So disappointed in our food tonight. Pizza crust was so thin. It was rubbery and hard to cut with a steak knife very greasy won't go back.

I cannot believe I've never reviewed this place. It's probably one of my most recent go to spot! I'm on a special diet where I cannot have certain foods or certain ingredients in SPIN! Pizza. I have so many different options! My favorite lately is the Greek salad and I get extra Kalamata olives, add red onion, extra tomatoes I get a couple of slices of lemon to add to their vinaigrette and it is delicious. Sometimes I get chicken and sometimes I get there meatballs à la carte. If you like meatballs, you have got to try these. They're drenched with their marinara sauce very tasty. The ingredients are amazing fresh basil on top absolutely to die for. The service is great, and the people are actually friendly. It's sort of reminds me when we lived in Europe the tables are kind of close together. You can sit at the bar but it's easy to strike up a conversation and be friendly with someone which is really nice and I think we all need that these days! My other favorite is their cauliflower crust, pizza with Italian sausage, red onion, and red roasted bell pepper!! read more

Great food and drinks. Friendly service. The many times we have been here now, I'm assuming the manager, always has dog fur covered on her shirt. Pretty gross especially seeing this is a food establishment and I worry what is getting on to the food. read more

Got sick the next day from a Caesar salad that I ordered. It tasted well. But did not do well.

Messed up my order twice in a row. They sent a "pepperoni" pizza with no pepperoni and barely any cheese. More of a sauce and crust pizza. The second time they sent someone else's order. Don't expect to get the food you ordered. read more

Well, well, well, what'd you know trying a different fast food location produced different results. The first time I'd been to SPIN!, it was slightly less then ok, so I was very hesitant to try it again, but I found myself here with no fault of my own, but open minded and determined to have a good time. One of my gripes from the first iteration of this joint was the layout and this place doesn't have that problem. With a decent flow, I easily checked out the menu and placed my order. Finding a seat was easy and the various staff members I interacted with were all nice and helpful. Finally, the food. I ordered a Tre Carni (yeth ith tree meats) i.e. meatballs, pepperoni and Italian sausage with red sauce. Perfectly cooked and delicious, this is a solid choice! My main man got the Pesto e Pollo which was also cooked to a crispy, crunchy golden brown with a garlic and olive oil "sauce". The sauce or glaze, as they call it, was excellent. Next time I go here - and yes, there will be a next time - I'm getting the tre carni with the white sauce. See you there! read more

Lots of interesting pizza options here! I had a proscuittio with fig and spinach that was really good as well as a side caesar salad. Both were delicious, and the salad portion was really good. The dressing was perfect, and lots of croutons (which I appreciate). I'm thankful that the friend I dined with told me about the pizza mini and salad combo - it's tucked away on the menu and I definitely wouldn't have noticed it! I spent maybe $12 for my dinner (including a drink) after taxes, so not a bad deal! It was a perfect amount of food. Haven't been to Spin in a while, and thought we'd check it out on a recent Saturday night. It was pretty packed, but service was quick and efficient. I enjoyed my pizza. I got the tre carni, and ended up taking about half of it home to have later. There were a lot of families with kids there during our recent visit, so it might not be the best spot if you are looking to drink some wine, have some pizza, and enjoy a quiet date night. It didn't bother me at all until the parents of some toddlers next to us sipped their wine and enjoyed their pizza while their toddlers literally jumped up and down on the bench seating. read more

While the pizza was as good as always, my issue (and rationale) for the low score is the pricing of the beer versus what is posted. The prices written on the board are NOT what is charged and when I asked the manager on duty about it he did not offer to make up the difference. The prices written on the board and menu are what should be charged - or at least put an asterisk or something indicating that prices will be different than what is posted. A reply indicated that the manager took care of the difference BUT THE MANAGER DID NOTHING. read more

As I get older, I miss the old-fashioned pizza parlors of the past - I remember fondly "Shakey's" from my childhood. SPIN seems to be a family-friendly place pizza parlor for a new generation. On my recent visit at dinner, I saw many many families enjoying their dinner out with kids of all ages - nice to see. Pizzas are very tasty - I sampled Margherita, Primevera, and Tre Carni. Of the three crusts offered (regular, whole wheat, and gluten free), I thought the gluten free crust was the tastiest. Crusts are on the thin side - I thought they could use a bit more time in the oven - not as crispy as I would have liked. Salads are also very good. Try the Greek and the Sonoma - both are served tossed with dressing. For the Sonoma, I suggest getting the dressing on the side, although delicious, it came too drenched in dressing for my taste. "Mini Mia" is a pizza/salad combination option that is a great deal if you are dining alone or do not want to have a family style meal. I am taking a star away for the over-the-top service! As others have already commented, service is fast and attentive - well, overly attentive for us. We were constantly interrupted and our plates were cleared before we finished our "last bites." read more

Love this place! Very fun atmosphere with friendly staff who checked on us a good amount. I like the Mini Mia Deal. It's a 6 inch signature pizza(or create your own with 2 toppings) and your choice of soup or salad. This time I got the Spin!Margherita pizza with the 8 Color salad. Delicious and filling!!! And the salad was very fresh! Not a bad price. Also got the Chocolate Almond gelato, very rich and creamy! I believe it's made in house. There is something amazing about a simple margherita pizza on the tongue. Woodfired Pizza is a completely different meal than the quick in and out American stuff. For being a quick place to stop, Spin produces a good pizza that isn't dripping with grease. The combo option is a great deal with a salad and pizza. The Greek salad is delicious and I always regret trying something else. (Not that the others are bad, but that the Greek is so full of flavor!). There is also the gelato that deserves a special mention. Strategic planning of ordering the combo leaves just the right space in the belly for some delicious gelato. This place is both kid and group friendly. The location is great too since it's just a block away from all the shopping at 119th and Strang Line. read more

I really feel like the food has gone downhill here lately. They removed the goat cheese and arugula pizza from the menu several months ago - it was such a good pizza and a great vegetarian option. Then then recently removed arugula altogether. I've been coming here for years but lately everything seems odd. Don't know if they got new cooks or new management, but this will no longer be our regular Friday night spot. Food seems rushed and sloppy despite taking longer than usual to come out. Came in on a Sunday afternoon- my son was excited to watch football. And they had women's soccer on all three TVs. You'd think two of them would have Sunday football on. Just a small example of how the lack of attention and detail seems to be showing lately. Such a shame. read more

Our salad was top notch, do they grow their own vegetables? So fresh!! And the pizza, MOLTO BENE, from a brick oven, simply outstanding!! I'm visiting from NYC and stopped for a quick lunch. I wasn't expecting much but I was curious about Kansas pizza. I was pleasantly surprised. Well, it wasn't New York pizza (it's said that the New York water makes the dough perfect) but it was absolutely delicious. I had a veggie pizza and salad combo. Too bad, we like Spin but this location is terrible, cold soup, lack of attention by servers, sat for 20 minutes no water even, forgot order, had to go ask for it. Six tables got their pizza that came after us and all we had was soup and salad. We have come three different times and each time there was an issue. Never coming back to this one!
