We came to Mochinut during its grand opening and thoroughly enjoyed it! We had three different types of Korean corn dogs and they were amazing. The mochi flour coating is so unique - crispy and fluffy at the same time. We also had half a dozen mochi donuts that were fabulous. The mochi flour creates a light and chewy bake and the toppings were very flavorful. We had milk tea that was very good as well. The spam musubi was only so-so. The spam was soaked in soy sauce which isn't necessary as fried spam imparts its own saltiness. Also, there was no furikake between the spam and rice, which means the complexity of the flavor was low. It was better than no spam musubi, though! The employees were kind and helpful, and they also had touch screen self-ordering kiosks that you can use if there's a line. The decor is cute and tidy. They have a small "free little library" space with kids' novels which is a nice touch. It's a fun space with creative snack food. We'll come back again!

Just.. average. The shop itself is super cute and cozy. I had nice big windows and cute donut pillows around the seating area. They had a few books on the shelves, I'm assuming available to grab while you're in the shop, and a game or two that I wasn't familiar with. The food didn't necessarily stand out to me. I have tried mochi donuts from a shop that was in Kelly square and in comparison, these are a lot more chewy, almost like it wasn't fully cooked through. Personally, texture isn't a major thing for me but it can be for some people. The Rice dog was great, my only real complaint about it was that they were a little stingy with the ketchup so it was pretty dry. In their defense, I also didn't ask for more ketchup. The potato mozzarella is just that, no sausage like the rice dog. It was pretty tasty, again, just needed some more sauce. Ratings: Strawberry mochinut: 3/10 for me (tasted very artificial. Not a big fan) 4/10 for my partner (agreed it was super artificial. Said it reminded him of bubblegum?) Matcha mochinut: 6/10 for me (tasted like matcha in my opinion. Just fine) 7/10 for my partner (didn't think it tasted like anything in particular.) Churro mochinut: 8.5/10 for my partner (Just like a churro) Smores mochinut: 8/10 for me (Im a big fan of chocolate. I liked it) Potato Mozzarella: 6/10 for my partner (Tasted kind of bland by itself. Very cheesy and crunchy) Rice dog: 7/10 for me (tasted like a corn dog) The ambiance: 9/10 for both of us. Very welcoming and clean. Overall experience: 7/10 food was okay, service was timely, vibe was great. Total price: $28

I ordered 12 Mochinut (Dozen) but we only receive 11 donuts

I ordered 12 donuts but we only receive 11 donut so what should we do? Cause we pay for 1 dozen

A quick fix for a sweet tooth. I hadn't tried mochi nuts before so I visited the store along Park Ave with a friend. The mochinuts were well baked and a little crunchy which gave them a wonderful texture. The flavor of the toppings was quite subtle so it wouldn't be the best choice if you have a sweet tooth like myself. The ambience was lovely though and the service was super fast! Extra points for the cute cushions!

Love that I don't have to drive all the way to Boston to get some delicious mochi donuts and Korean corn dogs. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Also like how there's a self check out area if you don't want to wait in line to order. Very spacious and good vibes if you want a place to hangout with friends. Will definitely come back and try the rest on the menu.

The underlying donut was somewhat firm (a minus) and cool to the touch (a minus)-- most likely refrigerated, as this was a late spring visit on a warm day. Bready, briochy taste to the donut, with no sweetness (neither plus nor minus), letting the toppings and fillings handle that. Plenty of yellow vanilla pudding inside (a plus for quantity). No seating inside (a minus) but a single metal table outside that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks (big minus). Filled with pollen. I do like the selection (big plus) and the crazy flavors will appeal to a wide range of tastes, but there are places where you can still get a fresh donut and sometimes even a warm one. Rocco's doesn't seem to be one of them. Not bad by any means but not screaming out for a revisit.

That's don't impress me much!…read more That's the feeling I have. Queens Cup has been on my list for about 3 years. I admit, I am weak for frosting so I figured this had to be a win for me. Good location, tough parking if you can't get in their small lot and good luck scoring a table (i think there were only 2!) But that's not the reason for disappointment. It's the product. Magic cookie bars are one of my favorite sweet treats so I had to buy one (at a high cost of $7!) It's heavy and dense but the flavor... the crust was inconsistent. Too thick and too think at points. The taste... it tastes like an M&M (with a slight hint of coconut.) I could have saved myself a lot of money just buying a bag of M&M's. But I don't like M&M's! See the problem? (And there were small M&M's on the top which is ok but it was overpowering.) I also had to try something cupcake related right? My daughter got a huge slice of funfetti cake. I had one layer of the cake. I can share the frosting was thick and dense. I like it sweet and melts in my mouth. Thus was not that. The cake itself was dense too. I was my cake fluffy. Overall I was let down and Queens Cup is off the return list.
