Tried to say they'd have to get the money back from Door dash! I was like but I order from you and you ran it through my bank! Said I could come in and get one but I'd still have to pay again but no offer to reimburse me the $36.00 for the pizza and salad I didn't get! The messages from door dash were very odd like spam! So I've tried this place before and decided one day, it's time to give it another shot. I hate having to give it two stars because everyone there is so freaking nice. The staff is great, polite, inviting, friendly, etc. But the pizzas? They're just bland, sadly. Followed the directions to the T, they came out great and looks damn good. But they didn't taste how they looked. I just wasn't getting any pizza flavor you're used to. Maybe it was the sauce? I can't quite put a finger on it. If I could give zero stars I would. I have to admit I once loved coming here. We have ordered 2 pizzas every Tuesday for over two years now. Lately I have noticed the decline in customer service. I call in my order every time. The last few times I went the pizzas were not done and I had to wait even tho I called it in and timed it pretty well with what they told me.. Giving them the benefit of the doubt on my last order to them I waited the full 30 minutes before I showed up. This time they didn't even have my order. I was shocked since I called it in and was told it would be 20-30 minutes. As I stood there and asked all 5 of them standing there "who took my order and didn't turn it in" nothing... just blank stares. One finally spoke up and tried to ask if I called the wrong store. I told them, no it's programmed in my phone. So she told me they can make my pizza quickly as they were not busy and charged me. Again no customer service. At that point a discount? Something? Needless to say that was my last order. Long time customer gone. Kids are running that store in the evening with no oversight apparently. Bottom line it's a shame. The pizza is delicious but not having my order is the last straw. We will find a new take out place for our Tuesday nights. read more

This place needs to get everyone on the same page. I called and was told the crust less pizza would be $10 on Tuesday's. When I arrived "Mike" the so-called manager said that it would be $12 because it's a medium pizza and that only large pizzas are $10. So I said well give me a large. He went on to further explain that crustless is only medium. Then he went on to explain a medium and large like I didn't understand the difference between the 2. Dude, I'm college educated. I'm definitely a fan! I love the Take & Bake Concept, especially with good coupons. You can take home a couple of pizzas, and cook them up over time... I'm not one who likes reheated pizza or heaven forbid, COLD pizza! haha Their cheesy bread, cinnamon bread, and S'mores pizza is heavenly as well.. You can call your pizza in if you're in a hurry, and then pick it up in 10-15 minutes, or you can order when you get there and watch them make it! Love this place! Ingredients are so fresh and employees are so nice! I always get the Cowboy Delite. It's the art of Pizza. I usually bake mine on the try they provide for about 6 minutes then slide it off to bake directly on the rack for the remainder for a crispier crust. I am hooked. read more

Have bought pizza from this establishment a couple of times and each time have been impressed with the quality of the pizza and customer service. The smell of fresh dough and ingredients greet you when you first enter the store. You go up to the cashier and let them know what pizza you would like and off they go to make it in front of your eyes, after which you take it home and bake it yourself for a perfect pizza. I always get the veggie delite thin crust with pepperoni (You can add other toppings to their offerings if you so desire). We love take & bake-pretty much don't get pizza anywhere else. You just can't beat the price, and once my husband gets a hold of it and doctors it up at home, you can't beat the taste either. While I'm a huge fan of Chicago-style pies, I'm also a sucker for a good crispy thin crust. Papa Murphy's delivers (not literally) such a crust, right out of our oven. Since they are generally quick with the prep, it's just as fast as Domino's et al, even including the cooking time at home. And, as mentioned by other reviewers, you can get a one-topping pizza for $5 and add to your heart's content at home (we convert cheese pizzas to margherita pizzas with ingredients from our garden). Fresh ingredients, better taste -- put down the $5 Little Caesar's special and move over to Papa M's. Friendly staff at this location as well. We still enjoy other pizza in this area (see Locatelli's), but Papa Murphy's is a family favorite. read more

