Went through the drive thru which was very slow. My food bag was warm, suggesting it was freshly made. My Tilapia Tango was hot and crispy but smelled very fishy, and my street corn had barely any corn. It was just a bowl of goop. read more

Unforked was nice enough to send me a BOGO on burgers offer. This was my first visit but I've had my eye on them for months. The restaurant is really nice. Modern and clean. They had someone constantly wiping down tables. A good bit of parking in the lot and they have a drive thru window. I think the prices are really good. All the burgers are reasonably priced. Most under $10. I think one is more but it's a double. We got the Pure Burger with added cheese and the KC Hot Bird Chicken Sandwich. Both were great. I ate the chicken and it was a large piece of fried chicken breast topped with the sauce and an apple slaw. Yum! You can get it mild, medium, or hot. I decided to get mild just to check the heat level and I will definitely go for medium or maybe even hot next time. Mild has zero heat to me. It was still very good. $9. The basket of 24 Hour fries ($5.60) are enough for two people to share and also really good! My partner really liked his burger. I also appreciate they offer you a glass to get water from the drink bar. The water is flavored with citrus including limes and oranges!! We will definitely be back here! The food is great. I remember when this location was in the process of being built in my area and I was incredibly thankful since I've been to the other location that was further out. The staff here is nice and welcoming which I appreciate it. The service is relatively quick and the food always comes out fresh. Usually when I come here, I will order the Fried Egg BLT. I've ordered a couple of their sandwiches before, but I'd place this one at the top. I will also add the pure burger which is $4.2 extra, but I'd say it's well worth it as it compliments the sandwich very well. You can't forget to add the 24 hour fries to your order as well. Very crispy, tasty, and has the right amount of salt added. I highly recommend coming here. During my most recent experience, I had Madison as the person who assisted me at the drive through. Ordered up at the front before grabbing a comfortable booth. Food came out fast, and the gal taking my order was so sweet. They have a lot of great options, so it was hard to choose. I ended up ordering the Cali taco and Not So Sweet Potato Wedges. Taco was a decent size, but the tilapia was a bit bland. Each table had salt and pepper, so adding just a bit of salt made it perfect. I wasn't expecting the sweet potato wedges to be so large! Honestly, I was not super impressed with Unforked, despite hearing great things about it! Don't get me wrong, the service was great, the menu was intriguing, but overall the food is mid at best. For our first time in, my partner and I went through the drive-thru, which could be a part of it being sub-par. We ordered a smash burger, pure burger, 24 hr fries, and an I Do concrete with hot fudge. While the food was decent--5 Guys quality, in our opinion--it's not really worth the price! While I may come back through the next time I want a burger one-step above standard fast food, I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to eat here. read more

Immediately see the seating benches and tables outside and upon walking it, the open layout is very inviting and it smells good. There's paper menus and electronic display menus on the wall. Elizabeth took our orders and gave us an order pager: Akaushi burger, Fundido fries and cup for tea. Pickup was seamless, there's a pickup counter by the other door. I wanted a burger but healthy one.. sounds impossible but the pure Japanese wagyu lean beef burger was so delicious, patty popped with flavor. Almost as good as the wagyu I had in Japan! I had to get fries with queso & bacon crumbles. These are fire, so good. Shoestring fires with drizzled not drenched queso and just enough applewood smoked bacon! Love self serve drink bar! Now I saw the tea lineup and well I had a taste sip of each of the 6 until I fell head over heels with both Strawberry Dragonfruit and Watermelon mint. The flavor list on each. My companion chose the chicken quesadillas which are supposed to have applewood smoked bacon inside too. She was disappointed because her first triangle didn't have any. I had been looking forward to trying it, and while it was decent, I wasn't particularly impressed. The tacos come in very fun and creative options, but at $6.50 for a single taco, the price feels a bit steep, even though the taste was enjoyable. I tried the Baking Pig and the Barbie tacos. The salad selection is decent, though I wish there were more variety and options for different portion sizes. I ended up ordering the kale salad to share, but it wasn't my favorite. The truffle fries were disappointing; as a fry lover, I found them slightly overcooked with a hint of burnt flavor, so I couldn't finish them. Tried this place out (Westwood location) with my wife tonight because we were really going through it this week, first we went to Blue Sushi and they were packed out. We thought, why not try something new. Maybe it will be delicious! And we heard they might have vegan options! (They didn't.) First impression: the place is empty. I point out the sign at the front that says "GET READY TO HAVE SOME UN" and raise my eyebrows and my hungry wife manages a smile. I couldn't wait to find out what having some UN means! I'd like to see you guys eat a salad without a fork by the way. We scanned menu, saw nothing vegan IN THE YEAR 2026 AD and asked about vegan options. We were told there's vegetarian options but we are so hungry at this point why not try it. After all, this is supposed to be the best burger