I would like to update my review. the young lady that night was very friendly , she worked hard; but this was not the first time something like this happened to me, I still tipped her an appropriate amount , based on my order , I was polite to her, I called the manager after placing my review and asked her if she could at least use this as a teaching moment for staff, that people can dine as singles , and still be waited on . the manager , I believe it was Kristine ; did just that . she also offered me to try again ,. I did , and the pizza was fabulous. so I am changing my review . don't eat here if you are single ; they won't serve you . I came in early with wedding party . Second person. They took orders from people that came and sat in both sides and other tables . Next thing I know , they are all getting food, ate their food ; and I still can't get help. I've tried this place a few times and while I like the atmosphere, the pizza is just not good. Stopped in on a Saturday night and there was only one other customer which is a big red flag. Ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and a beer. The pizza was under cooked and the sauce is not a traditional Italian sauce. It's sweet, almost like barbecue sauce. Very strange. Plus it's not cheap. $20 for a 13" pizza, $7 for a beer plus tax and tip and voila! $35 for "dinner". Definitely will not be back. Too many other options for pizza that are much better. read more

This was a disappointment. We sat for 15 minutes before being greated. We ordered cheese sticks and a 18" pizza. When I was a kid I worked in pizza places and this place could use some help. The breads ticks were nothing but thin crust pizza dough with cheese on it that was under cooked. Then the pizza came out and what a joke. Pre-made sausage and smoked sausage. Stopped by Rotolo's on 4/26 and had a very disappointing experience. We walked in and stood at the host stand for about five minutes without anyone acknowledging or greeting us. Meanwhile, there was a customer literally passed out face down at the bar, and no bartender in sight. As we decided to leave, the bartender was just coming out of the kitchen. The Deluxe Combination (13") is pretty good, always full of crunchy vegetables, melted cheese, and hot meat. The Angry Pig (13") is sweet but spicy and salty from the large sliced jalapeño slices. The sausage is sliced thin, and bacon is crumbled thick. The cheese was only partially melted on it, so it looks slightly undercooked. I raised some health concerns as it's strange for the cheese not to melt and the meat to be cooked. Staff and management tried to convey the message that the pizza goes into the oven, and it should all be cooked. The dough was slightly yeasted and crispy, but it's sometimes more baked and other times less baked, so you never know which you'll get. Staff are neighborly and friendly. read more

We ordered the specialty pizza of the month (van helsing) for pickup. Once we arrived back home we noticed it was missing the balsamic reduction and garlic aioli sauces. Called the restaurant and they offered to replace it if we brought back the old one. Of course we had already started eating the original so it was missing two slices. When we arrived to pickup the fresh pizza they returned to us the same pizza we brought in but with the added sauces on top. So we were a little displeased at how they made this situation "right". The pizza was not very enjoyable after it had been driven around in the car 2x to/from the restaurant. And taking previously distributed food back into the kitchen seems like a health code violation. read more

Rotolo's is a big name in Baton Rouge and in the short span of 3 decades became Louisiana's most well-known pizza chain, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it finally made its way to Texas. Given the whole suburban pizzeria vibe, I think Spring might just be the most ideal location. They've done a very good job with making the place versatile for all parties. It's spacious with a beautiful bar, plenty of dedicated parking, and a good amount of seating. The interior is bright and airy, with clean restrooms and a bustling staff that changes every time I come here (#1). The sports bar aspect gets lost but they always have a stellar lineup of live games playing. While I don't ever really crave their pizza, I do admire the fact that they have a number of different styles from deep dish to thin crust with a colin variety of Italian inspired dishes. The deep dish is a guaranteed food coma and I would keep the expectations extremely low for their New York inspired pizzas. Their burrata caprese salad with chicken is a hearty dish to share and their in house lasagna will be a hit with the kids. I low-key enjoy the brussel sprouts as a guilty pleasure, but that's a testament to how sweet it is. What's the price point here is definitely going to be above average. It definitely reminds me of the locations I've seen in Baton Rouge. This is neither Detroit or Chicago style pizza. I've had both types and this greasy, overly sweet sauce is not what deep dish from Detroit or Chicago is about. I was appalled at the amount of grease these pizzas had. We tried it, didn't like it and will never go back. read more

