This place has an upgraded ambiance for aa "pizza joint", very nice modern yet cozy decor. But the real reason to go is the pizza, which is amazing. Crust is thin, light and airy--one of the best thin crusts I've ever had. There is a long menu with lots of really creative specialty pizzas. I had the Don Corleone, which was delicious. There is a pizza for everyone, and of course you can select your own favorites as well. A decent selection of local drafts are available as well. Service is friendly and timely. Pretty sure this will become our new regular Friday night spot!

Dewey's Was A Really Chill Spot In All The Right Ways. The Pizza Was Great, The Service Was So Sweet And Helpful And The Ambiance Gave More Like An Upscale Vibe But Still Had A Casual Flaire! I Ordered A Chicken, Spinach And Bacon Calzone And It Was So Tasty And Had The Delish Figgy Pig Pizza! Both Pizzas Were Fresh, Great Quality And I Would Def Return To Taste Their Seasonal Flavors!

Service was so fast, great location to have a social end enjoy pizza. Loved how you can see the kitchen prep the food. Thin crust, which I typically prefer thicker, very airy which I loved.

I have driven past this place forever and kept saying one of these days...I ended up sitting at the bar since I was dinning alone. The restaurant itself was is a large area with a bunch of booths as well as tables. It is more of a higher class pizza restaurant, one tv above the bar. I ordered a seasonal beer, there is a large beer, wine menu with a few NA beers. I ordered the Peppercorn Rance side salad which was huge!! I only ate half of it and brought the other half home. I did see someone had ordered the full size salad and it is definitely big enough to feed a few people. I ended up ordering an 11" Blue Ribbon pizza with had a good amount of toppings that all worked well with each other to make a good tasting pizza. I will have to stop back in sometime and check out more of the pizza flavors. They do offer curbside pick up for those that want to get pizza to go.

On entering the restaurant there is a glass enclosed area surrounding the pizza and dough making area. Ovens are nearby where the pizza baking magic happens. A half moon shaped bar is near the entrance that serves wine and draft beer. Servers seem to have a team approach to keeping the restaurant clean and tables bussed. Outdoor seating on the patio I'm sure is great in the summer but too cold for the winter. Pizza choices are unique and made fresh. Salads with your choice of many different home made unique dressing types. Pizza came out baked just right. Desserts are seasonal and homemade. We tried the strawberry cream cheese cake which was Ahhhhmmazing. This yelp elite event was a great way to try a new pizza place I would not have normally tried.

Pizza is so good and it's a great atmosphere. Kids can watch them make pizzas from the window by the counter. Service was kind of slow since it was a bit busy so prepare to be there for a bit.

    17" Bronx Bomber Pizza

We ordered online twice this week. First time, we ordered a 17" half and half pizza. Being able to customize half one way and the other half another way worked well for us. Pizza was delicious. We ate the leftovers cold the next day, and it was still delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we got another pizza a few days later. This time it was a 17" Bronx Bomber. Great taste - onions, peppers and mushrooms all good. Sausage was really good. Their red sauce is delicious, and their crust is some of the best I've had. We ate the leftovers cold again. Ordering online was easy, and pickup was fast. Highly recommend and would definitely get again.

Dewey's is a great pizza. If that's all you read here, that's all you need to know. Now to get more into the nitty gritty: I hadn't heard of Dewey's until a few years ago when I helped a friend of mine move into a new house near this Dewey's location. After the move she treated everyone to the obligatory pizza and beer reward that you get when you help a friend move, and I remember really enjoying this pizza. Fast forward about two years and we found ourselves at a preschool a stone's throw away from this location, and once again Dewey's came back into our lives. Honestly I've never had a bad pizza here. It's always fresh, good crust, and great flavor. I still think some other more local options are my top pick for pizza, but Dewey's brings in tough competition and they are for sure in our regular pizza rotation nowadays. Only reason it's not five stars for me is that they don't offer delivery and honestly, with kids at home, sometimes that's what moves the needle for me on pizza orders. I'll be back though! This one is definitely worth the occasional drive.

