Some of the best NY pizza around. I'm part Italian, wife is from NJ and so we are both fairly critical of pizza. Brooklyn has the dough, the sauce and all of the ingredients on point. Tangy sauce, crust is cooked properly and the right thickness, cheese is browned and bubbly, meats and veggies are of good quality. Our go-to pizza lately has been a large well done, with fresh garlic, basil, red onion and pepperoni (sometimes we'll add a second meat) and it's just a flavor explosion in da mouf. Such simple ingredients and just tastes amazing. It ALMOST doesn't need any hot sauce added to it, but I'll still jazz it up with a little sauce here and there. We just want to say thank you for being open during this power outage on day 5 in Houston after Hurricane Beryl. We also understand there is limited supplies due to power outages. We were able to order a pepperoni pizza. It came out in the perfect amount of time. The pizza is greasy, but I expect that from pepperoni and I actually like that . The sauce tasted very good. We are thinking about coming back and trying the spaghetti because we enjoyed the sauce so much. Hopefully it will be the same sauce and just as flavorful. The pizza reminds me of the pizza I would get from this department store downtown as a kid called Woolworth. They had some of the best pizza. This pizza really reminds me of Van. Disgusting pizza. If I could give zero stars I would. Zero flavor, crust was awful, Mozzarella sticks were laughable, hardly any breading and no cheese pull. I was advised that all of the ingredients are shipped in from New York and if you've ever had a slice from New York, you would undoubtedly know that was true. Brooklyn Pizzeria is the most authentic NYE style pizza on the Northside of Houston and you all must try it. After a long night of football practice, my kids wanted pizza and I knew this spot was on our way home and made a stop without ordering ahead. I was tired and hungry and I ordered a large pizza and wings but one of the staff members suggested I get one of their meal deals with an XL pizza for only about $2 more, I went ahead and said sure and thanked him for the suggestion. Ordered half of it Pepperoni and the other half Brooklyn favorite with all the condiments it comes with, buffalo wings and a 2-liter of Dr.Pepper (Don't judge me). I was told it would take about 15 minutes after I paid and informed them that I will wait in my car and come back in 15. Well it didn't take 15 minutes and that is when I realized the man from the counter was kind enough to bring me my order outside. Might seem like such a small gesture to please a customer but it meant a lot to me since I was already tired and anxiously waiting to get home, grub, and sleep. We finally got home and I cannot forget the look on my kids faces! They knew the pizza was huge but when you open it up and realize the huge pie slices, you can't help but to drop your jaw at how big they were. We all grabbed a slice and some wings with our Dr.P and wow!! The kids loved every bit! Perfect amount of tomato paste, melted cheese and perfectly constructed dough to hold onto the pizza's ingredients despite their large size. It's been a week since we ordered pizza from there and we still cannot stop thinking about it. We were visiting and this was next door to a place we had just stopped by, we decided to dine in, and during these times I think business should enforce safety for both their staff and their clients, the cashier that helped us wasn't wearing the mask properly, I understand is uncomfortable for some people to wear a mask all day, but if you are going to take care of your customer they need to wear the mask correctly at least while they are talking to you and delivering the food to the table. The pizza came in faster than the appetizer and the size is pretty good if you like thin crust then this pizza is for you, but I won't recommend anyone to order the meatball I'm not sure if they make them at home but if they do they use a weird meat, it doesn't have the texture of ground meat, it has that texture of clump meat like its microwavable food. read more

I throw my hat into the ring for these guys pizza. Aside from Tony's Pizza, also on Louetta, these guys saddled right into my top 3 for the area. Their pizza has fresh ingredients/toppings and their lunch specials are legit. I saw a kid peddling his bike home with a pizza under his arm. Nice! Their chicken pasta Alfredo was reasonable and pretty decent for the price. On the bad side was their Philly Cheesesteak. Total miss for me. We've had this place 3 times in 6 days. That's how awesome it is. Whether you get the pizza, pasta, wings, cannoli, everything we've tried has been perfect. Originally Brooklyn was delivered by a rep to my office, and I wasn't there to enjoy it. But a coworker told me about it and I told my family, and we tried it 2 days later. Safe to say we've found our new favorite pizza/Italian joint. Much better food/price/quality than any other chain or mom and pop place we've tried before. read more

