Our waitress, August, has a bright smile and outgoing personality. She is a genuinely nice person. I mention I'm a heavy drinker... of water and she comes back with a second glass so I won't be waiting on her with the busy atmosphere. We never feel neglected despite her having a big table with more than ten people. The Ribeye steaks we order are cooked to perfection and have a good peppery flavor, and the sides are a great compliment. The corn reminds us of Mexican street corn. I am not saying a blast because it's clean, full, and what you'd consider to generally be a good time. I say it was a blast because it was completely random, unexpected, full of character. The regulars who could have easily scoffed at us, gave us hugs on our way out. This is a locals bar, but, we were welcomed as soon as we entered and stayed for hours chatting and enjoying the tropical vibe of the place. They have karaoke nights and a big outdoor area in the back where it seems people gather during nicer weather days. I think there are live music events there, and all in all, I would highly recommend checking it out if you're ever in Belton randomly like we were. We chose a time and place early enough in the day where it was just us! We were comfortable with the restaurant all to ourselves! hehe We tried so many rolls that day, and I couldn't resist trying their seaweed salad & fish eggs!
