Place wasn't super busy for a Saturday night but it was also an hour before closing so I'm sure that helped with crowds. We ordered a BBQ chicken and double pepperoni. The double pepperoni was really good. Nice crispy crust with a little char to give it a bite. Lots of pepperoni and cheese. Definitely did not disappoint. BBQ Chicken pizza was a different story. The chicken was good, and the crust was done just right but they used a red sauce instead of a bbq sauce and it just threw the whole thing off. The only thing bbq was a little sauce on the chicken chunks other than that it was just a chicken pizza. Staff were friendly and kept our drinks full and my son got a gelato and really enjoyed it. I ordered a 1/2 Sonoma today and they use premium goat cheese in my opinion.... It's President Goat cheese which unfortunately, you cannot buy in stores in the Midwest. I've been to Spin! Pizza a couple times now. I've had great experiences overall. The restaurant is pretty large and has ample seating. I've noticed it gets very busy on peak times. The service is excellent. The staff and management roam throughout the dining area and ensure that all customers are taken care of. I've only ordered the Detroit style pizza so far. I love Detroit style pizza. Spin! Is not the absolute best I've had, but it is very solid and hits the spot! I look forward to returning and branching out to other menu items. read more

I really enjoyed their pizza and salad, what I ordered was a Supreme Mini Mia Detroit Style substituted the italian sausage and pepperoni with chicken and jalapeno then Sonoma salad. Both items were delicious! The crust was crispy which I forgot to ask them to do but it came that why so I am super happy. The employees were extremely helpful and willing to cater to customers. The service was great, you order and pay at the counter then get a number and your receipt to take to the table. They have some beer and soda options, and the gelato case is located conveniently next to the register. There's a small side patio that looks to be dog friendly, and plenty of seating inside. Service at the table was much quicker than I expected for the Detroit style pizza. The salads were fresh, well made and not over dressed. The pizza was CHEESY (I took double the lactaid). I know I hit a delicious spot when I dream about food from that place, even after I have it again. Their Very Berry Salad is so delicious. The pizza is good too, but that salad has my heart. I ordered a salad to go and it was so convenient to be able to walk in, grab my order and go. The honey mustard dressing, onions, spinach leaves, and the fruit make for a pairing I never would have put together on my own, but it works so well. When I sat down they requested we move tables to a reserved one for more than 5 people. The thing is, those tables can only accommodate 5 people and my group was more than that. Last night (11/13/25) at the Overland Park location I ordered tomato basil soup and a half 3 cheese panini. The soup was very good. However , the panini was not worth eating. I look at it and didn't see cheese. I opened it to see if they forget to put cheese on it. The layer of cheese was paper thin. I don't know how they got "3" cheeses on a "3 cheese panini " when there was veracity no cheese. When the server came by and saw I didn't eat the panini she asked if it was ok. I told her no and why. She said that she has heard that before. If that is a common complaint I don't understand why they don't try to either improve it or take it off the menu. Spin used to be my go to spot for pizza when I lived in K.C. so now whenever I'm in town visiting, I make an effort to go. There only used to be one but now they have about ten locations in the MO and KS area. I went with my kids to the Corbin Park location in December for dinner around 6pm and they were busy. You basically come in, order and pay at the register and you're given a number so you can seat yourself where you want. The line to the register was long but it moved fairly steady. We ordered the chicken cobb salad, pesto chicken and 3 meat pizzas. It was hard to find an empty clean table but we wiped one off. The food came quickly and was so amazing. They never seem to disappoint. But I am so sad to see that the tri-hummus they used to have on the appetizers menu is gone.....it was so good. I gave them 4 stars since the restaurant wasn't clean. This place is amazing! I love the mixture of healthy items and pizza. There were so many things that looked good I didn't know what to choose. I love the Mini Mia so you can try a small version of two items. They had a nice beer and wine selection, I would like to try the blood orange sangria next time. You go in and place your order with the cashier, then they give you a number and you pick your table. There is still a server that comes by to bring you water and utensils which is very nice. I really enjoyed the food from SPIN Pizza. I ordered through Uber Eats. In retrospect, that was kind of stupid as it was like 3° and the driver had a stop along the way, so by the time I got it, it was cold. Having said that, I honestly think this was the best pizza I've had in KC so far. I ordered a small pizza with zesty red sauce, bacon, and prosciutto as well as the rosemary flatbread with red pepper and goat cheese spread. The pizza and flatbread were to die for.... even heated up! And the next two days heated up, I might add. The first night, I heated up the pizza in the microwave for about 20 secs because they were advising against using any major appliances due to rolling blackouts due to the cold. The next two times I heated it in the oven. Either way, it was DELICIOUS!!! I will try the white bean hummus with the flatbread next time as the red pepper goat cheese didn't wow me. But the flatbread honestly doesn't even need any spread, it's that good all on its own. I will definitely be ordering this again when I'm in town. I give this place four stars because the product is pretty good. The ingredients feel fresh. However, the pizza just isn't my jam. The dough is often chewy, as is the crust. Not a lot of cheese, which is fine, but the ratio of sauce and cheese to the crust seems off. The salads however are delicious. And they offer gluten free and dairy free cheese for the pizzas which is nice. Good spot, but there is better around.
