We really loved Mod Pizza and have been using their service for about six years now. However, unfortunately, the last two times we ordered, two out of four pizzas were terrible. They were either burnt or had so little topping that it was disappointing. This time, we ordered everything extra, and just look at how "extra" it looks. Additionally, they didn't include the sauce we ordered for the crust. The pizza was delivered quickly, but we want to enjoy the pizza that we used to consider the best in our state.

My family has been coming to this MOD pizza since we moved to Issaquah ten years ago. Their pizza is always delicious and I love how convenient it is to go to MOD to grab a bite before the movies. The price has obviously gone up a crazy amount in the last ten years and we definitely feel like it isn't what we would consider cheap fast food anymore because it takes forever to get your pizza and each one is almost ten dollars. I love that they expanded to a bigger location, because the vibes in the new space are so immaculate, I just wished they kept it clean! Whenever I come here no matter if it's busy or not, the tables are disgusting with crumbs and dirty napkins everywhere. I've never gone to MOD and not had to wipe down m own table. During my most recent visit, the staff were so inundated with orders we had to wait twenty minutes in line with no one helping us. We were about third which meant the whole line was backed up. My mom contemplated leaving several times but my little sister and I were craving pizza so we stayed. The pizza as always was delicious. Especially this time the crust was cooked perfectly crispy and my mom was so impressed she even complimented the guy standing at the oven. We've gotten used to burned crusts at MOD so we loved how expertly our pizza was cooked this time around. We hope that continues! Thanks for all the great pizza these last ten years, looking forward to ten more years of when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's amore.

We LOVE this place! Nice lighting and always clean. The pizza is always fresh and chewy, coming straight from the pizza oven. The staff are always great and I appreciate that MOD doesn't charge more for extra toppings. Very affordable and don't forget to get yourself a No-Name-Cake. This is my 4-year olds favorite place!

Either the bowls have changed shape for salads or they have gotten smaller for the regular mid size. That being said- I used to have a hard time finishing the salad having leftovers but this time I finished it without any issues. The salad was good but if they didn't decrease the size of a to go salad container it's really a bummer to get less for more money. One thing I was impressed with was the paper fork- you heard me... the to go container had a rigid paper fork instead of plastic that isn't the type to be recycled. I appreciated this effort to change some of their business practices to be more eco friendly.

Haven't been to a MOD Pizza for a while, but my bf hasn't tried it before, so we decided to grab some after our workout. I was worried they would be skimpy on the toppings like at some other locations, but they loaded my pizza with plenty of toppings. I really like how you can add as many toppings as you like with no additional cost, and a big variety of toppings to choose from; my bf was excited about that, too. Staff was very friendly; great service. We really enjoyed our pizza.

My first experience for MOD pizza and I must say it was refreshing. I want in the late afternoon and the place wasn't very busy but looked like I had just missed the rush. Several tables were needing wiped down and the trash cans were overflowing. Maintenance aside the staff were very friendly and graciously took the time to help me navigate their menu and process. I was specifically drawn to MOD pizza because of their ingredient options. Everything was fresh and presented well. I ordered a 6" pesto sauce,mozerlla,sliced tomato, spinach,artichoke,roasted garlic,black olive, and anchovies. It was beautifully presented and surpassed my expectations. The flavors were amazing. My new favorite pizza place.

My daughter and I enjoyed a nice meal together here yesterday evening. She ordered a mini vegan non-dairy pizza with soy based meat crumbles and green peppers and I ordered a mod salad made to order and I was able to pick exactly what I wanted and honored my wish to go oil free and just have vinegar as a dressing. The service was top-notch as we felt that our dietary preferences were honored in a timely manner. I have been to other MOD Pizza locations where we have to wait a long time. This particular location was so beautifully decorated and had a great energy to it. The beautiful art work, and openness to its floor plan made it feel very welcoming.

Based on the evidence of tonight, this location has gone downhill. Slowest service speed I've ever seen at a MOD, the skimpiest toppings. Had to ask three times to get Gorgonzola on a Caspian. Ambience was fine.

Friday night during holiday season: quick service. Attentive servers. Friendly patrons. Chop salad was okay but I would not order it again: browned lettuce, 1 small piece of salami, 2 chickpeas, Tom's of dressing. Pizza was as expected but nothing special. Custom Mod Pizza, Cheese sticks, and Marion Berry Lemonade

Mod pizza is one of our favorite custom pizza places that gained popularity several years ago. Love that you can customize the pizza toppings, sauce, and cheese to your liking. They really do have a wide variety of sauce and topping options that all looked really fresh. Their cheesey garlic bread (same size as a regular mod with cheese, garlic, and herbs) is also really good to complement the pizza with a side of dipping sauce of your choice. One of my favorites drinks is their Marion Berry Lemonade. It is on the sweet side but I just fill the cup up with ice to help counterbalance the sweetness.

Ordered Maddy pizza and that's what got delivered.