in Overland Park. There's the avocado taco (it has aioli on it tho thats probably not vegan) and they used to have a "portobello taco", but it got taken off the menu, and besides, to make it vegan you apparently have to take off the pesto and the cheese, leaving you with a mushroom and a piece of arrrrrugula on a dry tortilla, because 100% of sauces are animal based. It's Kansas City just put some barbecue sauce on it or something. They have an Impossible Burger, with which we are familiar, but the bun is an "egg bun" and for the vegan burger you get a gluten free cardboard bun, lettuce, tomato, zero condiments, and no salt or pepper, and you'll EAT IT AND LIKE IT. Come on, give me my gluten! I know you have only met 1 vegan in your life but most vegans aren't gluten free! We want just a regular bun is that too much to ask?! In 2026?! Is the UN for unseasoned? Un Bun? Unsatisfying menu? Does the UN allude to when the United Nations sanctioned this burger for war crimes? Look it up, 2018. So we got the Impossible Burger and truffle fries (fries sold separately because this country is going into the toilet) and sat down. Food came out fast enough. Fast AND casual. My wife almost burst into tears when she bit into the burger, not tears of joy either. She recalled a terminally ill patient that she had, in order to feel better about this burger. I said come on, cant be that bad. I took a bite and the complex flavors took me back in time to when I was a little lad, in the elementary school cafeteria line, being bullied by the other kids, being yelled at to hurry up by the wrinkly lunch lady as she slopped a bland half frozen meat puck onto the dishwater wet surface of my plastic lunch tray. Ahhh yes, this un-seasoned un-flavored un-glutened un-burger tasted just like that memory. And what's this! A bonus hair in the truffle fries! Unclean! Unwashed? Or underwear hair? It did taste like truffles... Either way, unbelievable. We choked down the best burger that the culinary Mecca of Overland Park has to offer, like the hungry little piggies we were, and left, unappetized and undignified. Avocado taco was alright though. If i had to rate the "truffle fries", I would be forced to go with the Unrated Edition, on account of the "seasoned curlies" I found in there. My food has always been ready on time and staff have always been quick to help. My favorite menu items here are the barking pig, the chicken quesadilla and their fundido fries. I have been here twice so far. The first time was around noon for lunch and the drive thru line was insane. I tried to eat inside at first, but there were no available parking spots. Just be warned, it is popular. By the time I made it through the drive thru, some outside tables opened up so I was able to eat there. The second time I came at about 11 and there was only one person in line ahead of me, and plenty of seating/parking. I ordered the ancient grain bowl both times and I love it! The first time I ordered it with Chicken, the second with Shrimp. I preferred the chicken. It's a fast casual restaurant where you order at the counter and then take one of those buzzing things to your table. When it goes off you pick up your food at a different counter. First time at unforked in a while due to the renovation, and I don't think the renovation was worth it. It still kinda looks the same in there. However, the food still hit. I got the barking pig taco and the Barbie taco. My favorite of the 2 was the barking pig. The sweetness of it was the best part. I would for sure get this one again. The barbie taco was also very good, but I would recommend reevaluating the street corn salad and upping the flavor on the carnitas. The fries are also great, but I think there needs to be some cups for the ketchup or just make a pump because squeezing the ketchup packets on paper is not my favorite. This time they seemed a bit different with large chunks of mango in them, which added a nice bit of sweet/tangy to the deep fried avocado. I opted for flour tortillas because I think they hold together better. I was also thirsty, so I ordered some blackberry chocolate milkshake type concoction. It was almost a purple color with chunks of chocolate on the top and mixed in. Divine. Drive-through service was quick, given the fact that everything is made to order. My friends and I ordered The Barbie(taco), a chicken quesadilla, the Pure Burger dbl, 24-Hour Fries, and the Not So Sweet Potato Wedges. The Barbie was a solid choice. Initially seeing the price of $6.40 for one taco was alarming. However, the taco is pretty descent in size and is packed with ingredients. There is a layer of crispy melted cheese topped with carnitas, corn salad, and ranch sauce. It can run on the heavier side but the ingredients tasted fresh and enjoyed the combination of flavors. The 24-Hour Fries was a good option to have alongside the main meals. They are crispy and fresh. If you want more flavor in your fries however, I would try the truffle fries. The Not So Sweet Potato Wedges was pleasant. The texture was on the softer side and the combination of the sour cream sauce, cheese, and cilantro worked nicely. I will say the portion size was smaller than I expected. My friends got the burger and quesadilla. They enjoyed the flavors and found it filling. First you removed the portabella taco from the menu, and now I learned that you also removed the Thai Dye burger too. When we asked about sauces to go with our fries the staff member didn't know anything about the selection of sauces. When our food was done out my corn tortilla was cold with my taco. We got a "hit it thin" smash burger which is always good, but they got the order wrong, it was just meat and bun not onions or any of the toppings. Another taco had the incorrect tortilla and cold .
