Visiting Great Wolf Lodge and decided to leave the facility to get food for cheaper. So glad we did because this was delicious! We ordered personal pizzas. Great price and so yummy! The garlic sauce was so good.

Yum! Stopped in to grab lunch while staying at GWL. Placed my order online and headed over when it was ready - just a couple minutes down the road. Pan Pizza (all meats) - soft crust, delicious sauce, and LOTS of meat! Kids finished off all of it. Classic Italian Sandwich - asked for lots of onions and got it. Not much meat but very flavorful!

Very close to hotel, nice surrounding. Easy to find. Go for extra thick dough and you will experience something really good and crispy.

The upstairs is small and intimate, which gives the whole place a cozy, unique feel. Our waiter this time was a young gentleman who was incredibly friendly and did a great job! Three of us ordered Coors Lights in bottles, and he brought them out ice cold with a chilled glass to pour them into. When we ordered a second round, he let us know he had just put some more in the freezer, so it would be a few minutes. That little extra step made a difference...we'd much rather wait a few minutes for an ice-cold beer than have it brought out warm! I ordered the spaghetti with their house-made Bolognese sauce and added a meatball, and WOW. The sauce had the perfect combination of slight sweetness, a little spice from the sausage, and that tangy tomato flavor. So good! And I'm usually not a huge fan of restaurant meatballs because they can be tough or rubbery, but this one was soft, juicy, and packed with flavor. Sean got the lasagna and absolutely loved it! Our friends who invited us out ordered the steak and spaghetti Bolognese, and everyone was happy with their meals. The steak was cooked exactly how it was requested, and the quality of the food for the price was really good. Overall, Pellegrino's is just a great little place. Warm, inviting atmosphere, friendly service, delicious food, and a fun, intimate setting that feels a little different from your typical Italian restaurant. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a place to enjoy a good meal with friends. We'll definitely be back!

Right away there was confusion at check-in--they called for a party of 9 with no name, and the host was rude when we responded using the first name instead of the last. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes just to get drinks, and then another 30 minutes before our server took our food order. During that time, we weren't asked about appetizers or offered any drink refills. About an hour later, the server came back and told us the kitchen was backed up and they were "just now making our food," which honestly felt like our order may have been forgotten. At that point, all of our drinks were empty and I had to ask for refills. While we were still waiting, another server came to the table asking how one of our steaks was cooked, which added to the confusion. Our food finally arrived after about an hour and a half. Unfortunately, the issues didn't stop there: My spaghetti and meatballs was incorrect, but I kept it since I didn't want to wait again with a toddler. My sister's husband's meal was never even put in--the server admitted this. My sister's fish and chips came out cold. No one checked back to see how the food was. Drinks were left empty again with no refills offered. We were never asked about dessert. Plates were never cleared, even after I stacked empties at the end of the table to help. Every time we needed something, we had to flag someone down. To make matters worse, the checks came out incorrect with items swapped between them. I've worked as a server/bartender for four years, and my niece is also a server, so we completely understand how busy and stressful things can get. But this experience missed the mark on multiple levels. Even when things go wrong, basic service--like keeping drinks filled and checking on guests--should still be happening. This was easily the worst restaurant experience I've had. It was especially disappointing because we're an easy group and typically tip very well. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

I had the Pesto Caprese pizza and it was amazing! The balsamic glaze added just the right amount of sweetness to bring together the different flavors. My husband had the NY steak and said it was delicious and cooked to perfection. Our server was very attentive and told us how all the ingredients were locally sourced, which is very good to hear because we like to support local businesses. Lastly, the building is quite beautiful with the exposed brick interior walls. I'm not familiar with the local history so I'm curious as to what this building was originally? We will definitely come back and also check out the market next time.

    ### So Bad It Was Almost Comical…read more My wife and I stopped here for lunch on our drive from Oregon to Seattle. The parking lot was completely full, so after circling around and eventually finding street parking, we figured the place must be popular. Unfortunately, that turned out to be the high point of the experience. The main restaurant was fairly full, so we were seated in a large, dark bar area in the back. And then... nothing happened. For more than 30 minutes. Eventually, a waiter appeared and took our order. Then another 30+ minutes passed before the food arrived. Somehow, even our iced tea didn't make it to the table until the food did. All told, we spent roughly an hour sitting at an empty table without so much as a beverage, and about 90 minutes from the time we arrived until we actually had food in front of us. At that point, the whole experience was becoming almost comical. We ordered a cod burger with fries, a Caesar salad, onion rings and an iced tea. The cod burger was okay. Nothing memorable, but edible. The Caesar salad was actually good. The fries, however, arrived cold, soggy and thoroughly greasy -- quite an accomplishment considering how long we waited for them. The onion rings apparently embarked on a separate journey altogether, because they never arrived. By then, we'd lost the will to ask about them and just gave up. The grand total for one cod burger with cold fries, a small Caesar salad and an iced tea? $40.00! We mentioned the long wait, forgotten food and other problems to our waiter. He was sympathetic and explained that they were short staffed, which we understand can make things difficult. But being short staffed doesn't make a 90-minute lunch, no drinks for an hour, cold soggy fries and forgotten food any less disappointing -- especially at those prices. By the end, we weren't even angry. The whole thing had crossed over into comedy. Needless to say, on future drives between Oregon and Seattle, we'll be finding a different midway lunch stop.

Loved this place!…read more We will be returning soon! We were greeted right away. Wait staff was great. Our waiter, Cheryl, was knowledgeable when asked about the food and was kind. It was busy, and she still made rounds to make sure she knew when our appetizer, food, and drinks were coming. This was our first time, and the food was the best we have had in a long time. You can just tell the quality in the authentic Italian food. Recommend 100%! Things to know: Call to reserve. Don't just walk in. Our server was very friendly and shared many delicious sounding specials. The four of us shared a nice bottle of Chianti to start the leisurely meal. They also give out free focaccia bread to start which is very good. For appetizers we ordered the calamari, fried potato cakes, and the heirloom tomato burrata appetizer special. Everything was delicious. I especially loved the calamari, which was served as tender strips instead of the usual rings. Two people in our group ordered the scallop linguini and said it was incredibly flavorful, with delicious homemade pasta. My friend and I both had the Spinach and Ricotta Rotoli, with one made vegetarian. It was rich, satisfying, and tasted like it was made with homemade ricotta, just like the pasta. For dessert, we shared the pistachio cake and tiramisu. The tiramisu was excellent, but the pistachio cake was the standout. I'd never had pistachio cake before, and it was so good that my friend ordered another slice to take home. The ambiance was lovely, with a live piano player on Saturday evening (I'm not sure if that's offered every night). While the atmosphere is relaxed--as you'd expect in a beach town like Ocean Shores--it still feels like a wonderful spot for a special dinner. We will definitely be back.
