My husband loved the Octoberfest, so stuck with that. I started With a local cider from Big Mountain Ciderworks is called Snow Devil.(Bright and tasty) Then I tried the Scotch ale from Mountain Man Jeremiah johnson brewing company.. My fave of all the brews. Then on to the Tamarack Amber. It was all right. A little bit stronger than other ambers. Then went for the the Bias Brewery Kolsch. Fresh and crisp and tasted like a light ale. Bartender was jovial and attentive. We sat at the bar since we had time to kill and we're mostly planning on finishing off some beers before having to head to the airport. Clearly a place loved by the locals. And they have a drive of pizza pickup window. Pizza was great if you like thin crust pizza.

I don't know if the ingredients are exactly gourmet, but the crust is thin and crispy, and that's something that so many woodfire places still haven't figured out how to do. I was only visiting the area and I only went to Moose's once, but I sure wish I could bring it home. Plus--peanuts and a saw-dust floor. So it's a little dark. Who needs to see their food? You know where your mouth is.

PLEASE ADD THIS TO YOUR COLUMBIA FALLS LIST! You won't…read moreregret! Let's start off with being greeted by the team when walking in! We ordered the The Bob IPA (brewed by Sacred Waters Brewing Company in Kalispell, Montana) which was a crisp citrus & pine forward brew. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Serve with the Greek salad that comes with a homemade balsamic vinaigrette. Everything paired together so well and the large size is plenty to share for two For our pizza, we ordered the Glacier Rim pizza (all meat combo with pepperoni, sausage, meatball, bacon). WOW. Hand tossed crust to perfection, but not too thick or thin. Plenty of toppings. 12 inch is enough for two people if ordering a starter/salad. Service was fantastic, our brews salad and pizza were all delivered to us. This is a small owned and operated pizza shop with staff who are happy to serve their customers. & to end the dinner evening, they shouted goodbyes to us as if we've been friends for years. Just a lovely experience. Thank you NFP

We've been here twice now while visiting the area. Once take out, once eating in. First time we just got a pizza with pepperoni and onion (our go-to) and it was delish! Second time we got a margharita pizza and a Greek salad to share in store. They were fast to prepare, nice people working, and good amount of seating for the area. Salad was so fresh I loved it. I hadn't tried any pizza in Whitefish but this was still solid enough I'd trust telling someone it's worth the barely 10min drive outside of Whitefish for.

Would be good with just a regular slice (cheese) too. The buns were nice and flaky and marinara went well. Would love to try a sandwich or something else there too, based on our order being really good. Ordering was easy and we got take out. Staff was nice and it was easy to make the pickup. As we got take out, we didn't get too much into the atmosphere of the place. Parking was easy though. It was a pleasant surprise as we were just hoping for an easy filler, but it was really good.

As always, Jersey Boy's was fire. The pizza is so good... This place honestly has some of the best pizza you will find (and not just in NW MT). The pizza is thin, crispy, tangy, and always cooked perfectly... It's no kidding as good as anything you'll find in Jersey or NYC. Plus, the food is really well priced (the lunch special is two slices, two drinks, runs $12 w/ tip). The pizzeria is clean, the staff is friendly/accommodating, and it's just a super chill place to come get high quality NYC-style pizza and cold MT craft beers. Be advised... The pizzeria recently moved (last year) so they're no longer in downtown Whitefish... They're now located on the outskirts of town on HWY 93 headed to Kalispell. It sucks they moved from downtown, but their new location is bigger and nicer. You will not be disappointed with Jersey Boy's.

We came here twice while I was visiting, love the atmosphere and food. Service though was not the greatest, we seemed to get attention at first but then eventually it became what I call "I just want to give you money". Server stopped coming by both times (different females) and just made the experience drag. Food was great! We split the bison burger and pizza the first time then opted into a salad the second time, love they have an option to add small or large chicken to salads and the prices are VERY reasonable for the add on.

Spending some time in Montana this time of year, I honestly wasn't expecting to find arugula this fresh and perfect. It was crisp, peppery, and tasted like it had just been picked. That alone impressed me. The elk tartare was easily my favorite dish of the night. It was incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and a great Montana twist on something you would expect to find at a high end restaurant in New York. I would come back for that dish alone. The steak was cooked perfectly, flavorful and juicy, with herb butter, asparagus, and roasted tomatoes. The pasta was rich, creamy, and covered with freshly grated cheese, but still balanced and not overly heavy. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and clearly prepared with a lot of attention to detail. Coming from New York, where we are spoiled with great Italian restaurants, I can say Abruzzo Kitchen is one of the best Italian meals I've had outside of New York. Great ingredients, creative dishes, generous portions, and a kitchen that clearly cares about what it puts on the plate. If you are in Montana and appreciate really good Italian food, put Abruzzo Kitchen on your list. I'll absolutely be back.

Food took a bit to come out, but was warned ahead of time. Waiter claim everything is made from scratch definitely taste like it. A little price-y but within normal range of good quality Italian place. 3.5/5 - Caesar Salad - Standard caesar salad, tasted fresh with some fresh slices of cheese on top. Wish there was more crutons maybe to add better crunch. Nothing to complain about, but nothing special to stand out. 4.5/5 - Carbonara Pizza - Perfectly cooked, with a raw egg on top. Creamy, crunchy, and very savory from the carbonara. Exactly as it states bacon is nice and crispy, with the cream finish to cut any greasiness from it. One of the better pizzas I have. Waiter also claim its their favorite and I can see why. 3/5 - Fennel Sausage Pizza - The extra cheese adds a great creaminess to the sauce. On top of it the sausage and bell pepper makes a great topping as it tasted fresh. Only complaint the bottom was very burnt. Usually I accept a certain level of burnt crust from this type of pizza, but all i tasted was burnt dough. Ruin more than half the pizza. 3.8/5 - Wild Boar Ragu - The noodles used tasted very fresh and homemade. Velvet-y and slides off the tongue and grabs all the sauce easily. The price was way higher than the rest, but flavor was more flat than expected. Very little game flavor from the wild boar which is a huge plus. For the price there are better flavors on the menu. 3.5/5 - Classic Bolognese - Despite the same plus from the pasta noodles, the sauce was another letdown. Very watery for a bolognese. Usually its thick meat sauce where the pasta can pick up the sauce with ease. However this one was very watery jsut slides off the pasta made it hard to eat it all without a spoon or something under neath to catch the sauce. Flavor was okay tasted meaty tomato sauce. The fresh, light grated cheese to put on top of the pizza was surprisingly the stand out. No more dried parmesan for me in the future. Packed every night, so make sure to make reservation if possible.
