Very cute place with vegan friendly options! Staff are always kind and informative. I've had 3 of their vegan cupcake flavors and they were extremely rich and yummy. Will return seeing there aren't many vegan dessert options at most bakeries I've visited.
Loooveee this bakery! Their cupcakes are yummy but sometimes I like their other items more. One of my favorite items is always either sold out or wasn't made that day when I go- lil' Krissy's. They're delicious swiss rolls. I love their Nutella stuffed cookies, too. For Father's Day, we picked up a 4 pack of cupcakes & a cannoli brownie. Our favorite (surprisingly) was the cotton candy milkshake. I would have never expected it but the frosting wasn't too sweet & the inside had marshmallow. It was so good! The PB Stout brownie was good, too. But hands down the best thing was the cannoli brownie. The cannoli filling is perfect and their brownies are amazing. I'm usually not a huge fan of bakery brownies but these are near perfect. It was very rich though so I'd recommend splitting it or saving half for later. They post their daily menu on Instagram which I find super helpful. The store itself is super cute but the parking can be tricky sometimes since it's in a busy area. There's a small lot for the bakery itself but it fills up quickly. Otherwise there's street parking but that can be tough to find on weekends. I love bringing my out of state friends here, too. They always love it!

From wedding cakes, to birthday cakes, to just because treats- the care is always incredible and the final touches speak volumes to the detail they add to all their goodies. I also have never had difficulty finding seating or parking at TQC, hence why I keep going back ;). Definitely add this place to your list, especially your return list. You will not regret it :). Snowy day in Worcester, stumbled into this cute cupcake/pastry place. Was closing early due to the snow. so got a deal everything half price. I got a dozen cupcakes and a cherri cheesecake. The cupcakes were so good just the right balance of frosting to cake. My husband was also impressed stating how fresh and tasty they were. Will be making the drive again maybe in better weather. lol
This was such a cute little bakery. I'm a sucker for cupcakes and had to try it! I enjoyed the cotton candy milkshake one the most. It was beautifully decorated with pastel colors and a cute little straw to resemble a milkshake. Personally, the funfetti sugar cookie cupcake wasn't my favorite, the cookie dough ball inside the cupcake made it a bit hard to eat. I had to make room for the strawberry shortcake macaron--very delicious! I also loved how they had pupcakes to purchase for your dogs, such a cute idea! The parking lot is very small here. Unless you're coming in during a less busy day, it might be difficult to park, but there is street parking nearby.
Everything is delicious. Cannoli cookies, PB brownies, cupcakes, specials all the time. The perfect spot to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Not sure why Yelp marked this location was close. I can assure that they are open for business. Just left their location moments ago. They do have limited hours though so worth calling in to make sure they're open. Looks like they also rearranged their location a bit so there's more space to social distance if needed. If you try anything here, let it be the gluten free cupcakes! As you walk into the store, the sweet, warm aroma of freshly baked pastries welcomes you with the kitchen door always open and perfectly positioned beside the entrance. The glass case is a cake lover's delight with a lot of options. I found the normal cupcakes to be slightly dry but the gluten free options are always dense with the chocolate flavored ones having the most distinct flavor! I try a cupcake a week and it's been good so far! Shoutout to the friendly two ladies at the counter!
We finally returned here again! We ate dinner next door at Maddi's and stopped in to grab a dessert. I had the cherry cheesecake that was delicious and I got my mom the margarita cupcake which she said was also delicious.

