I guess I'm super late to trying this place out, I have heard a ton of good things about there food and I'd have to agree with it. I tried the buffalo chicken wrap and they were spot on for fresh ingredients and hot made to order food. The staff were super friendly at the bar and the $4 happy hour beer was cold and delicious. Happy hour here was pretty good. Pizza was a bit strange, neither thin crust nor the puffy crust (pan pizza style)... Somewhere between the two and not quite to my taste. I have been here multiple times for celebrations, dinners, and happy hour. Think of it as your typical neighborhood bar. The staff is friendly and the orders come out in a fairly decent pace. I am not blown away by the food quality but it works. There have been some busy days where we waited to cash out for a while, but other than that, I have had no other issues. Come here if you're looking for your typical bar and grill. I do enjoy their patio space though. It works out well for live music. read more

Stopped by another spot in Belton for lunch and tried their chicken sandwich, definitely impressed. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned really well without being overpowering. The bun was soft and fresh, and everything just worked together perfectly. I love the OP. We have been going since 2000. The pizzas are amazing, the beer is always cold and the game days are always rocking.

Food is decent but the servers are hit or miss... sometimes rude, sometimes not, but always a relatively clean environment.

We came here based on positive reviews before we went to a Chiefs game at arrowhead in September. The online reviews sure were right. This place is great. We were able to sit in a comfortable booth and watch lots of TVs getting jazzed up to go to the game . I enjoyed a large salad and my friends all had burgers. This new location offered good service, good lunch prices and a tasty meal during my dine-in lunch visit. The taco salad lunch ($8.99) was served just seven minutes after I ordered at the bar. The salad has undergone some shrinkflation since I had it for lunch at another location, but it was still reasonably sized with a generous amount of beef and a tasty, medium salsa. They offer good lunch specials and daily food and drink specials. I noticed a nice bar area, plenty of TVs and background music inside with a partially covered patio and a fire pit outside. The restaurant was very welcoming and clean my problems with the lunch special that they had two slices of pizza with a drink. I ordered two slices of pepperoni pizza. The pizza look good until I cut into it with my knife and fork because the cheese had melted all over the pizza didn't notice that the base crust was raw in the center about a quarter inch thickness between the cheese and the crust was raw dough, also the crust on the perimeter of the pizza had no flavor to it. I've never eaten sheet rock before, but if I ever had, I'd say the crust was made with a mixture of sheet rock because after five minutes the crust got as hard as rock almost taste like apaste. very hard and tasteless. I don't know that I would go back and try anything else there but who knows maybe I'll give them another try later. I was gonna go to the local Minsky's Pizza now I wish I would have.. read more

We just had dinner at The Other Place for the first time & it was not a good experience. We ordered the dip trio & it was fine. The breaded mushrooms & they were good. My husband & I were planning to split the large lasagna, but it came out barely warm & without our salad. I sent it back & we started eating the salad, but realized there was a lot of brown old lettuce that I had to pick out. We requested the manager to come over to let him know about our issues with the kitchen, but he really didn't even seem to care. He literally did not even apologize. He also didn't charge us for the salad, but honestly he shouldn't have anyway for our trouble. We didn't even know that he removed them until the bill came. Everything was fresh and prompt but it was a sad disappointment. The pizza literally tasted like something out of the frozen section and not the good kind. The sandwich had great flavor but the texture was definitely not it for me. Other than that it's a nice atmosphere with friendly employees. I was overall disappointed. It took us 45 minutes to get our food. Which I'm ok with until everyone that came in 20 minutes after us were getting their food before us. Then our food came out and half the order was wrong. The food was ok. Pizza was good, the turkey subs bread was soggy, and the ham club which was supposed to be turkey was cold and it's supposed to be hot sandwich. The ambiance was very loud. The crust wasn't my favorite with it being more of a thicker cracker crust. The only thing keeping this from a 5 star review is the amount of seasoning on the meat. I ordered a salad with chicken and noticed that it was not cooked all the way. At the end, the server told the manager which the manager stated to take 10 percent off. I requested to take off my salad which was not edible. Manager did not come over to the table. If you are in management it is your job to see the customer. The server argue with me and say I ate the salad which I did not. When you put dressing on your salad it flattens. It was the worst experience and we eat there often. Ever again.
