This is a counter service fast food ish restaurant conveniently located on 135th with an interesting menu of wraps, tacos, burritos, and burgers. They have some fun and unique options for flavors that you don't see at other fast food places. You order at the counter in the back left corner, and they take your name. They call out your name at the counter when your food is ready. Don't forget to grab some salsa containers from the bar next to the soda fountain. The medium chipotle salsa is really good. All the tacos are inside a hard shell and then wrapped in a soft tortilla with cheese in between, so you end up with some crispy cheese fringe around the edge of your taco. And the tacos are huge!! 3 is plenty for a meal. The mahi mahi tacos are delish because of the sweet salsa on top. Definitely need a spicy salsa for balance though. The shrimp tacos were also good and fresh (made with the tiny baby shrimps which gets a little messy). The restaurant is clean-ish. It seemed like all the tables were a little sticky. The potato salad was only OK. Take-put service was very fast. The one thing that irritated me, was like many restaurants that offer take-put they request a tip starting at 15%. Went for a late lunch (around 3pm) with my wife. The place was completely empty, but it was filthy. Virtually every table was dirty and even some parts of the floor was gross with spills and crumbs. The one employee we saw was on the phone talking to someone and eventually hung up once we got to the register, but he seemed really annoyed that we came. Not friendly at all. We found the cleanest table we could possibly find and sat down. Even the fountain drink and plasticware area was filthy. Once the food came out, I picked it up from the counter, sat down and saw a piece of hair from the employee in my taco. At this point, I didn't see what this employee would even do besides be irritated at us, so I didn't even bother telling him. We will never go here again. read more

My brother and I care here to grab some lunch after his last finals today. It is located at the very end of a strip, across from the hotel. It was a little confusing to get to, but the place was very open inside with plenty seats and tables. My brother ordered the Mahi Mahi Tacos and I ordered the Baja Shrimp Tacos. The wait was ~15-20 minutes for our taco order. Since the order came with 3 tacos, we traded one with each other to try. The Mahi tacos were sweet tasting, whereas the Baja Shrimp tacos were savory! There was more pico than actual fish in the tacos, but the shrimp ones had plenty. The only thing that was frustrating was that they didn't have any sauce containers!! They had the whole gallon of sauce that you had to attempt to carefully pour out. When I tried to, it spilled everywhere and I had to get an employee to help. It would be better to have a pump and little plastic containers to put the sauce in. Overall, I'm not sure I would stop in here again anytime soon due to the drive, but I did think the tacos were tasty! Please fix the sauce situation! read more

Stopped in last minute and ordered wraps for the family. Their menu selection was great and the wraps were a hit amongst the kiddos and adults. I would recommend to friends for a deli/wrap style foods. We didn't eat in because there weren't any tables cleared off and at the time the restaurant was not that full. Wow, this place is just delicious. The shrimp tacos and kung pao chicken wrap are both excellent. The steak taco is great too. The only problem is that there are too many things that are delicious so it means I eat the same thing each time. I wish they had a sampler plate - 1 shrimp taco, 1 steak taco, and a smaller version of the Kung pao wrap so I could have them all at one meal and to explore the menu more, but they have food you just crave. We stopped in here after soccer practice and it was a great choice ! It was quick, the staff was friendly, and the healthy fresh options are a bonus ! This place is great and the options are endless on what you can get. I Opted for the chicken Cobb wrap which was good but I'm kicking myself for not trying out something more unique so I'll use that as my reason to go back just to do that. All of the sandwiches and wraps come with a side option which was nice because most health places don't give you that choice. I opted for the chips. My sons turkey wrap was perfect and exactly what he needed with how active he is this time of year. We left with a few leftovers and full bellies. Updated review: I got carryout from Twisted Fresh today, and it wasn't the usual experience. We ordered the Cajun chicken tacos and a burger. The burger was ordered medium, but came out very well done and very dry. It was crunchy and charred on the exterior. It was borderline inedible. I ordered some of the sriracha aioli for the tacos, and it got all over the inside of the bag and all over the food containers. The tacos were still good, just not a lot of care given to the burger or packing of the order. I'm not dropping their rating much (5 to 4 stars), but this would have been a horrible first impression. One of our favorites!!! Baja shrimp tacos is a must try and I prefer the tacos over the burrito. We have had 75% of the items on the menu and all of them have tasted great. The restaurant is typically kept nice and clean, during busy hours it can look a little messy but they do their best. All of the staff are friendly and helpful when needed. Did a pick up order fresh food and turned our meals into salads. Super easy online ordering and the food was ready in less than 20 minutes.

The quality of food was average but the service and respect for clients was FAR BELOW standard expectations. I ordered food for two adults and two kids to go. They brought my order to the counter and after checking the order I noticed that they made one adult meal and one kid meal incorrectly. I brought it to their attention and they corrected the mistake. When I got home I unloaded the meals and the adult meal was still wrong. I checked the receipt to confirmed the mistake. I then called the store and spoke to the manager about the situation. She was far from apologetic. She told me that it was my fault for not checking the order before leaving the restaurant. I explained that I did check it the first time. The second time I assumed it would have been fixed. Mistakes happen. I was a customer trying to order food and the manager should not have blamed me for them making a mistake not once but twice. I did not receive what I paid for but I wasn't looking to get anything out of the phone call. I just wanted to explain the situation and the manager did nothing but tell me it was my fault for not checking the order. Twisted Fresh has some of the most unique combinations of ingredients I have probably ever seen (or tasted). This is the first thing I say because this is the first thing I noticed. This definitely isn't your classic turkey with cheese sort of wrap. They have these, for those people out there that stick to the basics, but for all those people who venture out of their comfort zone every once and a while, this is the place for you. Bourbon brown sugar BBQ sauce with bacon and chicken, or pineapple salsa with Jamaican jerk sauce and ginger. These combinations might sound weird and even gross, but I assure you they taste better than you can imagine. I've gotten some of these wraps, a couple being the Kung Pao Chicken Wrap and the BBQ Chicken Wrap. The BBQ Chicken Wrap was what I thought it would be, BBQ sauce with bacon, chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheddar cheese. It had a little too much sauce on it for me, but then again, I'm the type of person to pass on sauces, so it might just be my picky self. The Kung Pao Chicken Wrap had a lot more flavor and was advertised as being pretty spicy, but either my tolerance is high, which it certainly isn't, or it wasn't that spicy in reality. I'm also the type of person who still likes non-spicy food, so even without the promised spiciness, it still tasted incredible. I usually don't like nuts in my food, but this wrap had cashews and I still liked it, so I was very happy about that. I really hope to come back and try the other flavor roller coasters. read more

The key word is bold flavors. Order either the Mahi Mahi tacos, or Shrimp tacos, and Thank me later. Yes they are that good! Large and really complex fresh ingredients (see pic) If you are a couple and you can agree, you can add an additional taco to the order for under $2. This is definitely the way to go. They have a lot of fresh takes on classic foods such as burgers tacos and wraps. I personally love the Maui Maui tacos, the honey siracha aioli is addictive.