My favorite is the fluffernutter cookie but they change their menu daily so make sure to check their instagram or website if you're looking for something specific.
I looked at their Facebook page and everything sounded good. They have so many unique flavors to choose from such as banana walnut pancake, cookie dough crunch, Jameson & ginger, and lookin' like a snack. I decided on the pineapple coconut, summer berry lemonade, and chocolate because I mean, why not. What struck me initially were the decorations on top, which were rather elaborate. When I bit in to them, I was hoping for soft cake and for the most part, that's what I got, well at least for the chocolate cupcake. The chocolate was excellent - chocolate frosting, chocolate candy, and wonderfully moist chocolate cake. I thought that the pineapple coconut was just ok and the summer berry lemonade was quite dry, which made it difficult to eat. My primary issue with this place is that it seems that all of the cupcakes are filled. As one who doesn't like oozing icing or creams in the middle of my desserts, this was disappointing. I was hoping that at least one cupcake wouldn't be filled but nope, all of them were. Perhaps they use the filling for moistness of the cake and if so, it doesn't work. For this reason, I likely wouldn't seek this place out for cupcakes when I'm back in the city despite the fact that my husband has ordered dozens and dozens from them for events. This just isn't my kinda place.
Always excellent. Every time I visit this place, every flavor I try, I am surprised every time at how good these cupcakes are. They never fail to absolutely satisfy. I am usually disappointed by cupcakes everywhere else. This place is always good. The S'mores cupcakes was my daughter's favorite. My wife loved her PB Cap cupcake. I tasted the Reverse Cannoli and Dream Cone. Both were excellent. Not sure which was the best, they were all so good.
Updating my old review because I found a new favorite cupcake! 3.5/5 Pros: -Clean, airy, modern space - great for Instagram photos -Super creative cupcake flavors and baked creations which change daily (and potentially HOURLY)--menu posted @thequeenscups on Instagram -Cupcakes are beautiful! TQC really shines in the decorations. -Live music on Thursday nights Cons: -Flavors advertised on Instagram are sometimes not in the case and you need to ask for them from the back -Seems like day-old cupcakes are sold at the same price based on the fact that flavors listed on Instagram the day before are sometimes still in the case the next day--it would be nice if they were half off -Some desserts/frostings just taste like sugar (get the cannoli or ganache frosting instead of buttercream or cheesecake) -Cupcake cake is not very strong (with exception of Pumpkin--highly recommend! Avoid chocolate) --toppings/fillings carry them -- Blackberry Lemonade Cupcake Vanilla cupcake filled with lemon AND blackberry curd/jam, topped with blackberry(?) buttercream. By far my favorite cupcake from TQC because the tartness of the fruit balanced the sweetness in the icing. Highly recommend! Chocolate Caramel Cannoli Cupcake Chocolate cake filled with cannoli cream and topped with cannoli cream, caramel, and mini chocolate chips. The chocolate cake is somewhere between dry and moist but the cannoli cream was great--not too sweet which provided some needed balance--and the caramel really came through. This was easily our favorite of the bunch and we'd definitely get it again! Cookie Dough Crumb Cake Cupcake Funfetti cake filled with a cookie dough ball, topped with chocolate buttercream and another cookie dough ball. The funfetti cake tasted similar to a boxed mix but a bit more buttery. The frosting was too cold to cut into easily, as were the cookie dough filling and topping. The cookie dough texture was decent but it just tasted like sugar and there were a few m&ms inexplicably mixed in with the chocolate chips. The chocolate buttercream frosting was typical buttercreamy sugar overload. Strawberry Dippin Dots Vanilla cupcake with absurdly sweet buttercream icing, topped and filled with strawberry Dippin Dots. The icing on this cupcake was the sweetest I've had from TQC--definitely overkill. Though the texture of the dots was nice, since there was no cream inside (just dots), the cupcake was even more dry than usual. I wouldn't recommend this, though my family enjoyed it. Matilda Cake Two layer chocolate cake filled and topped with chocolate ganache. Easily feeds 2-3 people. This cake was richer than the chocolate cupcakes, but not as fudgy as we were expecting based on the description. Probably a good thing because it wasn't sickeningly sweet. Our second favorite item. I wish they made these in cupcake sized portions because I'd order again if so! Pumpkin Whoopie Pie Ginger/cinnamon whipped cream frosting in between two fluffy pumpkin cakes. The cake was more moist than the cupcakes and tasted more like pumpkin gingerbread. I'm not a fan of whipped cream frosting, but the cake portion of these was pretty good. Brownie ($3.45) Super thick and fudgy brownie topped with chocolate icing. Loved the fudgy texture, but it just tasted buttery/sugary. A bit oily as well--the frosting kept separating from the brownie. -- Would go back for cupcakes with cannoli or ganache toppings, but skip anything with buttercream, whipped cream, cheesecake, or cookie dough. Hoping they have donuts next time I'm in town!

That's don't impress me much! That's the feeling I have. Queens Cup has been on my list for about 3 years. I admit, I am weak for frosting so I figured this had to be a win for me. Good location, tough parking if you can't get in their small lot and good luck scoring a table (i think there were only 2!) But that's not the reason for disappointment. It's the product. Magic cookie bars are one of my favorite sweet treats so I had to buy one (at a high cost of $7!) It's heavy and dense but the flavor... the crust was inconsistent. Too thick and too think at points. The taste... it tastes like an M&M (with a slight hint of coconut.) I could have saved myself a lot of money just buying a bag of M&M's. But I don't like M&M's! See the problem? (And there were small M&M's on the top which is ok but it was overpowering.) I also had to try something cupcake related right? My daughter got a huge slice of funfetti cake. I had one layer of the cake. I can share the frosting was thick and dense. I like it sweet and melts in my mouth. Thus was not that. The cake itself was dense too. I was my cake fluffy. Overall I was let down and Queens Cup is off the return list. read more

Updating my review to reflect the continued lack of gluten-free offerings. And the few offerings available are usually also vegan. Since they've redesigned the space (years ago at this point), I have not been thrilled with a visit here. It's not bad, but I will no longer go out of my way to go here. read more

