While it looks quiet from the outside, inside you will find a lot of hustle and bustle as hungry patrons line up to get their breakfast sandwiches, or their lunch depending on the time of day! The place is part neighborhood market, selling beer and wine along with snacks, and part deli serving made to order sandwiches, and salads, along with prepackaged sides and fixings like chicken or egg salad. I finally got a chance to come in around lunch time and was very exciting to dive into my turkey sandwich which came with bacon pepper Jack and a chipotle spread. Well, look no further as Rhino Market will give you plenty of options to start the day off right. We stopped here around lunchtime on a Saturday to grab some breakfast food. As it was already later in the day, I ended up opting for a lunch sandwich instead. The window to order is placed towards the rear of the store. The menu has plenty of breakfast and lunch options. After ordered, you go back to the front counter to pay. It's pretty tough not to grab a snack or two on your way to checkout. They also have some fresh brewed coffee which I tried, and it got me fired up for the morning. I ordered the Chicken Torta and it came out after about 5 minutes. The sandwich was presented perfectly, a beautiful picture of green balanced with some fresh deli meat. First bite, and I instantly fell in love with my lunch sandwich. You won't go wrong with a chicken torta, or any torta for that matter. There's plenty of seating in the deli, at the bar, outside in the common area, or outside in the yard. All spots you may choose to eat have wonderful vibes, especially in you sit inside the restaurant since they had a musician playing live music. All in all, I'm very glad I tried out this place as I can see it entering my rotation of quick eats around the city.

2 Stars - Disappointing Portions & Not Worth the Price…read more I stopped by Groucho's Deli in South Charlotte and ordered two sandwiches to go--the Roast Beef Marinate and the Reuben Variation with slaw instead of kraut. We didn't open the boxes until we got to the park, and honestly, we were both shocked at how tiny the portions were. The Roast Beef Marinate was especially disappointing. The menu uses over 50 words to describe this "piled high," "savory," "tender," "signature sauced" sandwich... but what I received was basically bread with a very small amount of roast beef. Nothing else appeared to be on it. For over $10, it felt more like a sample than a meal. Please look at my photo and keep the menu description in mind--it's almost humorous compared to what's actually served. The Reuben Variation didn't fare much better. Also very small, lacking flavor, and honestly the weakest versions of these sandwiches we've had anywhere in the Charlotte area. One of the sandwiches came with a small prepackaged bag of chips and a pickle spear. We also grabbed three cans of diet cream soda, and the total came out to over $30. For two undersized sandwiches and a few drinks, that price is pretty surprising. We really wanted to like this place, but based on our experience, we'll be passing on Groucho's next time we're craving deli sandwiches.
