Mama Ev's is hands down my favorite restaurant in Whitefish -- and my boyfriend's too! We've tried so many items on the menu, and every time we branch out and order something new, we're completely delighted. There's a freshness to every dish that really stands out. The sourdough pizza crust is absolutely incredible -- perfectly crisp, flavorful, and just plain delicious. The service is consistently wonderful, with genuinely friendly staff who make you feel welcome. The interior is thoughtfully designed as well -- the tables are nicely spaced and the lighting is just right, creating such a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend! read more

What a dissatisfying experience for me and my Dad. Thought we'd try the newer place in town but over 30.00 (with a 15% Tip) for a 11inch pizza with no more than 8 inch of sauce and even less pepperoni served with a pair of shears to cut it up ourselves seems a bit much even for " the Fish " . Very bland flavor even with added red pepper flakes. My Dad wanted coffee but they don't serve it. And later when he asked for a Pepsi or coke no dice either. It's a clean little place with plastic chairs and very stark but has a cool pizza oven. If you're at all OCD clean person don't watch the pizza tossing. read more

Loved this place, hate to admit this was our third choice for the night. But it ended up being a standout choice. The staff worked together really well and the atmosphere was laid back. We weren't rushed at all which I really liked. As for the food we got the beet salad, would I could eat every day and be happy. Dinner was excellent. Pepperoni pizza and elk/pork meatballs were delicious. Ordered a very nice bottle of wine that was reasonably priced thanks to our server (Chris) who helped us narrow down on a great pick. They had the World Cup on so we hung out a little longer and enjoyed. Chris made the whole experience so personal and fun. Definitely will be back sooner than later! read more

I was staying at a nearby motel and walked down to this pizza joint. Wasn't expecting much but it was one of the best meals ever! I had the watermelon salad which was amazing! Watermelon, feta cheese, sliced radishes, cucumber, tangerine, and arugula. Then their pizza special was prosciutto, peaches, caramelized onions in a white sauce. The crust was perfect. I had high hopes based on the rating, but... The good things were the ambiance and our server. The bad were the pizza, the price and the scissors. The pizza crust was soggy and wet in the middle. Inedible. We were handed large scissors to cut the soggy pizza, which is novel yet cumbersome. The tiny table didn't help when we wanted to set our scissors down. The server offered to try to cook them some more, but I'm afraid that with that much moisture the crust was never going to get where it needed to be , IMO. Oh and the pizza was around $25 for a personal size. read more

What a great find in Whitefish! Tucked away in a cozy spot is this amazing little pizzeria. Seating outside and inside makes it easy to settle in and have a great meal. It's very open with a new industrial feel in how it's finished out. The pizza menu is creative and simple at the same time. It's an open kitchen so you can see all of the quality and fresh ingredients. Although the gentlemen making the pies were working quickly, you could also tell they were working carefully to be sure every pizza came out great. The wine list was very strong and reasonably prPro tip: Don't overlook the salads - they looked amazing! The service was prompt and friendly. Another pizza place in town said we had a 2hr and 20min wait for a pie. We came directly here and had ours in 20min. Best to enjoy this little spot before the word gets out - it's going to get busy that's for sure. We will definitely be back! read more

Best restaurant in the valley. Fresh, real ingredients & local produce makes for food that tastes like real food. Bruschetta is unreal but you cant really go wrong with anything on the menu. There's an outtake from the movie Talladega Nights where Will Ferrell says "if you don't chew Red Stripe Gum then I will fight you." This is basically how I feel about anyone who doesn't love Mama Ev's. We came here with a party of 7 and were immediately delighted by the ambiance. We talked with "Mama Ev" and she shared with us her passion for the cleanest ingredients available. Her sincerity was incredibly evident. Oh, and the food is absolutely incredible. All organic ingredients and organic wines (mostly from Europe). I hope Mama Ev's is at the forefront of more restaurants like this built on great quality ingredients and genuine passion for food. Will be back often. Can't recommend highly enough. read more

Best pizza in Whitefish! We ordered the mushroom, margarita and sausage pizzas recently and loved them all. Our grandkids raved about the margarita and sausage pizzas in particular. The dough was the perfect thickness and all of the pizzas were so flavorful and yummy! This place is the real deal. We will be eating here regularly from now on.
