Marini's Pizza was recommended to us by a family member. When we finally tried it, we loved it. Highly recommend. They were kind of hidden within a comic book store, but since the comic book store left, they are expanding. They will now have seating and much more visibility. You won't go wrong with the pizza, wings or garlic knots. Oh and do not sleep when it comes to the dessert options. Ya'll, the Belgian chocolate mousse cake is so decadent. Beyond delicious! Staff is super friendly and the pizza is hands down one of the best in the area. Don't let the location fool you, they may be in a comic book store but they pack huge flavor into their food. This is neat. This business is pretty much a combination pizzeria and comic book store. It's pretty much every nerd's dream. If you walk towards the rear part of the store, you will be greeted by a friendly employee named Corey behind a small counter. I ordered the extra large supreme pizza and don't regret it at all. It's well seasoned on thin crust and it was scrumptious. The only downfall was that they don't deliver pizza outside the radius of 3 miles from their store. However, I was offered a $5 dollar discount off my pizza for having to pick up my food. I'm definitely coming back to try the other pizzas. read more

Terrific pizza place that uses high quality ingredients in their food. Their crust is amazingly doughy but crisp. My new favorite pizza place. The meatballs in their meatball sub are delicious and large. It makes eating the sub a bit difficult but enjoyable. Be warned, there is a large wooden toothpick inserted in each half of the meatball sub that I bit into not knowing it was there. It didn't taste as good as the meatball. read more

Absolutely delicious! The storefront took me aback for a second because it's almost all comic book shop and you pick up your pizza all the way in the back. I didn't have time to browse, but very cool setup. The sauce and the cheese they use is a winning combo and so flavorful, I docked one star because I do feel like the crust could be better, but honestly that is just me being nit picky. They are also reasonably priced and I would choose them over the mainstream chains (Dominos, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Marco's) every time. If you take this pizza home, I recommend reheating it in a cast iron pan. THAT took this pizza from an 8.5/10 to a solid 12/10. This is a new location in my area so I decided to give it a try. I was surprised by how fast they delivered and how professional the driver was. Ordered a supreme and a pepperoni pizza and both had plenty of topping, where not greasy and tasted very good. For me pizza comes down to the crust and we all have our own preferences on that aspect. For me this crust was a perfect thickness (hand tossed) and even though I've had better gourmet crust at other places this was very good for delivery. I had a terrible experience with Marinis. We ordered food online and arrived to pick it up only to find out the water had been out all day and all the employees left that morning. The comic book store employees at the same location told me. The app they use is slice which some how switched our order to their Conroe location. I am guessing since the store was "closed". We contacted the Conroe location for a refund since everyone at the woodlands location went home. They told us to contact slice the app/service they use for online orders. After going back and forth with them and slice they refused to refund our order $40 worth of pizza and wanted us to drive 40-60 minutes in 5 o'clock traffic to Conroe to pick up a pizza that would be cold and worthless by the time we arrived. I can say that I will never order any food from this establishment again. read more

We wanted to support a smaller business and the number of positive reviews fooled us into ordering from here. We ordered the Argentine Fugazeta and it was horrible... the whole pizza had the wrong sauce, but we couldn't even tell because of the MOUNTAIN of burnt or raw onions and leathery mozzarella covering the whole pie. We ended up taking off & throwing out all the burnt onions, then removing the rest of the onions and sautéing them ourselves (like they were supposed to be done the first time). Personally - I wasn't expecting to have to recook half the pizza myself based off the number of positive reviews. I hope for everyone's sake - our issue was a fluke. I'm pretty lazy when it comes to reviewing restaurants, but the food quality and owner moved me so much that I just had to leave a review. Marini's is tucked away inside of the collections store next to Space Cadets. The thin crust Blanco is phenomenal. I was about 12 minutes late and had an additional 9 minutes to drive home. The pizza was still hot, and it was still crispy despite sitting in the box. They did not skimp on the toppings, and the ingredients tasted fresh. I was luckily enough to meet the owner during my first experience there. He's one of the most welcoming people whom I've ever met. I didn't feel like just another number when I walked out. Overall, I'm kicking myself for not trying Marini's out sooner. This will probably turn into a weekly D&D and pizza night for me. read more

Was told 25-30 minutes to pick up my order. Arrived at 30 minutes, paid and was told it was "just about ready". 35minutes later I asked again and was told "we are backed up it's going to be a little while longer". All this while listening to them take orders and say 25-30 minutes. Got a refund and found somewhere else to go. Definitely will not recommend. So I was looking for somewhere to order fettuccini alfredo that wasn't from a huge chain restaurant, so I found Marini's. It's not too far from where I work in The Woodlands, so I easily placed my order online and received clear communication online and via text that my order had been received and when it was ready. When I pulled into the parking lot I was a bit confused. Luckily I recognized the sign from the website, but it's situated in the back of a store that sells Pokemon items. (Wierd) The young lady sitting at the counter at the front clearly worked for the retail side of the shop and didn't acknowledge me when I walked in as she was watching a video with a big grin on her face. While I was tempted to shop while I was there, I headed to the back where I followed the smell of food. I gave my name and he promptly handed me my food and thanked me for my order. When I got back to my office I opened my food and was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the sauce and the inclusion of two soft bread knots. I'll be ordering other items from them again, and will maybe do some shopping while I'm at it. **The only thing - don't pick up the "to-go" parmesan cheese they have on the counter with the utensils. The two packets I got were clearly old and I was glad I didn't just sprinkle it all over my food without noticing a bit of discoloration. If you want parm, you'd be better off removing the top from the to-go container and shaking it on yourself. No photos - I was hungry! :) read more
