Pork chop with Asian slaw, rice and a weird stalk thing
    Randy D.

It's a little hard to find. No signs, I just wandered into the lodge lobby and looked around and then I saw the coffee bar so knew I was in the right place. Eventually found it and checked in with the hostess who sat me immediately Service was mixed, waitress came over right away with water and took my drink order. I asked for the house old fashioned. She brought the drink quickly, l imagine they're premixed. I ordered the onion soup and the pork chop with jasmine rice and chef's vegetables. Then I waited, and waited. 27 minutes for the soup. I know they bake onion soup and all but it took forever to get it. It was delicious though so whatever. Nice and beefy and sweet. Lots of onions and gooey cheese Pork chop was tasty as well. Porterhouse cut and came with a huckleberry sauce that was delightful Rice was good, but I'm not sure what the chef's vegetable was, a stalk with some leaves? Tasted ok but I left most of it Overall a good meal and would definitely return

I am a bit taken aback by the reviews for Logan's! I genuinely found the food to be excellent and the service very friendly. We were staying at the lodge and were exhausted after a long day of hiking. So glad that we could just enjoy a meal in the lobby of the hotel. We made reservations and were seated quickly upon arrival. I ordered the black cod and for starters, marveled at just how beautiful the presentation was! The fish was flakey and cooked just perfectly. It was served over the most divine sun dried tomato risotto along with asparagus. It all tasted amazing but I'll be dreaming about that risotto for months to come. My friend was really craving salmon and the chef prepared her a beautiful plate of items not even listed on the menu. She was delighted that they were able to be so accommodating. I not sure that anything could have been better. Clearly there is a staff shortage, but the servers managed well despite this and I recount nothing but a great experience. Definitely give Logan's a try. Especially if you are staying onsite.

Visiting Whitefish MT and Glacier National Park and decided to try Logan's for dinner. Plenty of parking with the lodge, restaurant, and golf course nearby. The restaurant is inside the lodge, and is decorated and looks just like a lodge in MT would look like to me. Stuffed animals on the walls and a giant chandelier in the lobby. We decided to dine on the patio. It was nicely shaded, and there was a nice cool breeze. Kyle was our server and he was fantastic. He was honest, refreshing, knew his stuff, was fast to take our order, check on us, refill, bring the food, clear plates, etc. He engaged us with some friendly stories about Glacier Natl Park and Yellowstone Natl park too. The service was excellent and so was the food. We tried the charcuterie board which had a selection of meats, cheeses, fruits, nuts, spreads, and other items. A nice little treat before dinner. I also tried the Caesar salad, it was pretty good, everything you would expect from a Caesar salad. For my main course I decided to try the duck, but I swapped the Risotto that came with it for a different Risotto on another menu item. I went with the sun dried tomato Risotto and it was great. The duck was cooked nicely, tasted wonderful, and the Asparagus was fresh and crispy. A very nice plate of food. We also tried the huckleberry ice cream, which is 3 large scoops, and the crème Brule. Both were delightful, hit the spot. That ice cream was smooth and creamy, definitely rich and flavorful. The manager came out to check on us, which is a nice touch. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely go back.

A MUST!!! Happened upon Herb & Omni and had fabulous drinks and an outstanding dinner. Bennett the…read morebartender was happy to explain everything. We started with a clearly number 1 cocktail served in a beehive glass--cool looking and a perfectly balanced/composed cocktail . We also had the seasonal shrub which was watermelon jalepeno and again delicious--not overly sweet with a nice kick. I did get to choose the heat level, and it didn't disappoint. For food , we started with chickpea fritters with a tamarind chutney. The presentation and taste were flavorful and creative. For our main, we both had the tempura golden enoki. I don't often eat vegetarian dishes out but glad not to miss this outstanding creation with a sticky rice waffle base, baby bok choi, black garlic XO tempura enoki and a green curry sauce . Certainly the best meal I have had this year and quite surprised to find it in Whitefish MT. Props to the chef !!!

We started off with the Alaskan Halibut Corndog, its more of a cooked more inside, and I kid you not I wish I ordered another of these it was so good! We also had the  Bunuelo which is shaped to mimic a pretzel that was filled with a glorious goat cheese mousse and kraut powder and a little jalapeno relish I have never in my life tasted anything like it, it was sensational. If you see this on the menu immediately order it. Next up was the Dungeness Crab Cake there is something to be said about a beautiful rendition of this dish with its flaky generous portions of crab, thoroughly enjoyed. The Grilled Korean Short Rib was an absolute favorite of mine as well, there is no way you cold get enough of it. For the mains we had the Pan Seared Duck Breast 4/5 came with the most beautiful cherry mole and corn succotash that was just exception, the balance on this speaks to the chefs talent. Now the issue here was actually the duck, one side of the breast just seemed very over and chewy while the other was perfect which is a shame but I am glad to have tried it. My kid thoroughly enjoyed Lamb Ragu with gnocchi and I honestly couldn't agree more and how well made the gnocchi was, pillow soft and utterly flavorful. But the real star of the night was Wagyu with tallow fried tater tot, chimichurri and brown butter carrots I would say though this dish commands a price, it was absolutely worth it, done exactly as ordered and every bite of each component was heavenly. For dessert we had the Cornbread dessert with miso caramel and burnt honey ice cream and it blew my mind, I am not a honey person but there's also a sense of trust you gain while eating that the kitchen knows best so dive in head first and it didn't disappoint we also had the Evening in Missoula Panna Cotta with rhubarb, orange blossom meringue and coconut boba the burst of flavors I kept getting and the delightful panna cotta was superb. Both the desserts were comped by the restaurant since even though we had a reservation we waited far too long of a time, it was close to 45min before we were seated because the previous customer had paid but were holding the table up. To me that's not something I can shrug off, I understand that they were full but 20min max I can excuse more than double is a hard swallow regardless of how great are host eventually was (Hi Dennis, you were awesome thank you!) and I appreciate the free deserts but overbooking might have been your issue here.
