Now that this location has been open for awhile they are less busy and much faster. The employee was quick and helpful and patient as I deliberated on some toppings and there were only 4-5 pizzas in front of mine so it didn't take too long to come out. For the prices and options available, I would definitely recommend this as a place to come for pizza given the few options in the area. I'll be back soon! Everything fresh. Food quality has never changed in the years we have been coming here. About six months ago they did raise prices by about 50 cents, but then everything has gone up in price lately. One thing to remember when ordering here, EVERYTHING is made to order, so never be timid about asking for more or less of any topping. Requests are always cheerfully accommodated. Prefer your pizza with more, smaller slices, just ask. Though MOD doesn't deliver, ever time we are there, we observe people leaving with 4-10 take out boxes. They do a huge take out business. This past Wednesday(12/29) I had my first and last experience with Mod pizza. I decided to order online so I wouldn't have to wait in line and pick up on my way to work. About 10 minutes later, in the car on the way to mod, my cell rings. I have terrible reception but heard that they were wondering why I sent in two orders. I showed up and explained the situation to the cashier, I was met with rudeness and complete disbelief. Not only did they not believe that I didn't want two exact same pizzas, they tried to give me someone else's pizza. That's right everybody, I had to argue that someone else's pizza wasn't mine. My name is Krystal B. Someone else ordered with the name Kris M. Not even close. Eventually I gave up arguing with cashier and stepped back to wait for my pizza. Once I got both of these ridiculous pizzas, I asked for a drink cup. I had ordered a drink with each order but was only offered one drink cup. When I went to get a drink, the entire drink station was out of carbonation and the Powerade was out too. I threw the cup away and just left. I had to pay $20.52 ($10.26 per order) for two pizzas and two drinks. One pizza I didn't want and two drinks I never received/couldn't have drank anyway because the machines weren't up kept. I also spent 20 minutes in Mod pizza which is ridiculous for a pick up order at a place with "fast" on the building. The place was pretty busy and somewhat messy. I was kind of glad I got my order to go. I love their gluten free crust... Super crispy and holds the toppings perfectly. I ordered the Cooper. I love any and all things with asparagus so this was perfect. I did ask for grilled chicken to be added, for some protein, but found sausage on it when I opened it at home. I wasn't sure what this would be like going into it but I'm glad I gave it a chance. The biggest issue I have with pizza places are that they charge so much for extra toppings. Here you simply pay one price for the size of the pizza you want and all the toppings you want are no extra charge. I chose to build my own and it came out great. This is a relatively new fast-food / pizza concept that I am familiar with. I have seen similar businesses in other states with the same idea. One of which is called "Fired Pie." The differences are not perceptible to the average consumer. For instance, all of my experiences at Fired Pie have been great. They are fast, efficient, and organized. Unfortunately, my first experience at MOD Pizza was slow, inefficient, and disorganized. A number of changes need to be made before I will go back.
