The staff were completely rude and inattentive. One of them being a "team lead". Worst experience at a CFA we have ever had.

If you're looking for a intimate one on one type of event, group event, a space for conversations, or a space for activities. This place has it all! The bowling lanes, pool tables, and other areas are spaced out that you're not on top of or surrounded by other people or groups. The design of this location really does a great job at promoting a social and yet at the same time intimate environment.

It's quite apparent that this place has a serious problem starting with management and working its way down. Long story short, we bowled for two hours and during that time they lost our first food order, delivered the second order placed with 6 min left of our two hours of bowling and delivered it missing food and drinks. During this time our bowling lane kept erroring out and it was nearly impossible to track someone down to fix the problem. When we did find someone, the person was so incredibly rude and snarky. I told one person about our error, she stared at me, didn't say a word, and walked off! Then she came back later to blame us for the issue claiming we had too many bowling balls, which was not the reason the pins wouldn't reset First person we talked to about food: told us to place our order at the bar because we had alcohol in the order. Second person we talked to: told us that the food and drinks would be delivered to our bowling lane Third person we talked to (after waiting for our order over an hour): told us they did nothing with our order because they can't bring alcohol to the lane while holding up the list we gave them. No one informed us that they wouldn't put the order in, contrary to what person 2 told us. Talked to a manager who then put part of our order in. Second order was delivered incomplete with 6 min of bowling left. Food was so disgusting and soggy that I wouldn't have fed it to my dog. I informed the manager to refund us and we went to Chipotle 3 min down the road to eat. Time will tell if I'm charged for food we didn't receive or food that wasn't edible! Needless to say, we will go somewhere else to bowl and will never step foot in this poorly run "establishment" again! Pics are of the error we continued to get on the lane, the incredibly rude bartender (supposedly her name is Ashley) and the ridiculously large bee in the waiting area which just sparked interest. I ordered the 1/2 dark chicken plate with yellow rice and chicken soup. The chicken soup is the only thing I wished it had a little bit more flavor but it was all good. The beef empanadas were VERY good (fyi if you go on Tuesdays, I believe they are $1) . I also grabbed their mango juice, and it tasted fresh, natural, and authentic -- definitely a highlight. Overall, this is a solid food spot with a nice variety of menu options. I didn't get any pictures this time (my bad ), but I would definitely go back and enjoy another meal here. Don't let the random location fool you; HA Pigsmith's is busting out some mean eats, with hefty portions and affordable prices. How it works: Follow @so_science on Instagram, and they'll post the week's menu over the weekend. The themes vary every week, so keep an eye on it! You have until midnight on Tuesday to email them with your order. On Wednesday morning, you get an email with payment and pick-up details, and then you swing by the back of the church between 4 and 7 PM on Wednesday to pick up your goods! Pretty easy process, especially if you live close by. So far we've gotten dishes from their BBQ menu (brisket, bbq beans, cheese and mac) and their Greek menu (moussaka with side Greek salad, gyro with fries). Everything is restaurant quality. Let me rephrase: everything is excellent restaurant quality! Like what I would expect if I went to a BBQ joint or Greek spot that specialize in that type of cuisine. Pretty incredible. We originally found out about HA's from a neighbor, and I added this business page to Yelp to be able to share my photos and experiences to help spread the word about this awesome local spot!

Heyo quality chicken lovers! I thought this place was outstanding!…read more From the start, I had high expectations for this joint. The exterior of the building is beautiful, decked out in a beautiful blue paint with pink roses (later discovered, to honor the Mrs Queen Beulah herself. We came here on a whim, after no more clucks could be given; the other food options in that area were either a long wait, or about to close. So after rumbling tummies, no clucks were given and we headed to Beulah's. I ordered a chicken Sammie, some fries and a Coca-Cola since I'm just a classic cluck, and it was all fantastic... some might say, im-peck-able! This place was way better than the popular Chicken chain with the cows (you know the one). It was clean, quick and tasty. The breading at Beulah's was perfectly seasoned and crisped, thick in all the right places, and the chicken quality was bawking fantastic - juicy, moist and there were no weird tidbits of chicken junk in there, which was very much appreciated. The fries were just the right thickened, seasoned and fried to perfection. After eating, my tummy was stuffed like a turkey on Thanksgiving by the end of my meal. But I can't forget about the signature sauce, which was also yummy, similar to that of a Canes or Chick-fil-A. Just the right balance of tangy, sweet, salty, savory - they nailed it! They also had various dessert options including cookies and icecream. It was all phenomenal! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I was clucking all the way home, expressin how much I enjoyed it to the gal pals. Plus, reading Beulah's story and family history that was framed on the wall, by our table, brought a shedding tear to my eye, just like when I watch jeopardy every night. I mean who doesn't cry at jeopardy. Buyer beware: Restaurant space inside is limited, bawk (but), they have a covered patio with plenty of seats, and here it seems more of a grab n go place anyways. Parking was fairly close and accessible too. I regret to inform I didn't have the opportunity to check out the restrooms, but I'm sure they were of fine suit. Conclusion: I would most certainly come back, in the instant I'm back in town. I love chickens and I love eating them more.

Flights from Guatemala would arrive, and passengers would walk off the plane carrying bags of Pollo Campero. The aroma was unforgettable. Ever since then, I've been curious about what made this chicken so special. Fast forward to Charlotte, and now I finally understand the hype. I stopped in for a quick lunch and ordered the four-piece roasted chicken meal with sweet plantains, coleslaw, and a roll. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The chicken was juicy and packed with spices that set it apart from your typical fast-food chicken chain. It's hard to explain until you try it, but the seasoning has a distinctive flavor that makes Pollo Campero uniquely its own. The sweet plantains were excellent. Soft, caramelized, and sweet with those slightly crispy edges that make plantains so addictive. The coleslaw was cold, creamy, and crunchy, which paired perfectly with the chicken. The service was friendly, the value was excellent, and my order was accurate. I always take a moment to check my order before leaving the drive-thru, and everything was exactly right. If your fried chicken experience begins and ends with KFC, Bojangles, or Church's, give Pollo Campero a try. It's a delicious taste of Guatemala and a reminder that great chicken comes in many forms. Several excellent local restaurants, too. So I had high hopes today for Pollo Campero. PC was clean when I arrived at 12:30. Quite busy with about a third of the tables in use and the remaining were clear of dirty dishes. Surprising because they don't have a trash can that I could see - the staff bus and clean tables, clearing them swiftly. I ordered a three piece at the counter and it didn't take long until a running found my tent card and I was able to start. The chicken was thoroughly cooked, still moist. Not much for flavor in the skin today, it needed some hot sauce to bring out the taste. The cole slaw was creamy and crisp. Still good but also a little bland. The small dinner roll wrapped in plastic was fresh and fluffy. Overall, it's a nice little fast food spot.
