It is a great atmosphere. We were here at the end of the summer, and it was full but not too noisy and very comfortable. Excellent wait staff was attentive and kind but not hovering. Lots of food options, and it was all very good. Reasonable pricing for kids food as well. read more

I standby by my original review that LCKB is the best restaurant in WF... This place is such a high quality kitchen (at fair and reasonable prices) and a chill place to have dinner and enjoy good craft beers. From the service to the food to the great local beer selection, LCKB does it all right - Must stop when visiting WF. read more

Came here for dinner (made a reservation in advance) on a Friday evening, and it was busy! The restaurant is decently big and has a fair amount of parking. We were seated within five minutes in a room with a view of the street. It was raining outside, and it felt nice and cozy inside the restaurant. Our server was very friendly and checked in on how we were doing regularly. We ordered the Tot-chos (half order to share among six people) and I also got a huckleberry soda for myself as well as the bison (classic) burger with sweet potato fries. For dessert, we shared two scoops of huckleberry ice cream (from Sweet Peaks), the bread pudding and the beignets. I loved the Tot-chos, and the half order was honestly a pretty big size already! The huckleberry soda was pretty sweet (I think it had 41 grams of sugar), but I don't regret trying it. The bison burger wasn't bad, it definitely tasted similar to beef, but it was a huge burger so I couldn't finish it. The sweet potatoes were also delicious. In terms of the dessert, I had gone to Sweet Peaks already and liked their huckleberry flavor a lot, so I was excited to see them on the menu. People at my table loved the bread pudding. I thought the beignets were not bad, but they weren't as good as the other desserts. read more

We had a lovely dinner here on our first night in Whitefish. We sat in a nice outdoor patio. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice--a little rustic, and comfortable. We had bison burgers, my partner got the Chair 8 (with jalapeño bacon and a smoked Gouda spread) and I got a standard cheeseburger with mushrooms and bacon. Both burgers were delicious. As were the side salads both with house made dressings. The only doing is that we asked for medium rate and the burgers were medium, no pink. Otherwise, it was excellent. read more

Visited Last Chair Kitchen and Bar on our last night in town and it was great! Staff were so nice we had to wait about 20 minutes for a group of 7 to be sat. We sat in a cute porch area but there is indoor and outdoor seating. We were pretty tired so no appetizers for us right to entrees. We ordered the Ribeye, burgers, and chicken and waffles! Ribeye was incredible, very tender and full of flavor. We went to an expensive hotel and had ribeye the night before and it had nothing on this one. Burger was good. Chicken and waffles homemade chicken strips with Gorgonzola cream and a balsamic waffle it was out of this world with flavor. This was a group favorite! Price point was good for this place Ribeye was around $40. read more

This place is adorable! Everything is great. Locally sourced and made with love and care. Everything we got was wonderful. The cherry balsamic dressing was a little aggressive for my taste it was pretty much just balsamic but the lemon poppyseed dressing is where it's at! Be prepared though, this is not the place to come if you are in a hurry. If you do not have reservations (which are only accepted by phone) be prepared for an hour or more wait. Let me start by saying, I do not mind waiting. At all. However, they don't let you sit at the bar at least they didn't when we were there so if you know you're going to have people waiting an hour it wouldn't be the worst idea to make it available to at least get a drink and sit at the picnic table. Overall great experience though! read more

We wandered into Last Chair on our first night in Kalispell. What a cute restaurant! We sat at a table with a pillow window seat. Our waiter was so kind to us. We came in about 45 minutes before closing and assured him we would be quick. He very sincerely kept reassuring us to take our time and truly didn't seem to mind when we were the last table in the restaurant. We ordered the Mezze Plate and Totchos as a starter. Both were amazing and we're so glad we ordered both to share. My husband and I both ordered the huckleberry burger as we started to learn huckleberry is a big Montana thing. This ended up being the best dinner we had in Kalispell and the best meal outside of the restaurant inside the airport. You definitely want to stop in while you're in the area! read more

Dinner on the way back to Eureka was in Whitefish at the Last Chair Kitchen where I had the huckleberry burger which was delicious!! One of our guys had a yak burrito and another had the bison ragú. The food was excellent, the place was unique and cute, and the service was good! They had seating indoors and outdoors. A lot of reservations were holding tables so you might want to call if you are coming in after 5! A great meal! read more

Visiting Kalispell and decided to give Last Chair a try. What a culinary experience! The plates were a combination of flavors. They aren't huge but super filling! May I add, DELICIOUS! We had two kids burgers and a Goody Bowl which was a success! Service was exceptional! Rebecca and Avery helped us out, advised us what to get and made sure everything away as expected. The ambiance felt nice. It was quite, clean, and easy to park. Great place! read more

Solid dining option in Whitefish. It's a few minutes outside downtown so not walking distance if you are staying near the downtown area. They have an eclectic mix of good in their menu. I wanted to try a local fish so I got the Walleye Sandwich. The fish was super tender and it was excellent. My young daughter also enjoyed it. My other half got the Indian pate. It was ok. If you have gotten great Indian food before something like this can't really compare. It was a nice mix of food in a single plate. I'd go back and I'd probably get the Walleye sandwich again. read more

