It's a traditional cold weather drink made with masa harina, milk, and spices. My tia made it when I was a kid, so there's fond memories. This one was better ... and lucky for me tia isn't on Yelp and will never read this. They have soft drinks and a few alcohol drinks that I may try next time. The one that's a bloody mary except with beer instead of vodka sounded interesting. Next time I go, I'm taking FPO with me. I recently visited Champion Burritos, hoping for an authentic Mexican dining experience, but left feeling quite disappointed. Based on my visit, I can only give it 2 stars. First, the pricing at Champion Burritos is shockingly high. For the cost, I expected a much higher quality of food and an overall better experience. Unfortunately, the meal did not live up to its steep price tag. One of the main letdowns was the tortilla. It tasted store-bought, which significantly detracted from the authenticity of the burrito. A good tortilla is the foundation of any great burrito, and this one just didn't cut it. It lacked the fresh, homemade quality that makes Mexican cuisine so special. On a positive note, the chips were excellent - crispy, flavorful, and perfectly salted. However, the queso was a big miss. I would advise anyone to steer clear of it. It had a strange texture and lacked the rich, cheesy taste you would expect. Overall, while Champion Burritos has some potential, the high prices and lack of authenticity in key components make it hard to recommend.