    12- Gluten-Free Crust pepperoni pizza

My husband and I decided to try out this pizza restaurant while in the area. We pulled up and thought it was closed at first because no one was there. We walked in and a server told us to sit anywhere. When we first walked in we felt unwelcoming vibe from our server. During our time there, other servers came over to check on us and take plates and bring the bill and they were all pleasant. My husband ordered his own pizza and I ordered a gluten free option. We both did the "create our own" option. He chose meatballs and sausage with red sauce and I had GF crust with light red sauce and just pepperoni. The crust is NY style on the regular pizza. My husband said the meat is good quality answer good portion size but the pizza was lacking in flavor. Unfortunately, the gluten free pizza at this restaurant was terrible. The crust tastes like gluten free and cheap. The pepperoni was fine but the pizza just lacked overall flavor. I've had many gf crusts and this one was one of the worst. The restaurant was clean and spacious with abundant seating and we were thanked for our visit upon leaving.

Delicious pizza and calzones. Not greasy, nice crust, upscale toppings. Salad was much better than expected at a pizza restaurant.

Okay Modern Market, I see you…read more I was on the hunt for a healthy-ish spot for lunch (I mean, hello it is January), when I came upon Modern Market Eatery on Yelp. Upon doing some research I learned it's a scratch kitchen specializing in clean eats, and that it's a chain. A win for the health options, a ding for the chain, but not all chains are bad, an we are living in a time where there are some winners. So, I packed myself up and headed down the road to Prairie Village. It's still fairly new, and it has that squeaky clean feeling to it when you arrive. Inside it's counter service and you seat yourself (they will bring the food to you). It kind of reminded me of how Noodles and Company felt when they first became a thing way back in the early 2000s. I ordered a thai salad that came in at under 400 calories so I was honestly skeptical at how big or flavorful it would really be when it arrived, and holy cow was it good. The chicken was cold, but still held some flavor, the dressing was great, there were fresh veggies, pickled onions. It was one of the best 400 calorie meals I've had in a long time. My dad ordered the salmon curry and he also enjoyed his though I didn't try it so jury's out on my opinion! I left full and happy to have discovered this spot. I'll be back soon!

The fire roasted veggies were not seasoned except for a bit of turmeric but it didn't really have a taste. Overall the food was good and very fresh but the price was a bit high.

When we told her it was our first visit to the restaurant, she took the time to carefully go over the menus with us (regular, happy hour, and drinks), providing her recommendations when we asked. Her guidance was spot-on-target! For drinks, I had a Mindful Chai and my friend had the 3-Beverage Flight (Golden Hour, Heart Says Thanks, and Tres Raices). My chai was the BEST I have ever tasted (and I order chai every chance I get!), and my friend loved her 3 drinks (she said Tres Raices was her favorite). For our food, we split an order of the Not Queso Dip and the Avocado Tostadas. We were both very impressed by how fresh the ingredients were, and the blend of flavors in each dish that created a unique and yummy taste. The Kitchen has an open, airy layout that inspires deep breathing, while the arrangement and spacing of tables still provides for intimacy of conversation and minimal ambient noise. Sofhia checked back with us several times during our meal to ensure we had everything we needed and were thoroughly enjoying our food and drink (we were!). It was a delightful meal, and we thank Sofhia, the kitchen staff, and everyone at Whole Harvest Kitchen for such a lovely time. We'll be back!!

We didn't sample, but next time I'd like to try a flight of their wellness drinks! The LETTUCE CRUNCH WRAPS (soy-glazed jicama & tofu, lentil, pickled veg, walnut, cilantro, sesame dip) were an absolute favorite. Highly recommended! The texture was very well balanced. Silky smooth butter lettuce and a delicious sauce on the side, although it truly didn't even need it. The AVOCADO TOSTADAS (blue corn tostada, guacamole, quinoa, white bean, radish, pickled red onion, super seed) were yummy, but our least favorite of the three. Instead of a thin layer of mashed avocados, I'd honestly just put a few nice slices of avocado for the bulk of it. Taste was lovely! It is a totally cold dish, fyi. The HARVEST WOK BOWL (split pea-fu, beluga lentil, farro, snap pea, greens, brown rice, daikon, cashew, ginger-scallion sauce) was completely phenomenal. I could do without the split pea-fu, but it probably added some great nutrition! The FLAVOR and texture of this dish was so so good. I can't even right now. (As my teenager would say...) Enjoy!!
