I usually love MOD Pizza and have been a loyal customer for a while, but this experience was really disappointing. The closest MOD to me is about a 20-30 minute drive, and I got there around 7:15PM -- well before closing time at 11. Unfortunately, when I arrived, half of the ingredients I get were out on one side and already wrapped up for the night on the other side... The staff told me they weren't willing to unwrap anything or grab ingredients from the back, even though they still had four hours left before closing. I explained that I had driven nearly 30 minutes against traffic just to eat there, but they still didn't make any effort to accommodate me. It's frustrating because I genuinely enjoy MOD and come often, but this experience left me feeling unappreciated as a regular customer. I really hope management takes note -- if the store is open until 11, the full menu should be available until closing or at least close to those hours. I really appreciate the options they have for those with dietary restrictions. They offer gluten free crust as well as dairy-free cheese. We ordered our pizzas using Uber Eats. The pizzas arrived very late, even though we had paid for the express service, which was extremely frustrating. They were cold, so I put them in the oven, but unfortunately, a fire started. The pizzas tasted bland--it was clear they had been sitting on the counter too long before the driver picked them up. Since Uber Eats doesn't display MOD's full menu, I wasn't able to select an important option: having the dipping sauce on the side. As a result, I ended up with a soggy pizza. Not tasteful at all. I wasn't expecting this pizza chain to be as good as it is, but they proved me wrong. It's fast, affordable, customizable and delicious. They don't skimp on the toppings, either. I usually get one of their menu posted pizzas with my own personal twist. The 11 inch mega dough is enough to enjoy half in one sitting, then the rest reheated later on that day, which is what I do. Their regular sized pizzas are small enough to be filling and finished in one sitting. The workers are generally friendly, there are one or two grouches, but I've learned to stay away on the weekends when the teenagers are working. Plus the interactions are minimal, but it's not cool when they run out of toppings and the staff decides they can't be bothered to go in the back to get a refill. This MOD Pizza is probably one of the better walk-the-line Chipotle style pizza places I've been to. I chose this because they did have a non-dairy (vegan) cheese option. They actually put enough cheese on the pizza unlike some of the other places who dust it on. It's also a good size and pretty filling for me (a big eater), so I'd imagine many people will be getting to-go boxes for their leftovers. They even had a balsamic drizzle to give it some extra flavor. The staff was helpful at answering my questions on which crusts and which toppings to get (veggies) and not get (meat) for my plant-based meal. It wasn't overly crowded as it was right before the dinner rush, but on the way out, there was a line, but it seemed to be moving quickly. They do have some beer choices as well, a few on tap, but the plastic cups are a bit small. It's the same size cup for soda pop as well, so if you're thirsty, you'll be refilling often. read more

I love MOD Pizza. We normally go to the location in Rivergate, but we were meeting someone else and wanted to go to this one to be closer to I485. After being a MOD Pizza customer for 3 years at the other location, I have come to find my favorite pizza creation that includes garlic rub, couple different cheeses, veggies, and meats, with red sauce dollops on top! I love that you can get as many toppings as you want at the same price! This particular time, I saw the sign for the cauliflower pizza crust and decided to give it a go. Unfortunately that was a mistake. I have had cauliflower pizza crusts before and have found them enjoyable! Here, it was overcooked - could not even eat the entire crust as it was too crispy and again, just overcooked. I did enjoy the overall flavor of it, but I would just stick to the regular crust here. I would still recommend MOD as I love the variety of topping options and the pizzas have excellent flavor! Probably won't be back to this location any time soon as we just have another location closer to us! July 2021. Hello my friends. Not gonna lie - I'm typically cool for Dominoes or shii like that but I think MOD's Pizza has kinda changed that for me. Even though it's slightly pricier than your typical chain pizza , I think it's pretty worth. Its thin form factor with pretty much unlimited toppings is a game changer in many ways. The crust is crisp and baked to perfection (or mine was at least). However if you're just tryna bulk and pack some cals/get full and do not need lots of toppings then look at other chain deals to get your calories worth. BUTT, if you're down to throw in some extra money for a pizza to get double(?) dough/crust, this will def be a great option. I have a suggestion if you're down tho: - 11in pizza, tomato based