Was my first visit here and when I walked in I was greeted with a chorus of hellos. Walked in and they asked if I had ever been here before, when I said no they explained the process. Pick anything you want, price never changes. They were very friendly and I placed my order. Got a beer, some garlic knots and my own pizza. Whole process took 10 minutes. Pizza was surprising good. Will definitely be back. read more

Friendly and busy place. Pizza was great. Servers were great about picking up plates so we didn't have to. We love being able to make our own pizza. I like they leave boxes out for my leftovers...don't need to ask for one. The berry lemonade is amazing!!! read more

Best. Idea. Ever. One flat rate for all the toppings you want?! WHAT?! Plus, the pizza is pretty darn delicious. It's wood fired and tastes great right out of the oven. They also have salads or what they call a Pizza Salad--a salad on top of crust. I have yet to try that, but trust me it's on the to-do list. I love making my own crazy combos, but they do have some pre-planned ideas in case you get overwhelmed. They serve beer--which is an absolute must when having pizza. Can't wait to go back. read more

Picked up a pizza today. Ordered online and that went well. Everyone working was excited and friendly. They have a great selection of bottled specialty sort of sodas as well as some interesting looking organic ice teas. Good price. Next time I go I will try the water to see how that pans out. read more

Great tasting pizza- the restaurant is set up for pizza similar to how chipotle is set up for mexican. You get in line, order your food and watch them make it with all fresh ingredients right in front of you. It is quite delish! Only downside is the place echoes sound so it can get pretty loud and if you sit at a table near the line - you get a lot people starring at you while you eat (which I hate). read more

Everyone who works here is super nice, and they're all really respectful and careful about my food allergies. I asked where they bought their roast garlic so I could buy a package for home, and she told me they cook it themselves and then gave me a container for free. It was incredibly kind, and I will certainly remain a customer for a long time. read more

Love the food but here to say that the Issaquah location is a joke on weekends. We stood in line on a Friday for 15 min. and the line continued out the door ! There were soooooo many kids there WITHOUT parents & it seems the thing to do it drop your kids off & go have drinks somewhere else ! It was so loud & out of control I was appalled nothing was done. I suggest a sign on the door saying "please don't leave children/teens unattended or you will be called to return & pick them up". We ordered our food to go but still had no place to sit while we waited. I loved the Sammamish location prior to this one and may start going back there. Will be sending MOD a complaint directly. Also, raised the price of their salads. For $7 I should get a happy ending with that ! Sorry MOD but seems you're all about getting bigger and making more $$ these days :( Disappointed... read more

What a wonderful place to get a pizza! Stopped there yesterday for lunch and the man making the pizza could not have been more help in making my pizza exactly like I wanted it. Hope about this? Gone here a few times since moving to Washington, I like the place nice clean and very fast Gas Stone stove pizza. This place is always busy but you still get your order withing 10 minutes of waiting. Pretty outstanding considering how many people come through here in a day. Only thing that sucks is the music is always cranked up really loud for a place you can sit and eat. You have to yell (kid you not) to hear someone. Wish I could still eat here being lactose intolerant and all. If you are gluten intolerant you can get a gluten free crust, which my mom says isn't terrible. read more

Have not tried the food yet but giving zero stars. I'm currently moving from self storage and ordered couple pizzas for the movers. I ordered on line and arrived half hour ago. Everyone yells hello and that's where the help ended. I told the guy I ordered online and he said ok so I sat down and waited...waited some more - all the while seeing two pizzas in boxes by the oven. I finally got up again (I am not a pushy person) and told someone else I had ordered online - she grabbed the two boxes that had been sitting there the entire time! I said, wow - I told the guy I had ordered online twenty minutes ago...here response "sorry about that". I then asked for the sodas I orders and she said "you can take them". I then asked for a bag which seemed to be an extreme request. I just moved into the area, love pizza, and will never step foot in there again. Maybe less worry about yelling "hello" when someone walks in and more focus on actually delivering a great experience ? read more

I feel that the pizza was excellent and the atmosphere was quaint. I loved the idea of the ability to choose my own pizza options. The overall experience was nice. I am leaving the poor review because my son told me not to complain out loud. I guess I wanted to be able to stand and anticipate the taste of my fresh pizza in the oven. But no I had to stand there watching my pizza makers shorts falling down off his ass. Just standing there knowing this guy just made my pizza with those same plastic gloves he has to pull his pants back up with was discouraging. Not to mention the table he lays out my pizza on before placing it in the box; appears to need a little cleaning. His coworkers were friendly and they seemed to have a good back and forth banter while working. I don't understand why one of them didn't tell him that at least 1/2 of his rear ends BLUE underwear showing was maybe distasteful in a food making/serving capacity. I'm just visiting here from down south; whereas I've had to speak out on this topic in a few instances. But seeing it here in a restaurant in the highlands was strange. Perhaps it's just me but I don't like seeing some young mans underwear while waiting on my food to come out of the oven. read more

