I was in the mood for pizza one evening and saw Bulldogs is one of the highest rated pizza spots in town. They also have a small dine in area, so even better. They have these old style booths which is not common for a mostly take out and delivery type place. I looked over the avg size menu and found the specialty pizzas which are mostly your regular pizzas at any pizza place. They're not named anything fancy either. I settled on the meat lovers, hand tossed, which came recommended. The man at the register said this was one of the most popular ones. It comes to my table 15 mins later and it's piping hot. There is no shortage of cheese thankfully....which is my biggest complaint with many pizza places these days. It's also not shy on the amount of toppings too. While visually, it looks simar to many other meat lovers out there, it does taste better than your national chains. The bread is a little more soft and spongy I think. When it got a little cooler toward room temp, it wasn't all that great anymore. Overall, Bulldogs is decent, but i am still on the hunt for the best pizza in the woodlands. read more

Why 4 stars? Because stuffed pizza is always a good time. --- --- --- I can't even tell you how long I've had Bulldogs Pizza on my list. I saw a picture or two of a stuffed pizza and I haven't been able to get it out of my mind since. But for a million various reasons, it's taken me way too long to actually visit. Until now. I actually placed the online pickup order when we were about 30 minutes away, with a note saying "we will be dining in". This was an excellent idea from my wife which really timed up perfectly. We arrived, and they brought us our food within seconds. We were the only people in here the whole time we ate, so we had the place to ourselves. The stuffed pizza was just a tad different than a typical Chicago stuffed pizza. It's like there was just an additional layer of crust on top of the pizza, rather than it being totally encased by dough with sauce on top of it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about the difference - merely just pointing it out. In addition to the stuffed pie, we just ordered a basic pepperoni pizza for our son and some garlic knots. I thought all of it was a perfectly fine 4-stars. In reality, this is probably a really good option if you're 10-ish minutes away, but I wouldn't say it's worth a regular journey for us (35-ish minutes away). But I'm glad we finally got to try a place that I wanted to come to forever! read more

New to the area and we needed a quick place to stop for dinner. We did order take-away. We pass bulldogs quite often and today's the day to check it out. The place is small but cool. I love the decor and really amazed how massive the bulldog plate size is. Luckily it wasn't what we ordered. It could definitely feed loads of growing appetite. We got the pizzas we wanted and amazingly love it! It was delicious and the crust of the stuffed pizza is crispy and delicious! We will definitely be ordering here more often for pizza! Good Pizza with fresh toppings. Small place but a nice clean place to enjoy a pizza. They do hand toss their own dough. I like my crust more risen than this one but it is ok. We placed a lunch order for about 9 people at work today. Everything was GREAT and everyone was really happy! I had the Wyatt Earp corndogie (my current fave) and those delicious fries but the Sundance was also really popular both as a dog and corndogie. I even heard "This is the best BLT I've ever had!". Delivery went off without a hitch and we aren't really easy to find. We shared some funnel cakes and had each of the toppings and everyone really enjoyed trying them all! My son and I stopped in and tried this place out for the first time. The owner (just assuming) was very polite and quick to get our order. Even though you order at a counter, he swung out to the dining room and checked on every customer offering to bring condiments so you wouldn't have to get up. We tried the taco pizza, and it was HUGE! We will be back to try other things but alone the food and customer service was well worth the visit! read more

We are dining here for the first time today. Not only is the owner amazing the pizza was absolutely the best pizza I've had. It came hot out the oven we were able to give suggestions on what we would like to eat. The establishment was was clean and very comfortable and relaxing. The toppings were very plentiful. We got the All the meats pizza, cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, and the supreme. All wonderful in taste. I ordered the supreme pizza from here. It had a similar taste to Totino's pizza. It was doused with a tangy tomato sauce; topped with fresh toppings and decent tasting cheese. Personally I think the food is fantastic. Customer service on the other hand can be great and bad, I've ordered here a handful of times but I will say I was very let down with a phone called order that we tried to place here. Just the tone in the voice wasn't my favorite. I rather go to bed hungry than give my money to a place that has a attitude about placing a deliver order. I would have been happy just to drive over and pick it up, but just the Attitude of the individual on the other end of the phone was so dry which I'm sure was the owner I basically just told my wife to hang up and let's find a new location closer to us since delivery is such a issue. Customer service is horrible. If you order online for pickup, be sure to add ten minutes to their the given quote. I witnessed 2 different curbside exchanges (these weren't delivery drivers) before calling to request the same only to be told they don't do curbside. On the same call I was told to come in that my food was ready. It wasn't. On to the pizza. It's unremarkable other than the fact it tastes slightly better than a chain pizza restaurant. It's dry and nearly void of flavor with a meager portion of toppings. The 2 kickers are that no one wore a mask even though they did have them on sale, and that this restaurant has replaced one that was superior to it in every way. read more

My husband and I decided to give this neighborhood pizza joint a shot one Friday night. Although there was quite a bit of lag on their website, I was able to order 2 medium pizzas on their website for pickup. When I arrived there at the promised pick up time, I saw that there was curbside service. So we called and asked for the pizzas to be brought out to our car. We were rudely told that curbside isn't offered even though we just saw it occur with a customer parked right next to us. The employee told us to just come in for our pizza in an exasperated tone, when we did, the pizza was not ready, nor were we told an estimate of when it would be ready. It took an additional 10 minutes before we received our order. Customer service is lacking, to put it mildly. We were not the only ones waiting on a pizza. There were at least 3 other customers waiting for their orders inside the restaurant in pretty close quarters. This is not the kind of environment I want to be in at a time like this. It's impossible to social distance when there's no room to allow for that to happen. The biggest dealbreaker of all, was that none of the employees (from order takers, drivers, cooks) wore masks. Needless to say, we won't be returning for hygiene reasons alone. Now for the taste of the pizzas itself, it was decent. We ordered a meat lovers and they did not skimp on the meat. The crust was quite chewy, I prefer crispy. Overall, the pizza was unmemorable with bad service and we will stick with our usual pizza joint when we are in this area. read more

Sunday lunch there was very enjoyable! Our personal pizzas, pizza rolls, pasta, and sandwich all were tasty and satisfying! When we were there, there was only one person available to work the register and make the food, so service wasn't fast.
