    Wednesday Wicked $5 special
    D A.

I hadn't been to Which Wich since I worked downtown. Forgot about this location being so close. Went & got the $5 Wicked Wednesday special 9-15-21. Had a short break before a conference call & it hit the spot. Was very clean inside. Came in on the tail end of probably a lunchtime rush, but I didn't have to wait too long. The cashier helped me out by filling out the bag for me. I'd forgotten about it. My only takeaway was not being to order online. Initially, I tried to order & pay online using a gift card. The transaction was declined because of the billing address. I used my bank card & tried again; it was declined for the same reason.

First time dealing with Which Wich. Must say service was fast. I had the Muffaletta Sandwich which was lacking meat. Delicious Olive salad but hardly any salami and just some scant Ham. My husband had the Tuna Melt. He enjoyed his sandwich but only one thing wrong -- the buns were so soft . I know some people like soft Buns. I am used to a Chicago Roll that is crispy on the outside. But not so soft all the way around

First time here, and the owner/manager came out to personally walk me through the menu. Great customer service and good sandwiches!

I had the blueberry and grape salad with turkey (per our servers recommendation). I was skeptical of turkey on a salad, but it was shredded up and was a really great compliment. A staff member was using the meat slicer and, while wearing gloves, took out his personal phone to answer a call. While on the phone continued to handle the food. After finishing his call, he proceeded to served samples to customers while still wearing the same gloves that had touched the meat and his phone. I asked about speaking to the manager because I wanted to address the concern, but I was surprised to find out that the person involved was the manager. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this felt vary unprofessional and unsanitary, especially from someone in a leadership position. I have been coming here for several years and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and experience. Unfortunately, I have noticed a change over time, and it feels like that shift started when the current manager began taking more control and changing things. It is disappointing to see a place I have supported for years move in a direction that feels less welcoming and less focused on the standards that originally made it a place I wanted to return to. I hope the business takes this feedback seriously and reinforces proper food handling practices with the staff.

I've NEVER experienced such inconsistent hours and menu availability. From what I can tell, the employees seem to be allowed to cut corners as they mentally check out after like 2:30 pm even though they don't close until 4. They say lunch is until 3pm, but sometimes they jump the gun and turn the grill off 15 minutes earlier than that, and if that happens they won't turn it back on for you, even if you are still there before 3. Last week I went in a little before 1:45 and I STILL couldn't get a sandwich because they just so happened to be closing at 2. The lady there didn't offer to let me change my order, upsell me on something different, didn't even apologize for the inconvenience... just flat-out refused me service and then the girl had the audacity to say "maybe I could have made it work if you were here at like 1:40ish..." As if her doing her job is negotiable once she's mentally already back at home on her couch. Never mind that the lobby was empty and she had nothing left to do EXCEPT her job. I was like "that's less than five effing minutes ago, y'all have a problem here" and as I walked out this girl actually yelled after me something like "I didn't know your BLT meant that much to you" Which would be completely uncalled for even if I DIDN'T happen to be someone with a chronic condition which actually does affect my diet. So yes, eating something actually WAS that important to me. This isn't even the first time an employee here has claimed I am 'two minutes too late' to order food off the grill they shut off some 10 minutes earlier than 1 hour early. Those cashiers have the work ethic of slugs. I'd recommend literally any other place for lunch, as the Great Harvest has disappointed me several times now. The first time I ate here I actually left a five-star review, but that was before they changed their hours and I will be removing that review. Since then, I have tried to order more food, but I have not since been one of the lucky few who got there in time for the special window of their shift that the employees actually feel like working!! Congrats to those of y'all who make it!!
