I'd never tried that on pizza before, so I figured why not. The pizza itself was good. The sauerkraut was... fine, but probably not something I'd order again. It added a vinegary, sour note that didn't quite work for me. Anchovies were solid, and there was a good amount of cheese. The owner seemed nice; I mentioned I was curious about the sauerkraut, and he just wished me a good weekend. Overall, decent pizza, interesting topping experiment, but I'll stick to the classics next time.

There is no shortage of cheese thankfully....which is my biggest complaint with many pizza places these days. It's also not shy on the amount of toppings too. While visually, it looks simar to many other meat lovers out there, it does taste better than your national chains. The bread is a little more soft and spongy I think. When it got a little cooler toward room temp, it wasn't all that great anymore. Overall, Bulldogs is decent, but i am still on the hunt for the best pizza in the woodlands.
