My family came into town and I am always looking to guide them to good and tasty food. I personally have had the wagyu patty lettuce wrap burger, but plain, with nothing else, and it was Ok...then again how ok can you make something as that. So I directed them to Unforked to try out a burger or two and some fries. They got a Pure Burger and some fries and they mentioned that they would have rather gone down to the McDonalds on 43rd than to have gone there. They mentioned that the burger was "tastless" and that the fries were better than the burger and that "It's definitely not a burger place, maybe other things on their menu are better, but definitely not a burger place". All in all, I will not be recommending anyone further to Unforked if they are in town and looking for a good bite to eat, there are much better choices for people to be directed to. read more

I had a great first visit at Unforked! I stopped in at opening for a solo lunch and left thinking about my next visit. Lucy at the counter was so friendly and helpful. She offered great suggestions. I ended up going with her surf and turf taco suggestion along with the Broadway Joe shake. The truffle fries were something I already had my tastebuds set on and they did not disappoint. Every single item was delicious! The taco was packed with flavor, the fries were hot and perfectly seasoned, and the shake was creamy with just the right boldness. The space has a fun and relaxed vibe with TVs, bar seating, a cozy dining area, and patio seating. Beyond disappointed in this place. I ordered a salad that didn't come with specific ingredients like the dates. After having to ask for them we were given a small dish of them. While eating in the restaurant the loudest sounds of construction banging and pounding of the walls were coming from the kitchen area. So loud that my friend and I wanted to leave. The second time I went there I asked for the chocolate custard mocha. There was no chocolate nor mocha in it just nuts and custard. The lamest excuse came from them when I asked about it. Gave this spot another chance, and unfortunately it's still less than ideal on several fronts. But let's start off with good vibes, their custard is fantastic! We all shared a "Peppermint Pothole" over the holiday break and it was top tier. We were slow to order because they didn't have a kids menu, which is surprising for a place like this. I'm fairly confident the Crown Center one always has the kids covered. We just ordered off the other menu, but it was confusing. My oldest liked her burger, my youngest didn't care for the super-dried out chicken tenders, and both devoured the fries. I got a spicy chicken sandwich that was OK, if not a bit forgettable. This is on the heels of a prior visit where we got these delicious grain bowls that were literally small enough fit into a petri dish. So not exactly won over by this place, despite being at Woodside 5x times per week, a stone's throw away. I wish they could nail down some consistency and their menu with some more clarity, but we're unlikely to return. read more

Walked in for midweek takeout and the parking lot is so teeny, tiny, I only *happened* to see the sign for the lot so turned in and if my car was any bigger I would have had a hard time (if you drive a suburban or similar you won't fit in any of the spots). I tried to redeem a free quart of frozen custard from 5-star 365 which is the same rewards app many other local businesses in the city use, but the server told me "no one told us about that and we are out of quarts" so I wasn't able to redeem it. I don't know what took so long with my order but I definitely wouldn't recommend ordering to-go if you choose to go here. The person behind me received their dine-in food before me and dine-in fries are a whole basket full, but to go fries are just a little sleeve. I ordered a half salad thinking it would be a side salad and it was just a teeny kid size cup (not even 1 measuring cup of salad total). It's not like they ran out of boxes so no clue why they are serving salad in a drinking cup. The protein I added to my half salad thinking that would be a nice meal came chopped up, also in a teeny kid cup, and was the wrong protein. Nothing was at temp (cold + chewy fried chicken, I ordered hot and it was regular, salad was warm, fries cold). Will definitely not be going back to even try another location. read more

Stopped by at around 3pm on a Sunday and was impressed by this location. With hardly anyone in the restaurant and the sun shining through the windows, it made for a perfect weekend lunch. The staff was friendly and took our order and we found a seat at one of the large booths. They provided a pager that buzzes when the food is done. I chose the chicken quesadilla and the 24 hour fries. If you like your fries more crunchy and thin, this is the spot for you! They are seasoned perfectly and paired deliciously with the food. The quesadilla had good flavor, however I wish it contained a bit more chicken because it was on the thinner side of quesadillas I have eaten. For dessert I had the Kiss My Bundt, which consisted of chocolate cake, raspberries, and vanilla ice cream.... so SO good. Definitely recommend if you like chocolate and raspberries. I like the menu of Unforked and the idea of it. The dining area is a bit too sterile for me but OK'ish. However, my desire to return is truly impacted by the lack of cleanliness (sticky tables takes a little extra effort to make sure they're not), this happened several times. And I just can't get past the staff, I realize they're younger, which generally isn't a problem however, they have not been trained to be truly customer focused. They are on the phone, a lot chatting a lot, not really engaging with customers, and when they do engage with customers, it's just standing there and you're annoyed and waiting for you to hurry ... just not what I'm looking for in my dining experience. read more

This restaurant is in the same building as the wonderful Blue Sushi restaurant. You can park in the same lot as Blue Sushi behind the building and walk to the far left of the lot to find the stairs to enter Unforked. Oddly there are no signs in the lot directing you to the restaurant. We got the Impossible Taco, the Ma-La Bello taco, the Cali taco, and the Crispy Avocado taco. All were very good, with the Impossible Taco and the Crispy Avocado taco being best. We also got sides of the Cauliflower Rice and the Not So Sweet Potato Wedge, with the sweet potato wedges being really outstanding along with the spicy sauce provided with them. We got glasses of the Black Box Chardonnay. The dining room is very attractive with comfortable oval booths facing the large windows along Rainbow Blvd. If we were there for lunch or to pick up takeout food, we would have been totally happy. Relative to takeout or lunch, the service was very efficient, fast, and friendly. You order and pay at the counter. The food is then brought to your table. If you decide you want another glass of wine, another course, or dessert, you return to the counter, place your order, and pay at the register and add tip each time you order something. But for a relaxed dinner, I prefer full service at the table without the need to return to the counter each time you want something else. In addition, at dinner I prefer not being asked to add a tip to the bill and to close it out each time I order something before receiving any service. There is a middle ground. Spin Pizza restaurant requires you to order initially at the counter and to provide your credit card, when you order. But they do not close out the bill and you do not yet add a tip. After you go to your table and receive your order, your server takes the order for anything else you want and provides updated bills each time you order anything more. When you have finished your dinner, you add the tip, total your bill, and sign it to close it out. For dinner, I find that procedure to be more relaxed and appropriate than having to return to the counter for everything else you want, while paying and adding tip for each additional course or glass of wine in advance. I am giving the restaurant four stars as the average of the five stars for lunch or takeout service and three stars for dinner service. read more

So so yummy. We were coming through on a road trip and looking for something with healthy options that could also accommodate gluten free and dairy free folks. I love Unforked's food and I hadn't been to this location yet so was happy to check it out. The building is clean and fresh and modern, but be aware that all the windows make it cold. Bring your jacket. Plus it's confusing where you're supposed to park- to help others who may be wondering where to park like I was- park behind the restaurant and walk between it and the store named Ulah- you'll see steps going up to the restaurant entrance. We got a variety of their menu items and enjoyed them all. The queso dip was the star of the show. We could've drunk it like soup! Super nice staff and quick service. We'll be back. read more
