It's the weekend ... almost. And what better way to start my cheat weekend. Or meal. Or whatever it's supposed to be. Got the 8 corner cupped pepperoni with turbo crust. It's essentially two small pizzas each cut into 4's thereby making 8 corners. And after a week of watching my carbs it was exactly what the doctor (didn't) order. I love deep dish. Dominos, Pizza Hut, little Caesar's, all do a pretty darn good deep dish. And Jet's was just as good. It was almost ready when I got there but a couple minutes ahead of the designated ready time. Staff was nice and busy. There's a few tables where you can eat in if you really want. I tried to take a bite right after it came out of the oven but the cheese top kept sliding off so I waited until I drove home and the cheese had coagulated enough to avoid slippage. There's a $5 coupon online for this particular type of pizza or 15% off (entire order I believe) for text orders. My Capone app tried various coupons but none seemed to work. It's pricy. And for that reason I'd probably just stick to Dominos which is closer and half the price. But I can understand the hype and am glad I went to try it. read more

If you tired of the other pizza chains in your area, then jets pizza is perfect. Detroit style pizza is what they advertised, and it didn't disappoint. The pizza was very fulfilling and this coming from someone typically buys 2 boxes of pizza from the chain placed for a family of 2 with leftovers for next day. I ordered 2 pizzas, a 4 corner specialty (3 pepperoni) and a thin crust. I have a coupon for a free 4 corner, 1 topping pizza. The coupon states that additional toppings are extra but it excludes nothing. I expected to be charged for the 2 additional toppings. Instead, they refused to honor the coupon because it was a specialty pizza. The manager stood by her decision to not honor the coupon even though no pizzas were excluded in the coupon. I've never had Detroit style pizza before so if you're from Michigan I suggest a grain of salt as I've nothing to compare to. Now NY style pizza, that's a whole other story. I've given up trying to find the pizza of my childhood but am always down to try a new style. Jet's is deep dish but doesn't pretend to be Chicago born. They are Detroit and proud and should be. This was some good stuff. After trying a pepperoni pie and a meat lover's version I can see why a square pizza with lots of corners is in demand. Both pizzas had a turbo crust resonating garlic, Parmesan and butter. The crunch was oh so good and satisfying. I absolutely love deep dish pizza and so I feel very grateful that I was able to find some close to where we are now. I got one cheese pizza and one veggie one, with a turbo crust, but I have to suggest to get the ranch, its so good! The crust and cheese is so good. So living in the IO are it's like great another pizza place. So many of the others have been average at best and below. I got online and made an account, web site still has some kinks in it but was able to get a pizza ordered pretty quick. Now what do you judge a pizza place on?? Me an extra cheese double pepperoni pizza. Ordered the large and pizza was at my door in less than the estimated time which was great! Pizza had some weight to and smelled delish. Opened the box and the buttery crispy crust looked amazing, plenty of cheese and pepperoni. It was hot and held up when I took a slice out crust was the perfect thickness for my liking. Next was the the ultimate crunch of the edge of the crust and the topping ratio was perfect and the sauce was tangy and delicious. Definitely found our local fav!!! Will get a picture next time! First, let me say the pizza crust on the bottom is the perfect toast. Secondly, I highly recommend the Jet's 10. My third like is that they have single squares. I have young ones over occasionally and I can order exactly the number they need and how they want it. My first delivery order they mistakenly gave me the wrong salad and promised to credit me. When I went in to pick up today and asked for my credit they had it noted. I appreciate quality food and customer service. This is now my go to pizza place. read more

I have read a lot of good things in the reviews for Jet Pizza so i decided to try out their cauliflower crust pizza. They only come in a small size which is fine since i can get mine with the typing i like and get my wife's with the toppings she likes. As far as the food goes, my wife and i both loved our pizzas, they were cooked perfectly and all the ingredients were delicious. When i entered the door, both employees were very friendly with a big hello and the young lady that brought me my pizzas was genuinely a pleasure to interact with. Jet's Pizza sells big promises but delivers... Well, pizza. They say their Detroit style pizza is not deep dish pizza but only semi-deep. While this may be true but it's still too deep for me. There's a lot of bread beneath those toppings. Ordering the hand tossed still has way too much dough for me. Stepping down to "thin crust" yields thin bread versus crust. Not much flavor and not much bite. They offer a free option to "flavorize" your crust. This is another big promise that only disappoints me. With more dough you get more "flavorize" flavor, but you have to deal with all that extra dough. Not worth it . They say they cut all the vegetables fresh daily. I assume this is true for the mushrooms but quite honestly they didn't seem like canned mushrooms. But all of the veggie toppings we had were quite delicious and obviously fresh. The meat selection may seem average but their sizing of the cuts and the quality of the meats are excellent. Very good pepperoni and Italian sausage! Their wings were pretty good. We had the spicy and also the sweet red chili. Not discount, but what the heck. They offer a loyalty program. You get a fixed number of points for any purchase over a certain dollar amount. And you only get one allotment of award points per day. Quite stingy if you ask me. We went once to try it out. We went again to try to improve the experience based on what we learned the first time. Overall, the pizza is okay. But there's little reason for me to go a third time. read more

I will say Detroit style was my least favorite but that was due to Little Cesars. This place has GREAT pizza and makes me wished I would have found a great pizza place in Detroit when I lived there.