The food is terrible. My husband ordered the chicken parm, my daughter ordered a pineapple slice, and I ordered a slice with pepperoni and fresh garlic. Pros: food was served hot Cons: Pizza was greasy. The pineapples were right out the can and placed on the pizza. They used minced garlic instead of fresh garlic, and the chicken parm had no taste. The sauce tasted like tomato paste and was EXTRA cheesy. Served was friendly and prompt. Solid all around. My wife and I moved from NY to Houston and we miss a good NY pizza. We went all in and ordered pizza, chicken parm dinner and baked ziti. Chicken parm was on point! The spaghetti that came with it was delicious and had more flavor than I have ever had with a side spaghetti. Ziti was good, and fresh. Wife said it needed more sauce but was good and would get again (with extra sauce). The pizza was a Hawaiian medium and was delicious. The delivery notice after ordering said 30-40 minutes, and the text showing delivery on its way was right at 30 minutes. However, it took 9 minutes from that text to delivery, and my subdivision is literally right around the corner - still, it met the 40 minute notice originally given. Since I ordered around 6pm, during dinner hours, I'm surprised it wasn't longer. So, kudos for that. Delivery: ding ding! Great. Since I ordered the cauliflower crust veggie pizza, I was hoping to get a pizza loaded with veggies, not cheese. Unfortunately, it was like a layer of cheese, veggies on top of that, and then even more cheese. It was way too much cheese for a medium sized veggie pizza. Quality pizza toppings: buzzer wah wah wah. I guess I'm spoiled with places like Crust and My Pizzaria that has big pieces of veggies and lots of them. I needed delivery though and after credit card theft problems with Grubhub and DoorDash I won't do delivery from anyone using them. The Pizza crust? Ding ding! Great! Cheese on pizza? Buzzer - wah wah wah. It was one of the saltiest cheese I've had in a long time - seemed like they used a lot of cheap cheese to compensate for flavor, and if there was any sauce, it was so lite it wasn't tasted or the cheese overpowered it. I even picked a LOT of the cheese off - it was just way too much. I have to say, if you really like lots of salty cheese you'd like this. As for spices, either they forgot to use some good Italian herbs or it was buried beneath the taste of the salty cheese. I enjoyed the cauliflower crust immensely. If they make their own, they did a great job (I couldn't find any info on how much their crust is made up of cauliflower vs a blend with flour). But as far as the pizza goes, maybe some people like it this way, but I'm looking for a veggie pizza that has a good blend of sauce, herbs, toppings, and cheese that ties it all together. For me, I'll pass and try another place next time. 4 stars for crust, delivery, and a good but not great pizza (my opinion)- it's just not my type of pizza, but I didn't reduce stars bc of it. The missing star is purely for the overwhelming use of cheese and the lack of sauce and herbs that gives a pizza that "pizza taste" I was craving. I usually rave a out this Pizzeria! Make no mistake the food is on point!! We tried the Philly cheese steak sandwich and OMG it was DELICIOUS! That will most definitely happen again! My calzone was good, very good but I requested double pepperoni, pineapple and Canadian bacon. I received a triple mozzarella calzone with 4 slices of pepperoni no Canadian bacon and a ton of pineapple. The order a week before we ordered a double pepperoni pizza meal deal and the pizza had the usual amount of pepperoni wich was disappointing. I have ordered from Brooklyn Pizza in the past and it is one of the best NY pizzas around. However on 3/16/24 I ordered at 6:50 pm and told they charge $4.99 for delivery, and it would be 1 hour. At 8:30 pm the driver showed up, pizza was not in a pizza bag, pizza was cold, it was overcooked as it was black on the bottom , all after being half hour late. Also asked driver who gets the delivery fee, he told me it goes to Brooklyn Pizza and not the driver. I was very disappointed in a 2 topping large pizza for $30 that was extremely late. read more