I stopped by because I was in the area and had a taste for spaghetti.Russo's was nearby but too close to the shopping madness - I thought this place would be more chill, and it was. I got seated (sit anywhere), but it take awhile before a server came. By the time she did I had a chance to see what I wanted and was ready to order. I got the spaghetti with meatballs and a side Caesar salad - plus the house wine. The waitress wasn't familiar with the wine selection so I just took a chance. She didn't offer a tasting either. Thankfully, it was pretty good and smooth, and definitely not bad for $6. The spaghetti came with garlic bites/knots, in which I was really excited about. I have not had any in awhile. Overall, I'd give it a 5 out of 10. It's not the worst, but not the best either. The salad was also good. The garlic bites were unfortunately a fail, so undercooked you could just use it as play doh. I was tempted to try some of the holiday drinks, but still had errands to run - however it's nice they had some good options. Overall the service was ok. For some reason our waitress kept taking awhile coming back to check back, or else I would've informed her about the garlic bites. There was one black manager who came by to check how everything was. She was quite friendly. There was another manager who passed us several times and never said a word, but she did manage to spark up a conversation to the samplers that arrived. Easily the best happening in town for sports fans, beer lovers, and of course pizza aficionados. Greek salad is fantastic and perfectly compliments the craft pizza, and the kitchen deserves recognition. Plenty of wall-mounted televisions to catch your preferred event, and great broadcasts are running even when nothing is going on. Service is Horrible!! Went today to celebrate my nieces 14th Birthday with her friends. 1st there was no host to tell you where to sit, we are a party of 7. No one came to give us a menu or offer to help us. We stopped a waitress walking by that told us that our server wasn't there and stuck in traffic and we'd have to wait for her. There were about 6-8 other people in there that could have helped us but chose not to!! We politely got up and left. I refuse to spend my $$ where I not treated accordingly!! Pizza is so yumm We got the Chicago style I think it's called simple man, Detroit style signature sausage, and regular they were all super delicious. For appetizers we got calamari & dynamite shrimp they were cooked perfectly. Inez is super nice & gives great recommendations. The service here is great! The ambiance is pleasant. We got the spinach & artichoke dip, the bread was good, the dip wasn't very hot and had big chunks of artichoke, which they would have chopped them a little. I've been curious about this place over a year, since they opened. I finally decided to try them out. I was presently surprised to the fresh ingredients and freshly made crust. It was a very delicious pizza. I ordered the Carona, and it tasted like a Margherita pizza but with bruchetta. The one small dissatisfaction was the pizza was getting on the warm side due to being a pick up order. It would have been nice to have the staff call me to know that the pizza will be ready by a specific time. It was a delicious pizza but it would have been very delicious if nicely hot. The staff was polite and efficient when we went in to puck up our order. The restaurant was clean, and has a fun vibe. The not so great: The spaghetti sauce was sweet. Almost like they put too much sugar in it. The alfredo sauce tasted like card board and the garlic bread/balls didn't really have a garlic flavor to them at all. Of all the pizza places in Spring, Rotolo's Craft & Crust stands out among the crowd! I've visited this location at least 20 times in the past year and a half, and every time, the food, service, and ambiance have been consistently solid. As someone who eats a primarily Paleo diet, having a cauliflower crust option is a must for me. The vegan cheese is also a great plus to keep me as far from dairy as possible. I typically get the Deluxe Combination on cauliflower crust with vegan cheese, and it's as close to a real pizza that I can get! The crust is thin and crunchy, the toppings are always fresh and plentiful, and the tomato sauce has a delicious flavor. The cheese is the only part that's not amazing, but that's because it's not real cheese (but that's just me being very picky; there is no good substitute for mozzarella). My wife loves the Figgy Piggy, and my kids like to change things up and order something different each time. On our last visit, my daughter decided to flip the menu over and discovered non-pizza food that she loved. The service has always been impeccable and I've never had a bad experience there. The ambiance is that of any pizzeria back where I'm from in Chicagoland: sports on the TV, a lively bar, and friendly staff. I also order to-go orders here quite often. My pizza has never been late, and it's always hot and ready for pickup at the time their app quotes me. Also, and this is super-important for a pizza place, they've NEVER gotten my order wrong! The bar needed wiping down in multiple places. When it was time to pay, we waited 15 mins for him to run our credit card. Finally, he came in to the bar area to grab his phone and left.