Pizza is delicious! Customer service was amazing!! We had never been there before and the lady making our pizzas took the time to explain everything to us! Only complaint was their selectuon of beer on tap. If you dont enjoy IPAs be expected to pay extra for a bottled beer. Other than that we had a great experience. read more

Wonderful place to go. I had a turtled pepperoni pizza. If you don't know what that is its when you layer pepperoni over each other till it looks like the back of a turtle. It was amazing and can't wait to go back. read more

The pizza was fine. We go to MOD quite often and I've had better from different places. My crust was a little done and the 3 pizzas ahead of mine were all burnt. Service was terrible. My sister got her salad practically thrown at her and the employee went out of his way to present her milkshake at a different counter than she was standing at. You could feel the eye rolls from this employee when new customers walked through the door. If I returned and saw this employee I would walk back out. read more

If you have not tried MOD pizza before, this is definitely the location to give it a shot. Amazing service and fun/welcoming staff!! Brenna made me feel right at home! The second I came in she greeted me with such positive energy! She was very attentive to my order and brought such a great attitude into the entire store. Such great service at this location. My kids pizzas were slightly dark on the outside- when I picked up the order, they told me they'd already resubmitted the order free of charge in case the kids didn't like the dark crust. I didn't have to ask and no charge, just very considerate. Good pizza and a great value for a guy who likes to experiment with toppings. read more

The pizza is good I was just very disappointed in the way they handle orders. As soon as I got to the front of the line the lady says hold on I have to make 15 online orders. There is clearly a way to spread this out vs having me and the 10 people behind me wait an extra 15-20 min to eat because they procrastinated on their online orders. read more

Pizza was great, make up your own or go with their favourite combos Crust...nice, thin with great crispy edges. Salad...fresh, we shared a Caesar. High schoolers loved it and followed up with a cinnamon crispy. Friendly service. read more

We were traveling Easter Sunday and decided to try MOD pizza. I am so glad we did it was awesome. Being the first time there the staff was super nice and helpful. I love fact you can choose your own toppings on your pizza and salad. Give it try fun spot to eat. read more

DEPENDS WHO IS WORKING! I have come here and had great pizza. But sometimes things are not run very well and it affects the food! Today my family went there for lunch. We ordered 3 pizzas to go. My husband and I had ordered finishing sauces to put on the pizza. As I was taking he boxes my husband asked if he had remembered to put the sauce on his pizza (he had forgotten) I then asked if he had put the sauce on my pizza (he had also forgotten). AND THEN we get home and our 3rd pizza was the WRONG ONE! Get it together dude. And they were burnt :( such a bummer. read more

Love MOD but this location is awful. Unfortunately it's too close to my house to go to another. They screw up my pizza EVERY TIME. Pretty sure the employees are all just too stoned to figure it out. Tonight they had to make my pizza FOUR DIFFERENT TIMES. First time they messed up, then they made it well and dropped my pizza. They then remade it without asking me to repeat order. I get home, find out they made it wrong, AGAIN. Thankfully my husband went back to get it remade properly. This process was over and hour. Please, I'm begging you to get some new employees. read more

Awesome place! Tasty ingredients, great pizza, affordable price, amazing service. The guy working the boxing, plating, slicing, was working hard. Loved their service. I had to wait a couple extra mins for my online order because of an oven issue. I got many apologies and saw everyone step up their pace to make it right again. Thanks Mods for another great dinner! Keep up the great work! It's one of the few jems in Issaquah. read more

This is the greatest place for a pizza lover. Just order your pizza ANYWAY you want it. You can 'mod' it and they don't beat you up on extra topping charges. Then they put it in a big pizza oven and serve it with a milkshake. read more

I was super excited to order it and it was the best apple pie I've ever had in my entire life. Even my mom who doesn't normally like pie was totally obsessed with how yummy it was. I've been to their location in Mill Creek. Ambience-wise, all the MOD pizza joints are all the same. Upbeat and a decent place to eat in. The staff was pleasant and efficient. I had the cheese pizza each time with a drink and salad. Salad was ho hum, I mean how do you rate a plate of lettuce? My review is purely on the pizza and experience. First visit: it was ok. I'm a deep dish fan so I think it took me some time to get used to normal sized pizza again. I wasn't a fan Second visit: I liked it better. Now I understand why there is a fan base. I believe that if you work in a pizza place at list you should know the product you sale! I went to MOD couple of weeks ago and choose one of there specialty pizzas. The guy taking my order ask me if I wan to add a toping or two, I said yes, lets do that and add fresh mozzarella, the guy looked at me very strange and said: "There is a mozzarella on the pizza!" I repeated that I want the fresh one add it, and another gal said: "ALL OUR CHEESES ARE FFESH, I PROMISE!!!! " - How to respond on that? I paid and left. My first time at Mod Pizza was a delightful experience. The staff was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. The restaurant was spotless! The menu was perfect, offering a wide variety of options that I would expect from a pizza restaurant. The prices were fantastic, not too expensive at all, and the pizza sizes were just right for a satisfying lunch. I didn't need to order an oversized pizza.