I admire the take and bake concept. Everything is fresh and made right in front of you. We got a half and half pizza with a regular crust. The young man behind the counter was very nice and gave us lots of options to choose from. We got home and baked our za. It was good, but not remarkable. It was fresh and I appreciate the fact that it was made for us; but I was left thinking if I could make a better pizza. That being said, I finished it, even though I was full and busting at the seams. For the price and convenience, it's not a bad option. Especially on Friday nights when Papa Murphy's has a Friday night special for pepperoni pizzas. A good idea if you're having the kids over for the night. read more

Good stuff, I was in and out in about 6 minutes (would've been even less time if the lady in front of me didn't keep walking back and forth from the cash register to the ingredients viewing window 6+ times looking at ingredients instead of using the menu like a normal person.) The staff was extremely chipper and friendly, and I watched while they made my pizzas. A few minutes later, I was on my way. 3 large one toppings for $15? Can't beat it with a stick. I also got a punch card from them which they punched 3 times. 9 more and I get a free large pizza. Do note that the $5 large one-topping is a Monday only special, but they have lots of other specials going on and coupons also. I brought the pizza home, cooked it, and my house instantly smelled like an amazing Italian restaurant. The pizza was very good. I'm quite impressed. I love the concept of take and bake! It works great if I need to get dinner for a group of friends coming over, and don't want to spend an arm and a leg! Also the pizza is way better that most big chains. The Gourmet Vegetarian pizza is delish...its covered in a creamy garlic sauce, cheese, zucchini, artichokes, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, pretty much every veggie under the sun...Recenlty I picked up a large jack-o-lantern shaped pizza for my nephews, and they loved it! Disappointed with the service today -- I haven't been here in a while, and the formerly very friendly service I've experienced is sadly gone today. Three young women working, and aside from the obligatory robotic-sounding welcome, they didn't say a word or crack a single smile. My son usually loves watching our pizza being made, but not today - they never even made eye contact with him. What happened to the smiles and friendly banter? I wasn't handed my receipt, I had to take it out of the printer myself (the girl just rang it up then walked off), and I had to ask twice for my club card stamp. Good thing we were watching, because we got green onion instead of green olives, and I had to remind her about another topping she forgot. Note to the store, if you change the game, make your rule in big font but not fine print. All of sudden, the coupon is not actual coupon, but you have to fill out survey online then get coupon code, even if the paper print out saying "Save $3" make it look like a real coupon. This is deceitful and embarrassing when I was already at the counter and picked up my order, but no I was not allowed to use it. I don't mind paying the full price, but honestly it's not worth it if the raw pizza higher price than Pizza Hut or Papa John's. You fool customer once, you lose us. read more

Experienced the "Take n Bake" pizza concept for the first time. Ordered a family size Big Murphy's Stuffed Pizza and a Mediterranean salad for total of $20. Regular large pizza is $14 but for $2 more and you get family size which feeds 4-6. Salad was perfect size for $4. Bonus was no tax charged because since they don't bake the pizza, only put it together, it is considered a grocery item. This is a Subway style pizza place where you can watch them put it together. We changed things up a bit and went for the creamy garlic sauce on our pizza instead of red sauce. They wrap it up and you take it home to bake it yourself. This pizza uncooked looked awesome and weighed as much as a newborn baby. Took it home, baked it for about 25 mins and consumed it (along with the salad). When it came out of the oven, the dough of course had risen and the pizza was about the size of a manhole cover (an exaggeration but you get the idea) . It was more than I expected and was an excellent pizza. Fresh ingredients and piping hot out of our own oven. Fed two adults and two kids and we still had 3 large 1.5 inch thick slices left. We will be back for sure to try some of their other pizza creations and maybe try some of our own pizza experimentation ;) Go try it if you can. It's worth it! read more

I went in person (not online or phone order), placed my order and requested a change in one of the meats, I specified even if I had to pay extra, I asked for no onions. I was not paying attention when the made the pizza, they did not give me the meat I ordered and there were onions on my pizza. I did not notice until I was home and took the pizza out of the oven. I called and let them know about this, and all they could give me as a response was "we can give you a discount next time". I went online and left this description of what happened along with my information. I am yet to be contacted, this has been some weeks since. But when i moved to Houston 5 years ago there was no Papa Murphy's here or at least I could not find one.
