The problem lies in their automatic tipping online. We went online and ordered the pizza we wanted. Drove to the store to pick it up. Went into the store, gave our name, and the pizza was handed to us. Drove home and then cooked the pizza ourselves. The pizza was pretty good, no issue with that. Here is the problem...the online system automatically adds a 15% tip to all orders when you check out whether you want it or not. This is take out...a pick up and cook it yourself. Not much different than picking up a something at Safeway next door. Why is there an automatic tip added??? I may or may not tip in this situation, but to have it automatically on you bill unless you go about the steps to change or remove it seems a bit sketchy. read more

I come to this Papa Murphy's location from time to time. Their pizzas are always tasty and the service is super friendly and fast. I usually hover between Domino's and Papa Murphy's for my pizza needs around Lacey. I go to Domino's when I want to dine in and go to Papa Murphy's when I want a hot and fresh pie to eat while watching a show at home. Papa Murphy's also has one of the best birthday freebies out of any chain restaurants. Period. They offer $16 off any pizza and their specialty pizzas start at $16.99! One thing I really appreciated is when I ran into an issue where my free birthday pizza wasn't showing up on my app the manager honored the reward anyways. We didn't know they didn't cook the pizzas. Not their fault, but why am I paying you $40 to not do half the job. Restaurant pizzas are amazing because they're cooked at temperatures home ovens can't achieve, so the price should be modified since you're not getting the part that makes pizzas taste good. When we cooked them home it was nothing special. The crust reminded me of a higher end frozen pizza, like DiGiornos. Also wasn't crazy that when you pay by credit card you are flyover an option to tip. Tip for what? You didn't deliver it or bring it to my table. Don't be so presumptuous. read more

Love the chicken bacon stuffed pizza. It's cool, but Service was okay, but not the best. I think they need to work on their instructions. Instructions on the stuffed pizza says 350 degrees for at least 32-40 minutes. What a disaster! Only 10 minutes in and the bottom of our pizza is burnt. It didn't just happen with the stuffed pizza, but it happened the last time with our regular pizza as well. We had to cook it at 250 for over an hour and make sure to keep watching it so it doesn't burn. So I agree with some of the comments where they should also have an option to cook it for us with a commercial pizza oven. I believe the instructions are for those and not our typical at home ovens. Pizza overall was still delicious, but can still taste the burntness. Despite that, next day microwaved pizza was phenomenal. Whenever they can figure out the correct temperature, maybe I will change the rating. Meanwhile, 3.5 stars without the .5 selection. read more

I have been going to this location since it first opened up. The staff has always been very friendly and no matter how busy they are, there are at least team members greeting you when you walk through the door. Here lies the disappointment. 2 times in the last 30 days we have ordered a Family Chicago Stuffed pizza and we were very disappointed, they are putting way too much pizza sauce on the bottom crust and too much on the upper crust that after its done cooking, both the upper and lower crusts are super soggy and unable to pick up. Hopefully management might see this and correct before they lose a valued customer. read more

I love Papa Murphy's: delicious food, reasonable prices, and fast and friendly service every time. This location, especially, really impressed me. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. The girl who took my order was friendly and attentive. My pizzas were done in record time and they even offered to help me out to my car! I was holding my daughter and had ordered 3 pizzas so the help was a very nice gesture. I will definitely be sure to support this location the next time we have pizza for dinner. read more

Very pleasant when ordering pizza and good in store experience. Upon arriving home, the stuffed pizza was completely different than explicitly ordered. Called to ask what could be done, more or less we were told it was our fault for not reading the menu correctly even when we were ensured by the manager that our pizza would be made correctly. DISHONEST PRICING, UNHELPFUL STAFF I found a coupon online and decided to order an item that qualified under the coupon (thin crust two-topping pizza). I called the Marvin Rd. Lacey, Washington branch and read the coupon to them. I spoke to a female employee named Jennifer. I told her that I had found the coupon on the Papa Murphy's website. I read it word for word and asked if they would accept it. The coupon stated that it was valid in-store or online, for an $8 two topping thin crust family size pizza. Jennifer confirmed that the coupon for an $8 pizza would work. I sent my partner to pick up the pizza. When she arrived, she was told that the coupon would not be honored (by the same employee). Jennifer stated that the coupon would only be valid if it had been received by text message (even though I told her on the phone it had been obtained online). The employee said that the coupon would work only if ordered online.. My partner paid nearly double ($15 plus tax) for the same pizza. There was no attempt to offer an alternative coupon or apologize. If I had known that the coupon would not be honored, I would have ordered a much larger pizza (a stuffed crust for example) for a couple dollars more and received much more food. Very unsatisfied with the inaccurate information from Jennifer and the unwillingness to do anything to resolve the issue. read more

the pizza is always made well, the place is clean, the staff almost always are fast and friendly. My only complaint is that they often do a poor job of plastic wrapping now, which used to always be done fantastically well, and so transporting can be a problem. read more
