I asked the girl at the counter 4 times to have kitchen make crispy she waited until they had cut the pizza to tell them they did offer me a free drink to go with the horrible pizza I am guessing it's to was the bad taste of your mouth. Excellent pizza. Outstanding service. This is definitely NY-style, but they overdid it with my pie. The crust was so thin that I had to use my fingers to scrape pepperoni and mushrooms from my plate. Don't get me wrong ... everything was delicious (sauce is wonderful here). I just prefer to fold it and eat it like it's done at other NY-style pizza joints. I've had their pepperoni pizza. It was okay/good but not memorable. I won't be back and wouldn't recommend just because their are two other pizza places I love that cost less. I'm also obsessed with crust and cheese so I can be picky. Service was meh so that didn't help. read more

I've been coming here since 2008. This is my favorite pizza place in Houston. Everything is made to order & taste fresh. I always get the same thing, cheese or pepperoni pizza. This time I tried their Canadian bacon slice. The bacon was so good I ended up picking all of it off & eating it before I actually was able to eat my slice. They have gotten friendlier with their customer service through out the years as well. They're Italian so I think they didn't understand that sometimes it's ok to smile/be nice. Good options on the menu. We ordered a medium supreme and salad. It was nice that they did not charge to make a substitution on the pizza (Italian sausage instead of ground beef). The flavors were good. Though I was disappointed in the crust, it did not add flavor or texture to the pizza and it was quite soggy and greasy. I've eaten Brother's for at least 30 years. It's pretty good thin pizza though not as stretchy and NY style as it used to be. I personally would stick with the pizza only as the other items aren't as well seasoned though fresh. My kid enjoyed it and gave them a 9 out of 10. The cheesecake was too sweet even without the sauce and had a bit of an artifical taste to it; it was one of the worst I've ever had at a restaurant. Service was good. I used to LOVE brothers pizza growing up, and a month or so ago decided to order some pizza, salad, and chicken wings. The order was delivered without the salad, and the driver had to turn around, get salad, and come back. That time I ordered the supreme and it was soggy to no end. We decided to give them another try a few weeks later, but this time ordered peperoni pizza- nothing else. This pizza was a million times better, I guess bc it didn't have veggies on it to sog it up. We pulled in for lunch last week, on or about 8/22, and ordered a large half cheese half pepperoni. The lady at the counter was functional but not at all friendly. Not nasty, but far from welcoming. I don't think she even greeted us as we approached the counter. As we turned to get our drinks, she handed our order back to the cook, a man who looked very unhappy and harried. Sure, he was busy with the lunchtime crowd, which wasn't that big, by the way, and AT WORK. I get that. But something seemed amiss. Our pizza was delivered to our table in an appropriate amount of time. Looking it over, which was rather difficult to do since it was to be my lunch, all I could notice was all the grease floating on top of the pepp half. Then I noticed how pale and unappetizing the cheese half looked. Very carelessly done. I don't think my kids cared too much, but they did find a way to remove some of the grease. I was very hungry and went ahead and ate and was very disappointed in the entire visit. I haven't seen a pizza that poorly constructed since back in the day when frozen pizzas first came out. I've made pizza far superior to this sample in my own kitchen. It looked like it was made by a very unhappy cook. I don't know what the problem is here because I have had a decent pizza here before. I started going to this location when I bought my house 11 years ago after going to Blockbuster video. Lol Ironically, I used to go to the location in Arizona and had amazing experiences there learning it was the same place. I came to Houston and the owner told me to ask for his brother. I ordered pizza on the phone and got it delivered tonight. Took 1 hour 40 mins to deliver a pizza and a antipasto. I live 5 mins away from the pizza place. Geez. Pizza was not even hot when it arrived. I have to pop it back into the oven to warm it up again. -Antipasto- with Italian dressing. I like the salad because its not a bag salad. Fresh ingredients. -Pizza- I get half pepperoni, black olives, and mushrooms. Other half green pepper, mushrooms, and tomatoes. Pizza is chewy and gooey. Crust is thin. I ask to put in the oven a little longer. The only problem I have is the mushroom and the delivery time. The mushrooms are chewy & rubbery definitely canned mushrooms. Was in the mood for pizza so I stopped in to get a extra large pie to go. When I got home I was shocked to find this "this thing" in the box. The crust was undercooked and still gummy. The imitation cheese was clumpy and separating and parts of the pie was not even cut. This tells me whoever made this pie knew it was undercooked and they were unable to cut it. Talk about a disgusting inedible mess. I might as well have thrown $20 into the trash because that's where this pie ended up in the trash! If I could have posted this without any stars I sure would have. Save your money and go elsewhere.
