It came with a house vignette dressings. The salad was fresh with crispy lettuce. The Alfredo is one of the best I've ever had. The chicken tastes and smells grilled but still juicy and tender. They even included crushed pepper and grated parmesan. When I arrived to pick up my order, it was ready as promised. It's okay. It's certainly not the worst Italian restaurant I've ever been to. It's just kinda meh. Good Points: Friendly quick service. Good portion sizes. Not So Good Points: Typical overcooked pasta. The sauce was the typical unauthentic processed tasting marinara. The chicken parmigiana was a little overcooked and the cheese was low quality. That all being said, it was digestible. I wasn't particularly unhappy when I left. Had the cost been higher I would have been. The costs are very reasonable. There's always a bit of anxiety when I recommend a restaurant in my hometown to friends. that the service will be slow or they won't be impressed and I'll feel bad. Could of been Better. Seated quickly took order and had the sub in 5 mins. Average crowd. Service was very good as they have plenty of staff in a small dining room and they all help out each other. Been wanting to try Joes since i have read lots of good things about it. Ordered the Veal Parm. Had two complementary hot butter rolls. Sub came out and all I could see was cheese lots of cheese. I removed about 3/4 of it . Sauce was OK, but i had a hard time finding the Eggplant. Eggplant is a lot less $ than chicken or Veal and would expect some slices of diameter. Brothers Pizza in the Woodlands had the same results when I ordered the same there. I was content and ate too much bread and left without a complaint. Way too much garlic in EVERYTHING! Couldn't finish my pasta because of the overwhelming garlic. Service is slow. Very political place makes eating seem uncomfortable. 10/10!! I have traveled all across the U.S trying Italian food (as it is one of my favorite types of food) and this place is by far the BEST tasting place. And you can't beat the prices either. Everyone raved about this place so I finally went. Not impressed at all. Nothing tasted homemade. Salad was iceburg lettuce from a bag. Rolls were not hot out of the oven and no olive oil to dip in. We stopped by at Joe's for a quick lunch. We ordered the spaghetti and a combo that included lasagna, manicotti, and penne pasta. The garlic bread brought to the table when we sat down was warm, buttery, and garlic delicious. We had a side salad that was large enough for 2. We liked the ranch and the Italian dressings. The spaghetti had a sweeter marinara and the combo was a little hard to tell what things were because they were covered with delicious mozzarella. I dug through the dish and was able to separate the parts to taste each one. The combo dish was good, but I want to try each of them individually to get a good taste of each. Service was quick and they were very friendly. The dining room was calm with a lot of wood decorations. I enjoyed the experience, and the only negative was the food was not hot. The food came out steaming from the warmer, but when we dug into the food, it was only warm. I didn't bring it up to the staff because we were in a hurry and the food tasted good. We will go back to try the pizza and the Joe's Salad that looked great on the menu. read more

This place is AMAZING! The service is fast and you can tell the food is good right when you walk in because of the amount of people, and we didn't have a wait to be seated! Even though it was busy the dining room was welcoming and had a great vibe! We got A LOT of food but we wanted to try a little bit of everything! We tried the 18" pizza half hamburger and half Hawaiian and this was no joke the best pizza I've ever had, we also got the fettuccine Alfredo, the lobster and shrimp ravioli, and their cheese garlic bread, everything was amazing and we DEFINITELY got a good amount of left overs! I called the restaurant to specifically ask that my food be stapled and was LIED TO that it would be. When i received my food the only thing that was secured was the DEAD salad and the old bread. My actual food was in an open bag tucked at the bottom. I called back and they gave a whole song and dance about how staples near the food was unsafe even though A. You said you would do it and B . The dead salad and the old bread were in a stapled bag , were they not. Well aside from tge safety issue i didnt eat it because it looked and smelled like shit. Why 5 stars? Because this wasn't really on my radar, but I'm so glad we went. --- --- --- Months ago, my wife and I brought our son here for lunch. There was no cell service, so our hot spot wasn't working on our iPad. When you have a toddler, an iPad is a necessity to enjoy a peaceful meal. And unfortunately, there was an incredibly impatient and irritable diner that was loudly voicing his displeasure with our child's whining. This resulted in us abruptly leaving before we even ordered our meals. Fast forward to visit #2: we went without the kiddo and had the complete opposite experience. Both of us were eyeing the chicken parmesan and we came very close to just ordering two of them. But while I was scrolling through photos, I came across one that looked incredibly appealing. It was not captioned, so I showed a photo to the waiter and asked what it was. He wasn't sure, but called someone else over, who said that it was called "Veal Messina". It wasn't on the menu but it was something they could make. While I had no idea what to expect, I took the risk and went for that. I'm so glad I did because it was amazing. The only downside is that it was incredibly heavy and creamy, so I couldn't finish my plate (a shockingly rare occurrence for me), but the flavor was amazing. It was almost like eating pasta with syrup, it was so rich. The wife's chicken parm was also great, as was everything else: the bread, the salad, the service and everything about the experience. Ordered a pizza on Uber eats. I called immediately to ask if they could put the pepperoni on only half of the pizza. I was told they can't do that. I said I already paid for the pepperoni just put it on only half. Again he said they can't. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. This will be my last pizza here. read more

The waitress was clearly in a bad mood or just doesn't like her job. She was dismissive towards us when we sent the garlic knots back and ordered garlic bread with olive oil. We weren't even halfway done eating and she was rushing us out..giving us to go containers. We had so much food left,that we had to ask for more containers. I left there still hungry. We normally love going there, but she ruined our evening out that we were looking forward to. If we ever do go back, we will make sure to ask for a different waitress. read more

Was craving some pasta and came across Joe's Italian Restaurant. Seated quickly and my server Sharlotte got me set up with some water and a Shiner Bock. Went with the Spaghetti & Meatballs but also requested some sausage too. The meal came with a soup and the special was a Chicken Tortellini with spinach and it was DELICIOUS...rich, creamy, and the tortellini perfectly cooked. They brought out some bread rolls along with an oil and seasoning mixture for dipping. The bread is nice and warm but the oil mixture is too heavy on the garlic for me. The pasta was perfectly Al-dente and the sauce was very good and stuck well onto the noodles, love it when places serve pasta with a spoon for twirling. The meatballs were OK but seemed to lack seasoning, but the sausages were really good, loved the grill marks and flavor. Overall a good pasta dish with nice flavors and enough leftover for another meal. Very good food and wonderful service! Note: I saw some of the pizza's and a Calzone being delivered to other tables and they looked good. read more

I ate lunch at Joe's yesterday, October 2. It was absolutely horrible! I ordered chicken piccata With a side of mixed veggies, no pasta. I have eaten this at several other restaurants and have made it myself. This dish was served to me as a SOUP! The chicken breasts looked like they were frozen and dumped into the thick, slimy sauce, I had to fish the chicken out of the sauce. The mixed vegetables were thrown into the sauce with the chicken. I was shocked and mentioned to the server. She argued with me and said my chicken piccata was correctly made. Unbelievable. I wish I had taken a photo. This place reminded me of some of the fabulous little neighborhood restaurants back in New York. The interior was warm and relaxed. The food was off the charts and a surprising find in Conroe. Salads were not fancy but featured great, fresh ingredients. The Marsala sauce was rich, the veal appropriately pounded and the rolls were hot and buttery. Portions are huge! Service too was impressive with servers taking care of each others tables so that no one waited more than a minute. You've gotta go! read more