Do not think twice about eating dinner here, everything was delicious!! I got the chicken and waffles and they were so die for. Tender juicy fried chicken, and the mix of sweet and savory with the waffle and Gorgonzola cream and maple balsamic worked so well together. We also got the special that night, NY strip with red chimichurri over shaved brussels, YUM! read more

The service was fabulous. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and professional. The food was good. I wasn't a huge fan of the pork chops I ordered but the rest of my group got the steelhead trout and said it was amazing. Because of the liquor laws they don't sell cocktails, which was disappointing but out of their control. I also thought they were very accommodating to my dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy free). read more

Great staff, eclectic menu that always pleases. In a town with quite a few good to great restaurants, The Last Chair is always a solid choice for locals or visitors. And then there's the tot-chos. A delicacy, and a true guilty pleasure if eaten by oneself. While they can be ordered for takeout, true gourmets know they're best eaten when served straight from the kitchen. read more

We ordered fried chicken sandwich and veg curry- both were very disappointing. The bread on the sandwich was stale and chicken quality wasn't good at all. Overall, the food didn't taste fresh and far below the expectations. read more

Absolutely fabulous meal here last month as we were getting ready to visit Glacier NP. The Steelhead Trout was fabulous. Called and got next day reservations for when they opened at 5. Glad we did as this place was packed by the time we left. Clearly many locals were there as staff seemed to know many of them (always a great sign when you are in a new spot). Very attentive yet not intrusive service. read more

Despite calling ahead for a reservation they had no record. The restaurant was freezing inside, most of the patrons had to wear their winter coats, especially in the sun room. Food was fine, not spectacular. Service relatively slow considering the restaurant was maybe half full. read more

We were seated in a comfy corner and our waitress was vey attentive. My husband had the bison burrito and I had the trout with risotto and broccolini. Both dishes were really good (except the broccolini was kind of tough and hard to eat). I would recommend calling for reservations as it got really busy and it is a smaller place. read more

Delicious restaurant that was walking distance from our Airbnb. We were able to get a reservation for a Thursday night so keep in mind their busyness. They had the most delicious drinks. We ordered a yummy appetizer called totchos which I make at home but they made theirs so so well. They have plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. They even added tofu for me to one of their dishes! My husband ordered the yellow curry with tofu and I got their Goody Bowl which had green French lentils, vegetables and I added tofu to it. I can't say enough nice things about this place. If you're vacationing in and around Glacier make sure you stop into Last Chair! read more

This was the best place that we got food from while we stayed in Whitefish over the summer. While the food was good, all the restaurants in Whitefish were unfortunately experiencing a labor shortage, so we were quoted long wait times for eating in. We were really hungry that night, so we opted for takeaway and were luckily able to get it within 20 minutes. My husband and I shared the mezze plate, which was delicious, but I found the combination of hummus and naan bread very odd. For my main, I got the goody bowl, which felt nutritious and less decadent than the mezze. The portion was quite big and I wasn't able to finish it in one sitting. The restaurant ambience is rustic and the service was pleasant. read more

This restaurant was recommended to us and we went a couple nights ago. The decor is nice and the restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. There are about three different rooms to dine in. I just had one of the best meals of my life at the last chair. Their dishes are incredibly novel, and the flavors are incredibly well worked out. For example: their grilled Caesar would be expected to be typical, but the dressing not only has a subtle mustard flavor, but probably includes just a trace of tahini. The dishes were perfectly cooked, and the combinations are well thought out. I cannot recommend this place enough. The menu is so eclectic, that I thought it would be a mishmash. Wrong. Every dish worked. A real success. The service was attentive but not overwhelming, read more

My wife and I were in town for a 3 day Glacier National Park visit. We thought we would try Last Chair the first night we were here. Upon arrival we thought it was kind of a hole in the walk joint but ventured in with no reservation. We were pleasantly greeted and told there was a 30 minute wait. We stayed and were seated in about 20 minutes. All I can say is that the food, service and ambiance were all 5's. We enjoyed it so much that we made reservations for our last night in town. OMG. One of the best meals we've ever had and certainly the best trout dish I've ever had! The tot-chos was a delicious and fun spin on a classic bar food app. The tots were crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. The black beans and salsa had just the right spice and the queso was dynamite! The Pad Thai was bursting with veggies and tofu and had a great modern, peanut flavor. The trout was cooked to perfection; it was moist and flaky. The crust topping was superb and the burre blanc sauce was heavenly. All in all, a hearty amazing meal after a long day of hiking! The place has a collection on dishes from across the world and it seems like they have traveled and learnt them. We got a Thai dish and an Indian butter chicken and two western dishes. This is a WOW restaurant. This is a place you would want to come back again and again. The atmosphere is mountain chalet, old school apres ski feeling, warm and local charming feeling The food was excellent! We loved everything- I had the ragu over spaghetti squash. Yum. My friend had the pad thai. Dessert beignets. Yum! Earlier in the evening we noticed a lot of families were here. They offer great local beer and a nice wine selection. Ask for Liv, short for Alivia. She offers outstanding customer service. We loved the connivence to our hotel and the mountain. Great place to stop by after a good day of skiing. Love their healthy comfort food!
