One of my favorite MOD Pizza restaurants. This was the very first to open in Olympia. The staff are always pleasant, and highly efficient. Two hinges to know about this location. 1. Mid afternoon they get a large number of children being brought in with their parents for an afterschool meal. 2. They seem to get a large amount of take out orders. I sometimes see customers walking out with 4-10 boxes. Obviously the prices have go e up, but this is still the best value of any of the local pizza restaurants, and of course every pizza is customized to the customers wants, so don't be afraid to ask for mare of anything on you pie. This place had so many different pizza flavors that I never heard of, so trying this one that Jaric got for us was a pleasant surprise! I really liked it, especially because it was thin crust. Nicely toasted, hehe ! Super duper clean at the dining area AND the bathroom, too! People here are really nice and even checked in on us while we dined inside, even though they were working the counter and making the pizzas. I've been ordering pizza from this MOD Pizza location for a while now and it used to be fantastic. But the last couple times it has been pretty bad. Last time, the crust was completely burned and inedible. This time, today, I decided to give them another try as it could have just been a one-off bad experience. The pizza I got today was smaller than usual though I always order the same size. Toppings were much more sparse this time and it was stone cold when I got it though the store is very close to me. I'm not sure if their policies have changed or if they have someone making pizza now that does a bad job, but I won't be ordering from them any more. Pizza is good and consistent! But I am pretty disappointed that they now only have 1 person on prep for the eat-in line and they prioritize online orders over people standing in line. Last few times I've been to Mod it has taken at least 10-15 minutes before I get through line, and there was only 3 or 4 people in front of me in line read more

I give this place 4 stars just for the sole fact that there was one guy behind the counter making pizzas on a Friday night when it was sooooo busy. Everyone was asking him when their pies would be ready and he never flinched on being wonderful to each and everyone of them. I was one of them. Don't misunderstand my review. The pizza was good. Both my son and I enjoyed our food. The young blond gal was a bit rude. But she was super young and probably didn't know she she needed to be nice. But we got through that. The restaurant, itself, is a mess. They have it set up wrong behind the counters, even the toppings on the line are set up wrong. So the kids are bumping into each other making the pizza and salads, the line is messy, and because the have the one line, split into two separate pizza stations, so even the customers do not have flow and are bumping into each other. The person taking the order and making food should not be ringing up the customer. Cross contamination could be happening. And I didn't notice that she washed her hands, put on fresh gloves. So, to be fair. Food was a 4 star. Service a 2.5, and the ambiance of the restaurant itself is a 2 star. read more

The pizza is great here and you can order a personalized pizza which is great for groups. They are not the fastest pizza in town (we did pick up) but hey are quite delicious. They also stay warmer than I thought. They still had a bit of heat left in the them after getting home. read more

Okay, first off my 4 Stars is for the customer service & fast service! We were instantly greeted by a super friendly young man who explained how everything runs and how to order. It's set up kinda like pizza subway, the topping are all right there for you pick what you want. The pizza is a very thin & pressed crust but surprisingly super tasty. I recommend it for a light lunch. If you're a New York huge thick sliced kind of pizza person , then this place isn't for you. I'd return for lunch for sure though, the pizza is darn tasty! It's decor is super trendy and the music too. Only thing that turned me off is the floors were dirty and the tables were dusty and needed some cleaning. read more

I have had this pizza at the Puyallup location which has always been Great even delivery. This was disappointing for how much I paid. The canadian bacon was cold and looks old. I had to microwave my slices. Even though this was delivery they could have used a warmer bag but this pizza is cold from not being cooked correctly. The dessert is advertised as having cream filling. Well I had to bite til a quarter of it remaining to see the miniscule or lack there of cream filling inside. The quality for pizza and dessert is a 1 star. First and last time ordering from this location. read more

My only complaint with this place is that many times their air conditioning is so high that it feels like it's a walk in freezer . Oh yeah, one time I went there and it was so slammed I ordered with my phone and my order got lost, so they cooked me up a new pizza plus added a drink and some no name cakes (didn't touch them though). Definitely a sweet deal for vegetarians! All the toppings you want on a thin crust pizza. Flat rate! The only problem I had was with the person working on my pizza who ran to the back to get onions for my pizza. He came back with the same gloves to finish my pizza. No change of food gloves. Umm. Love, love, love the pizza!! It's really nice to be able to build your own and add whatever you want for one flat price. Some of the employees are great and very personable and others it seems as if they don't give a crap. No customer service skills whatsoever. Why is it that it depends on who makes your pizza? If someone asks for extra or to add more then just do it! Why be so frugal when the whole consept of your establishment is to allow someone to build there own pizza the way they like it! Super friendly staff, pizzas made to order and worth the price. However I wish they had different crusts. Not a fan of the super super thin crust but it does the job with the endless toppings you're able to get. I highly recommend the salads as well. I like to order the Mad Dog which has MOD red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, mild sausage, and ground beef, and I like to add black olives, mushrooms, sweet hot mama peppers, and artichoke hearts. Went for lunch and ordered the caspian. They were quick, friendly, and made a delicious pizza. I was bummed because I wanted to sit on a booth type seat but he cushions were atrocious. However before I left they had a person in to replace the cushions with new leather. So this also tells me the management realizes issues and also solves them! Pizza is alright but nothing special. The service on the other hand is dreadful. Every single employee I've had an interaction with are very condescending and act as if you stopping them from doing something extremely important and should feel lucky because it's so rare to be granted an audience with pizza gods such as them. You get the school lunch kinda vibe which is not a good thing. I won't even set foot in a mod pizza because twice I was treated like this by the staff there. This is the forth time I've presented curbside only to find that the 2 curbside spots have long term Parker's in them and the contact number to call for curbside pickup is not "accepting calls". I've gone in each time and each time told "we don't have issues with our phones calls come through ". I called the number and let the staff listen and all he said is I don't know why that happened. Decided to give this place a try and really happy with the friendliness of the employees and the fresh pizza! First thing you notice when you walk in is every employee gives you a hello regardless of what they're doing. Pretty sweet. So many topping choices it's definitely overwhelming, or it was for me at least because I wanted to try a half dozen different combinations right away. I ended up with a mini crust mod pizza with chicken, anchovies, chicken jalapeno sausage, canadian bacon, olives, roasted red peppers, onions, and some mozzarella. Be aware that the mini crust pizza is not very big and so it might not be filling to the average adult! Besides that, the pizza itself was really good! Loved the thin, crisp crust. Really appreciated the thin layer of red sauce and sprinkle of cheese so the taste of my toppings could stand out more and not be drowned out by a thick, doughy crust or an overabundance of cheese. The only thing I didn't care for were the anchovies. They were very salty so I'll probably steer clear from them next time I come in. But I will definitely come back. There are so many different topping combinations I'm excited to try mixed with the various sauces and any final touches after it's been cooked! The staff was friendly, the pizza cook time was speedy quick, and the pizza itself tasted delicious! Richanda!!! (Maybe spelling her name wrong) working and living down the street from MOD I go here a lot. That being said I have never had such an incredible experience/service than Richanda. They are amazing!!!! Funny, helpful, patient, EVERYTHING!!! I can say enough about my good experience with Richanda also Jamie working the fire was so nice and actually made my pizza the way I want. Previous experiences have never been this good. I have had my pizza dropped people be extremely rude and disrespectful. This cleaned the slate and I will only and always go there when this particular staff if working. Richanda didn't expect a tip. When I saw the card reader had only 10% or less I was offended no one should ever tip less than 20% and people like Richanda and Jamie deserve 20% plus. GIVE THEM A RAISE!!! read more
