This place is a hidden gem. The wait staff is awesome. As soon as you walk in they will greet and seat you. Our waitress was very helpful in ordering on the menu. The manager came out and intoduced himself and made sure we were taken care of. Love this! It's a pizza/slash sports bar. There's a nice huge bar with TVs all around if you want to have a drink and catch a game. It's kid friendly, therefore it's a good place for families to hang out as well. It looks as if they will eventually have a patio area. Looks like it was on the way to being complete. There's two sides one side with bar seating and reg tables with booths (Tvs all over on the walls). The other side has tables and booths with TVs on the wall The food was delicious. We orderd dynamite shrimp, truffle fries (lawd have mercy!),deep dish pizza (yummy in my tummy) and a calzone . Those fries! . I ate them all and I usually don't eat all my fries. My new favorite pizza place! I called to order a deep dish Chicago style margherita pizza to go and the person who took my order was so nice. My husband was kind enough to pick it up for me and said it looked like a cool place and suggested going out one night soon. First let me start by saying I'm a HUGE pizza lover and I was so excited by trying this place. It has a huge parking lot and the building is located right off Gosling by HEB. The bartender was nice and helpful when I was undecided what to try. I ordered the deluxe calzone and the slice of Angry pig pizza. The calzone to my surprise was NOT filled with sauce and you had to dip it in the sauce yourself. The calzone was falling all apart and wasn't cooked in the inside all the way once I got to the middle. The angry pig slice was not good to me. I'm open to always try new things but it was overcooked and drowned in bbq sauce. The sauce on the pizza had good flavor but just over took the taste of "pizza". Overall I give this place a 4/10. Maybe I'll try again at a later time but this visit wasn't the greatest. read more

Perfect pie. We tried Rotolo's a couple of weeks ago and I've been meaning to leave a review. Great atmosphere. Friendly service. Delicious food. We had fried calamari, margerita pizza, & the og pizza The glaze they put on the calamari was very tasty. I didn't read the description so I want expecting a glaze. It was served on a bed of arugula which paired well with the calamari. The pizzas were some of the best I've had in the area. I came in to town and came here with my parents on Friday at lunch. Our waitress, Sam was so kind and really took the time to talk to us and get to know our family. Sam was very down to earth and made some really good recommendations for food too. We enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip and the vin pizza. The place was pretty packed for lunch and there was a large assortment of beers to choose from. The bar is in the center and we sat in some large booths. They aren't your typical breadsticks; it's more like a super thin crust pizza but they were very tasty. Next, I opted for The OG. All of their pizzas are 13-inch specialty craft pizzas, which are light but that's a good thing. Doesn't have that heavy, greasy feel. The pizza was delicious and I can't wait to try more varieties of their pizzas. Moreover, they had a plethora of TVs and you can sit anywhere in the establishment and have a great of any game. I had Rotolo's (Togo) about a week ago and we fell in love with the food. The calamari was fresh and crisp, and the Brussels sprouts were flavorful. Today I came back to treat my mom for her bday (and dug into it into the parking lot) and the calamari this time came out soggy and overly salty :( got the angry pig calzone and the shredded cheese was still intact, and not melted; I haven't had this before but was a bit odd to me. I'm not sure what changed but we hope to be able to give it another shot in the future. read more

Great food and atmosphere makes this restaurant a "must" but even beyond that was the exemplary service. The bartenders were attentive and entertaining (forgot the guys name but he is a Navy vet) and the manager is super responsive. When it came time to pay, their system had a glitch and our AMEX card wouldn't scan. Without the blink of an eye, the manager paid our bill with his own account. Still 5 stars, maybe 5.5 now. We have been eating the Chicago classic thin this entire time and we love it- but decided to try Detroit style this time- the traditional. We don't like thick crust usually. And this is definitely thick but airy and crispy and delicious- never had anything like it. The edges of the crust were super yummy crunchy Asiago type goodness. I want to give them 3 stars since they're new but no waters at the table, incredibly long wait time for drinks from the bar during the start of the dinner rush (almost no one there), and messing up spaghetti, I just can't justify it. We walked in, no one was there but a couple people but it was an off hour and they have only been open for like a week or two so ‍ Ordered drinks... Daughter's sprite arrived quickly. Ours sat at the bar for 5-10 minutes ready before delivered. Ok... Sangria was full ice and only 3/4 of the way full with beverage. Meh. Ordered appetizer calamari, one "first timer deep dish," and one kids spaghetti and meatball. Kids spaghetti and meatball came out within minutes (wish they would have asked because we eat together it also even came before the appetizer). It was hot so she waited. Calamari came out and looked great. It Had their own take on it with like an orange chili sauce. Flavor was good but the calamari was super cheap, chewy and blah It was just lukewarm and we didn't even want to finish it. My daughter ate a couple tentacles and really liked the flavor. Ok no complaints they're new and learning appetizer may just be a fluke..... Then our daughter started on her meatball (finished it first) and dug into a HUGE bite of spaghetti. She promptly spit it out (she's 6) and said "this is the worst spaghetti I've ever had. I'm not eating this. Can I just have more meatballs?" My husband and I both tried it. They advertise the sauce as "gravy" and oh my god. This is not an Italian gravy. It was the absolute worst sauce I've ever tried. Tasted like it had been in a can for 3 years. My husband was skeptical of our pizza at this point and it hadn't even arrived yet... I was going to order her the appetizer Tres Meatballs but another $10 to make up for horrible spaghetti, no thanks. Pizza arrived. YUM! Looked SO good!!! We were both excited. First bite, yummy! Second bite, where's the meat? Third bite, Wow this is a super thick crust... Fourth bite, where's the meat? Finally, this isn't a true deep dish... Next to zero meat and it was supposed to have sliced Italian sausage and pepperoni (max. 3 slices of small pepperonis per piece). There might have been 10 pepperonis total honestly and on my 1 slice there was zero sausage. However, they had to be at least two giant onions on the pizza My daughter tried to eat it because she was still hungry but the amount of onions - she just couldn't handle it and she's a pretty adventurous eater (caviar, sushi, steaks, all types of pizza, she will try anything once and almost always likes what she tries). Our daughter was set on getting their "ooey gooey 8" cookie" we bribed her with ANYTHING from ANYWHERE of her choice not to have to order anything else from here it was so bad. You can see a side view of the "deep dish." If you've ever had true deep dish pizza, this is not it! 2 drinks, 1 app, 1 kids meal, and 1 deep dish pizza with a 20% tip was $105. We had to ask for water because none was ever brought to us. I have no problem paying for a dinner, if it's worth it. This was 100% NOT. If you read this whole thing, go you. Although this review is long, I honestly don't even think it can accurately depict how bad this place was. Save your money. read more

They have kids options as well as ordering pizza by the slice if you're not super hungry. Their slices are big and decently priced. My husband and I shared the Vin calzone (you can choose any of their signature pizzas and turn it into a calzone!) and it was big enough for both of us to share - it was really tasty and filled with a variety of meat, olives, and cheese. Our waitress was very attentive and patient with our rowdy bunch. They have trivia nights here on Monday evenings - we would love to come back and try that some time. We originally came in a side door (that we thought was the entrance) and I asked if we just sit anywhere and was rudely told no that we needed to se the person up front, we asked where that was and the person rudely just pointed. We got a seat and it took forever to get a server and then forever to get the food and again it took a very long time to get our check and pay.
