Getting to go in and custom make the pizza the way I like and then they put it in a brick oven. Unlimited toppings only cost 12 dollars I think, so i went for it. My mother got a meatlovers with garlic as the base. We both very much enjoyed our pizzas. You'd think with the amount of toppings I got on mine that it would have been too much but it wasn't. The crispness of the dough from the brick oven was the chef kiss on it. I will try again since we did delivery but man did our food stink and it has good reviews so maybe it was an off day. This is near our neighborhood so we wanted to give the food a shot and usually end up ordering from marco's but wanted to do delivery. Our door dasher did arrive really quickly and everything did come as it was supposed to. The food however was terrible and I'm going to have to blame myself for a part of it. I made a salad and this salad was so disgusting and so wretched that it was truly comical. I think it was just trying to combine a bunch of flavors that aren't supposed to go together but roasted garlic I don't think it's supposed to go on a salad and I completely had it on mine. We also ordered 2 pizzas and both of them were very thin crust which could be normal but there was so few toppings on it and so lackluster and greasy. One of my kids stomach was instantly upset because of all the grease. I personally did not try it because I was trying to eat healthy and was trying to eat my salad which I ended up partially throwing out. Portion wise I would say it's not terrible however I would not expect a large which I think is what we ordered to feed the amount of people that usually expect a large to feed. Despite my better judgement, I gave this location another chance. The staff continues to be mediocre at best. The pizza crust was cooked right, but the cheese was hardly melted. The worst of the worst continues to be the drink station. It reminds me the soda fountains at some last of the line gas station that you only stopped at because you were coasting on fumes. Empty tea, sloppily wiped down counters, and empty napkin holders. However, none of this stops the employees from refilling their drinks here without giving a thought to cleaning it up. read more

Mod pizza is our favorite pizza place but this one needs attention. The staff who waited on us were amazing but the manager on duty seemed to have zero care. The tables are sticky and someone spilled a drink that took awhile to get cleaned up. There was mud on the chairs from peoples boots. I'm not big on knocking places that have great food, but the state that a business keeps a restaurant says a lot to me. They have more than enough staff working, at any given time, to have someone either dedicated to keeping the dining area clean. Or, for someone to go through and wipe down tables every 15-20 minutes. It's a HUGE issue to see overflowing garbage cans, dirty tables, and disgusting floors. Mod pizza is suffering from a lack of consistency, in my opinion. You never know If you're getting toppings or not, it varies wildly. The Mod app is an epic fail. Every time they update it, my favorites and history disappear completely. This is beyond frustrating as my order is highly customized. I think a 3 star rating is generous despite all the agitation involved in the ordering process. As for the food, when they first opened, it was toppings galore on pizza and salads alike. Salads are still ok, but the last 3,pizzas have looked like a map of a devastated battlefield in the desert. So sad when pizza goes bad. read more

1st time using the MOD app - that went great. Ordered a mini mad dog and an entre salad. The salad lettuce (mainly the romaine) was browning and very much not appetizing to look at. This is like Subway for pizza. Except it's really good pizza! You come in and you're greeted by everyone behind the counter. They just shout out random "Hello!"s at you as you come in. Very cool. So the concept is you order a pizza with whatever you want on it. They have several pizzas you can choose from, but I always just order from the bar. The pizza comes in 3 sizes. Mini, MOD, and double (2 crusts). They'll ask if you've been there before, which is also cool., in case you need to know what you're doing. If you haven't picked a pizza on the menu board, just tell them what you want on your pizza and they put it in there for you. I do have to ask for more toppings, as they almost always skimp on them. They have actually made comments about how much I like pepperoni (they literally put 4 slices on it). But they will keep piling them on for you after their initial surprise and begrudeness ( yeah, I know it's not a real word). They have a dessert pizza and garlic bread also (on their mini crust). The dessert pizza comes with a chocolate, cinnamon, or strawberry dip. They have beer on tap, or you can choose sodas or teas or lemonade. They also have bottled drinks to choose from. After they pile on the toppings the pizza is whisked away into a hot artisan oven where someone is moving it around for about 5 mins. They'll call your name to come get your pies and you enjoy! I want to preface this by saying that I have been a server in the food industry for over five years. That being said, the service that my family and I received from MOD Pizza was lacking, and that's being generous. So cozy up, kids, because it's story time. Our nightmarish tale begins with placing an online order at around 5:50 pm, for a pick-up time of 8:00 pm. We left the house to run some errands and arrived at MOD to pick up our order at 8:00. The employees seemed to have no knowledge of our online order, but then they let us know that our order was being put in at that very moment. It's annoying, but I understand that restaurants get busy, and gave them the benefit of the doubt. They told us it would only be a "couple more minutes" so we moseyed back to our car to wait, since my five-year-old was getting tired and restless. Ten minutes later, my husband goes back in to check on the status of our order. Still not finished. He waits another ten minutes inside, and they hand him one of our two pizzas. My husband had to remind them of our other items: our daughter's pizza, 3 milkshakes, and garlic strips, which they didn't have ready at all. All the while, none of the employees seemed to have any semblance of organization and had a total apathetic attitude regarding service. Eventually, they gave him all of our items that we had already paid full price for and didn't even offer an apology for our wait and their incompetence. Happy to finally have our food, we drive home and open our boxes. All of our food items were cold, as if they had been sitting for a while. My daughter only ate one bite of her pizza before pushing it away. My and my husband's pizza was completely missing toppings and sauces as well. At this point, I decided to call (something I have *never* done in my entire life) MOD Pizza and ask for a manager. Apparently, the MOD in MOD Pizza doesn't stand for Manager On Duty. But, I did get a "Captain". The Captain told me he could take my name and let a manager know in the morning, and then offered a free pizza next time we come in. We won't be coming in again, even with the half-hearted offer of a free pizza. We wasted $40 on this place, with nothing to show for it except cold, tasteless food, and a huge heaping helping of disappointment. What's the point of having an online ordering system if it's carried out so inefficiently and carelessly? I don't blame any of the employees there (although they could use a lesson in customer service and empathy) but there is a clear lack of management and organization. read more

Immediately walking in the door my father and I were greeted with a friendly welcome by the staff and asked if you've been to MOD and know the ordering process. It is assembly line ordering, and you can either go with one of their speciality pizzas or create your own (you can add any extra toppings to their specialty pizzas as well). Being on a plant-based diet I was pleased to hear they had dairy-free cheese! There are three size pizzas, Mini, Mod, and Mega. Each size pizza has a set price ($4.87, $7.87, $10.87 respectively) regardless of what toppings you add! They also offer gluten free crust, salads, milkshakes, and more! Their house made teas are to die for! The pizza was delicious and only made better by the clean and welcoming atmosphere.