sauce, cheese, pepperoni, sausage, bacon, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, cilantro, spinach, then cheese again - seriously such a great combo. Mod Pizza makes a great pie. I love the thin(ner) crust because it allows for a crispy, crunchy bite and a little charred flavor. Lots of great flavor, toppings and ingredients. I like the predetermined pies or "build your own" options, but the down side is the predetermined are all amazing, and on the flip side, build your own is exactly what you want. I am a huge fan of this customization thing that seems to be taking over. Pick your base, pick your sauce, pick your toppings. Easy! I chose a classic 11 inch pie with the regular sauce and added chicken, bacon, sweet and hot peppers, red onions and extra Parmesan cheese, Despite all of these toppings, when the pizza was ready it was not wet or drippy at all. Groovy place. Build your own pizza joint. Assembly line similar to Qdoba. We went freestyle and ordered a margarita with a twist (pineapple) and a meat lovers with extra meat. I stop by here once in a while since it's on the way home. When no one wants to cook, it's an option. The pricing is fair, and I love that everything is made fresh and the wait is not very long. But a couple of grips. Sometimes they tend to overcook the pizza. Also, in my opinion, they don't sauce the pizza far enough to the edge, which means things get piled up in center of the pizza. And even though you can add many toppings, they will skimp on the meat toppings unless you tell them "extra". I normally get food to go, but the place is clean. Mod pizza is a great place for a quick bite. I've been here around 10 times and only 1 of those times didn't live up to the standard. Normally when I go, I always get the 11" with meats. There are plenty of meat, veggie and cheese options to choose from, so pile high without shame. The staff are always nice and are always there to help with any questions. My last visit, I got my usual (bacon, sausage, ground beef, and Canadian bacon) and decided to try the cinnamon sticks based on previous reviews. I coupled them with the strawberry dip. They were okay, but I was left not wanting them again. They were kind of burnt on the bottom but I just didn't think they were as good as I was led to believe. The pizza was very good, as usual. You can get the 6" or the 11". If your are hungry, get the 11" for sure as it's thin crust. If you have kids or just want to try out different topping combos, get the 6". My wife always gets the 6" and is not hungry after. Not only is this one of my top choices for something quick, but it's one of my favorite pizza places now. Mainly based on the one price offering. Unfortunately my score has to drop for one of my favorite pizza locations. I was not pleased with my experience today MOD. The sad thing is my dad was with me and he LOVES this place and he said the same thing. Walking in the staff use to welcome you with "HELLO WELCOME TO MOD" very loudly. Today maybe two people said it and they had about 6 workers in the front and no line. I noticed a manager working on his laptop and he looked up and was one of the two greeters. The two young ladies that were behind the counter making the pizza had the saddest looks on their faces. In the most pitiful voice they said, "what kind of pizza would you like". One of them didn't speak at all, and continued to act as if she just didn't feel like being there. Another young lady came from the back to help with the line. I noticed her gloves with a wet and dirty and hoped that she would change them. Instead she proceed to start messing in the food. I immediately stopped her and asked if she could change her gloves. She didn't like that but I did not like the fact that she thought it was ok to use the same gloves she's been wearing in the back and touch other things. Preventing cross contamination is the reason I'm sure they have to change their gloves as frequently as they do in restaurants. After our three pizzas where made we waited for them to come out. The young lady that I asked to change her gloves was then digging in her ear with her finger nails and did not wash her hands. This was absolutely disgusting! When my father and I walked out we both looked at each other and said, WOW this place has changed A LOT and for the worse. He shared that MOD PIZZA was just announced as the #1 pizza chains in the United States. Hopefully this location takes note of that and attempts to better their employees. read more

Well, I was with my husband and child when we went here. The outcome of that was that I liked it, my child liked it, and my husband hated it. I came to this location early this evening on my way home from the airport. I frequently visit MOD Pizza, however not this particular location. Upon walking in, no greeting at all. Now time to create my pizza, the young lady making my pizza had 0 enthusiasm, as I requested my toppings it almost felt as if I was going to be charged extra for each topping I added. She barely cover my pizza with my topping requests.... I have been to MOD Pizza a lot and I have never had a bad experience until today!
