I must say I have never been disappointed in mod pizza until yesterday. It was a Tuesday so I am not sure if it was a different staff on that day of the week because of a different day of the week-we have never gone on a Tuesday, however I am very disappointed in the slow service, the pizza crust tasting like it was raw. I understand that as a gluten free crust, it can't be cooked for too long but this tasted different. Normally the vibe is exciting, friendly, etc yesterday one would have thought there was a death in the family and the African American guy that worked there kept picking up his pants. Get a belt! Excellent pizza made on demand. The service is usually in typically friendly and very quick. One of my favorite pizza places for lunch.

We really loved the crust on the mega pizza, the pizza however (both) is exactly what you pay for. Not horrible but definitely had better pizza that was more seasoned somewhat. The salad was very good, along with the blackberry lemonade. With it being my first time, the young lady explained how everything worked and was very kind. Inside was pretty standard with what a pizza place would look like, but both trash cans were definitely over filled and pretty gross. Decided to come give this place another try. I keep running into people who rave about it. Our first visit we left hungry and have never been back... But today we discovered that for about $2 more you can get thick crust pizza. That's a game changer! Today's pizza was awesome! DH had enough to eat and I bought half of mine home. Fast reliable delicious individual brick oven pizzas!!!! My daughter's favorite restaurant! And one of mine as well. I love the taste and the quality. Also the pricing structure. First time at the new Raymore location. Went in for lunch to use some coupons before they expire. It's a different experience. They have some basic pizza options which you can order straight or add to them, or you can build your own. They also have salad and cheese stick options. I ordered their buffalo spicy chicken pizza and added spicy chicken, roasted garlic, onions and sweet red peppers to it. I love a thin crust, that's what you get here. For me, the size of the MOD pizza was perfect, as I could only eat 3/4 of it. My son went with a caesar salad and a pepperoni / sausage combo. He's pretty basic. My wife had a build your own with a variety of toppings. We had two people stop by our table to check how things were. It was all great. I look forward to coming back to try more options. When a friend told me there was a pizza shop that's like a chipotle but for pizza I expected the worst. I assumed the food taste like a worse cici's pizza buffet; but I was wrong and I am grateful. The staff is always working extremely hard and they have a great level of diversity. They treat you like a welcome Guest in their home and you can tell many of them are actually happy to be there which is a sign of good business practice and good management. Getting the 11in build your own pizza is a delight. The meat quality is something subway should aspire to and the selection is more varied than your average Chinese buffet. Every pizza you order can be wildly unique and extremely delicious. They have bottled sodas and beer while also having a "no name cake" which if purchased helps donate to a number of good causes. The young, brunette, chubby girl who always seems to get my order, skimps with the ingredients, and if you ask for more, she does the very minimal and treats you like you're a burden. This has happened everytime she's taken my order. My pizza's always are lacking ingredients a few inches from the outside. This staff here also likes to share their liberal beliefs supporting BLM, LGBT colors, etc with buttons and accessories on their garb. Love the pizza here! I can load it up with as many toppings as I want and it cost thw same price! I'm a big fan of pineapple on Pizza I know I know some people don't like it and think it's gross but if you do like it that's an option. They also have the ever unpopular anchovies as an option and my husband loves that they use a totally different glove so as not to taint the taste. I bring it up and show the cashier, who is also the manager, and she says they can't honor it because she doesn't even have a "button" on her register to enter a coupon. You're the manager though...how is this possible. She also checked her watch when I started to order because they were close to closing time. This wasn't what I expected. Staff was really friendly and it was very clean and organized. It was packed with a line out the door to order but it wasn't worth the wait in my opinion. This pizza has super thin crust almost like a tortilla pizza and it didn't have much flavor to it. It was definitely something I could easily make at home but better (and I am no cook). I tried the cinnamon strips and savory strips as well but again it was dry with a thin crust not much to the toppings and burnt along the edges. I guess it comes down to personal preference in how you like your pizza. I'm used to a piece of pizza you can bite in to with lots of flavor, sauce dripping and cheese stringing when I pull the piece away from my mouth. If that's how you like your pizza too just a heads up your gonna be disappointed. read more
