and going, so you have to circle around a few times before you can find a spot. During my most recent visit, I called in my order to pick up and when I got there, the gal at the register was struggling with my credit card. They sadly do not have Apple Pay. I hope this changes. I prefer contactless payments for fraud prevention. I have worked retail and I tried to show her how to properly swipe the card. She kept asking for another card, which I did not have. She turned to a colleague who swiped it correctly on the first attempt and she apologized for the trouble and gave me a free drink. When the weather is nice, they have outdoor seating with a covering canopy. Since moving out of Dallas, this is one of the closest Campisi's locations to where I live now, and having been to 5 of their locations, they are consistent with pizza quality throughout the chain. There was a dark period about 16-18 years ago when someone went full moron and decided to save money by switching to American Cheese. I am not kidding you. The pizza went from epic to inedible. I boycotted them for years until I was told by someone in the know that they had switched back to the original recipe. If you ate at a Campisi's during "the dark ages" when they made this switch, give them another chance. Because they're back to the original quality. I've had a lot of pizza in my life - but no one holds a candle to Campisi's. The crust. The sauce. The crispy crust. So many taste highlights and great texture. No other pizza comes close to them. None. Never soggy - AND by far, the best cold pizza I've ever had in my life. I always order more than I can eat. The rest goes in the fridge and I honestly don't even need to heat it up. It's great straight out of the fridge. They cut the pizza into long rectangles and this makes it much more manageable to eat - but they will cut it any way you prefer if you tell them when you order. Life on planet earth can be rough sometimes - but there's always Campisi's to brighten up the day.
