This is a brand new pizza store in Kalispell, Montana. Conveniently located near Costco target and Walmart. We were really craving pizza so I decided to go here. They were probably 15 people in line as it was a very busy night and they were understaffed. The crew was doing their best to keep the line moving but it was hard to keep tables clean and garbage is dumped. Overall, the pizza crust is crispy and thin. Good pizza with lots of toppings to choose from! The Mod size is about right if you want to take home a slice or three. Not as fast as typical fast food, but fast for custom pizza! I don't think I've ever seen it too crowded, which is nice, especially for the hutton ranch neighborhood which is often crowded. Probably avoid on days the Kidsport complex is busy, but otherwise it's reasonably good bet that it's quiet. read more

Forgot to write a review when I visited family on August 25. I came to eat here and this was the worst experience . I was ordering my food and the young man behind the counter was putting orders together for my family . When I ordered my food I forgot to tell him it was to go. He didn't ask me but I saw that he asked the person after me . So I said my orders are to go. He slapped his hands down on the counter and then took off into the back. I'm thinking , is this guy for real? And sure as shit he was! Came back after a few minutes and made my food. Just has a terrible attitude and basically threw a temper tantrum . He was rude to my wife when she ordered and hey ... if you hate working with people then this might not be the job for you . I will NEVER GO TO THIS STORE AGAIN. I've seen this chain of pizza stores and a lot of towns I've been in. But now Kalispell Montana has one and I thought why not give it a try, it came highly recommended. Right now I'm recovering from an injury so I was on crutches and ordered from my phone from my car which was very easy on their website. Gave me a time when the pizza was ready and I hobbled in and when it was ready The nice young gentleman carried my pizza out to my car for me. I ordered a mushroom onion pizza with mozzarella and a fig balsamic drizzle. It was absolutely delicious. They have 30 different toppings to choose from I was just in the mood for a mushroom and pizza at the time. But I am excited to come back and try different flavor combinations. We usually enjoy their Greek salad, but it is unavailable. I tried the Italian chop salad instead, but they were also out of several of its ingredients, and the dressing wasn't good. All I could really taste was lettuce and olives. I picked out all the onion bcuz it was cut into enormous pieces. The garlic cheese bread was super thin, had zero garlic flavor, and no cheese on about half of it. Even on the pieces with cheese, you just couldn't taste it. It was my first time trying out MOD pizza and I had a great experience. I loved that it's a flat rate for adding toppings on your customizable pizza. That took me by surprise. I love MOD Pizza and this one is the worst I have ever experienced. Absolutely filthy.... Hand written sign on door changed Saturday hours to 11:30 to 8... County rating was A- but not sure how it passed any inspection. Seemed to be short staffed, One person making pizzas while manager Dave refilled topping containers, disgusting to watch. He would take new container of ingredients and use the bottom of the container to tamp down half full containers then dump the new container on top of half full container. Store opened at 11:30 we were there around 3 there was no toilet paper in the women's rest room and one of the 2 toilets was blocked with floating excrement. When I mentioned it to him he acted throughly disguised, sent over 2 of his employees to talk to me stating "he took them off of prep work" to speak to me? Why? Mod pizza is usually a great chain with super employees and pizza. But this franchise is disgusting....Probably starts from the top down. Get your pizza elsewhere. Huge issue with cross contamination here for those that are gluten free. I have eaten at other MOD establishments before as well as Blaze, Lit and Pizza Artista. While cross contamination is of course possible, nothing was done to even care about the gluten free person. No separate sauce ladle. No glove changing. There was no mat or pan under the pizza when cooking the oven. When my husband asked about it, the guy literally said the oven is so hot it prevents cross contamination. Obviously a huge lack of education here. Great place for anyone who doesn't have food restrictions but I will never eat at another MOD establishment if these are their practices. read more

Order wasn't ready on time. Staff seemed to be distracted and our pizzas were definitely over cooked. Not sure if they were out of toppings, but my pizza was missing quite a few toppings. The bbq "drizzle" looked like someone had just dumped loads of bbq on top of the pizza. Fast food pizza in the all-you-can load up style. Inexpensive and easy to order. The staff is awesome. Super fun and happy group who work well together and are efficient. These guys have awesome toppings, my favorites were gorgonzola, Brussels sprouts and grilled chicken. The finishing sauces were awesome. And I really liked the balsamic fig finishing sauce. The crust is tasty too. The salads looked pretty awesome and I could easily eat one of those. There are several pizza recipes on the wall as you wait so you can use one of the those if you aren't creative enough to come up with your own. Came in around 2 on a Saturday. They were low on a lot of toppings. This place is filthy dirty. Floor was sticky, tables were dirty and seats had crumbs all over. This is the best pizza because you make it. If it's not good you only have yourself to blame. We get the Mod size personal pizza which is like $7. Each we get one of those each and usually take half or so home. You walk a line like buffet And you tell them what you want on it and you can put as much as you like on it at no extra cost. I think it is just thin crust but that is my favorite anyway. It is so good and fast. Here is what I put On mine. White sauce, extra Mozzarella cheese, Pepperoni, Chicken, Black olive, Mushrooms. Don't plan to eat here if you have any sanitation or COVID concerns. The young man behind the counter was wearing his mask under his nose. Could have lived with that but as we were waiting in line we watched him using the same gloves as he stuck his hand into all the toppings and then did something at the cash register and then back to making pizzas. He obliged when I asked him to change his gloves but it appears that the staff is untrained and definitely unsupervised. Also asked two different employees if they could clean the tables and they were too busy. Finally someone came from the back with a dirty rag and no cleaner. The food is fine but the cleanliness is so compromised that it's just not worth the risk. read more

So I just ordered my pizza here and asked for BBQ sauce instead of the red sauce. I attached a photo... Can you see the BBQ sauce at all? Barely! I asked if they were gonna put more on. I love love love the pizza. The build your own option is brilliant and I love the ingredient choices. The staff however is disgusting. I've been to MOD pizza locations in multiple cities and states and the staff has been decent. However the Kalispell staff makes it hard to enjoy the restaurant. Many of them look like they haven't showered in weeks. They wear dirty beanies on top of matted hair. One of them I noticed kept taking frequent smoking breaks while I was there and was really dirty. Many of the others sit right behind the ingredient counter eating and drinking in between making pizzas. And they don't switch gloves very often so you're gonna get your pizza touched by the same hands that touched the last person's Pizza....so if you have serious allergies, that could be a problem. And many of them need more training on how to actually make the pizzas. They frequently undercook them so you get soft dough and barely hot toppings. One put a tiny dollop of sauce in the middle of the pizza and didn't seem to realize that it wouldn't cover the pizza at all....and then they rubbed all the toppings off of my pizza when they baked it. But with all that said, I LOVE the pizza so I will go back. read more