I used to get these cupcakes weekly when I was a college student 7+ years ago. I happened to be in the area and decided to visit after many years. The quality has stayed the same, the cupcakes are moist and perfectly balanced both inside and outside, and I couldn't resist but get a set of 6 cupcakes. You won't be disappointed if you are in the area and want something to satisfy your sweet tooth! read more
This is a lovely cupcake shop with so many delicious options. I had the pleasure of trying the Strawberry Lemonade cupcake. Not only are their cupcakes beautiful, but they taste absolutely delightful! Often times, cupcake frosting is way too sweet. This was not the case here. The frosting was just right and sprinkled with sugar crystals for a nice touch. Highly recommend you trying out the cupcakes here! read more

I have heard many great things about the Queen's Cups and was excited I was able to finally try it! The flavors vary so if you're interested in looking at the flavors ahead of time, try calling them! I had the purple cow, oreo tiramisu, cookies and cream, and a coconut caramel cupcake. All were fantastic! I would have thought the cupcakes would have been too sweet but they were a perfect balance of sweet and flavorful. They have a small lot and there's a lot of street parking. read more

Covid update: still a huge fan! The cupcake place closed next to Volturnos, and this is a very close alternative, MUST GO for dessert. Today, even near close, they offered gluten-free Vegan cupcakes (not for me!) much to the delight of the person in line ahead of us. We had the Black Forest and hostess something cupcake, and there is something yummy called a Matilda waiting for later. There is just enough fill your appetite for something sweet without feeling guilty. read more
When you walk into the Queen's Cups, you will be struck by just how many delicious looking pastry choices are everywhere. You will see cupcakes, cookies, cakes (8 sizes available), brownies, cookie dough cones, whoopee pies, cake balls, cake pops, rice krispie treats, cannoli cookie sandwiches, trifle cups, Matilda cakes (chocolate cake drenched in chocolate ganache) , cookies and cookie sandwiches and cinnamon rolls. They are lovely little works of art with splashes of color and design. They even have pupcakes for your pooch! I asked one of the three super personable sales folks which one she liked best, and she pointed to a hypnotic looking cupcake full of brown and tan swirls. Well, that clinched it for us. The cupcakes ran $3.50 each and they were worth it. The Maple Bacon Cannoli Cupcake was topped with quite a lot of crispy candied bacon bits. The cake and frosting were dense and sweet. The Peanut Butter and Chocolate cupcake was the decadent winner of the two. Insanely intense in flavor, and just plain terrific. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Queen's Cups. I bet you will too. read more
$20 for 3 cupcakes, 1 cookie, and a bar? Not bad pricing at all.. They have parking in front and behind the shop which is a huge plus considering this is on a busy street with limited street parking. Although this is super small, they have a 2 doors so people can enter and exit. (I wish this was clear) This place is actually pretty small. I wish there was a clear line. Maybe get ropes or something to make the line flow better? Everyone was confused where the line started. The display is really small. I feel like it's really overwhelming considering everything looks cluttered into one small display. Also I think it's really unhygienic that they lay some goodies on top of the display as it's so easy for customers to reach and touch it without paying first. Also anyone can sneeze or cough right onto them... actually never mind sneezing, so many people breath on it!!!! The magic bar is awfully sweet and tastes like straight up sugar. The snickers cupcake was eh. The only thing that has favor was the frosting. The frosting looked like a glop, see attached picture. The frosting and the cupcake didn't stick to each other. The Oreo s'mores was really sweet. The breakfast for champions was not good at all... the only one that I really enjoyed was the Nutella cookie!!! Mmmm soo good and full of flavor. Overall, good presentation but the quality isn't there. I will stick to Georgetown cupcakes or my local bakery. read more

I've been meaning to get to The Queen's Cups for a while now, and finally made it today. Such a cute little local gem! It's hard to believe the building used to be a service station... they did a great job with the remodel! The atmosphere has a rustic hipster vibe (think Fixer Upper), and it was warm inside despite the cold day. We chose 6 cupcakes to go for approx $20. There were many flavors still to choose from, even with the shop closing within the hour. They had traditional flavors (red velvet, vanilla bean, peanut butter cup) and more unique flavors (hot cocoa, orange creamsicle, Boston cream). The cupcakes were good, but mildly dry which is why I didn't give 5 stars. Regardless, I believe this just became my favorite cupcake joint in Worcester, and I've hit them all! read more
I haven't been to this shop before but a friend brought some of her cupcakes to work and I had to comment. I am not one to like sweets, chocolates, or baked goods. These were phenomenal. My coworkers and I had a cupcake tasting and every single cupcake took me by surprise. I wish I lived closer!! I would probably go here often. read more

If you're from near, in, or around Worcester, you already know and love the Queen's Cups. I've purchased many cupcakes from them since they were over in Millbury and it was a great experience then and has only improved (not that it needed to) since that time. Recently, I placed my first custom order and I was extremely helpful pleased with the ease of the process, the friendliness of the staff, and the helpfulness of the creative process. We were so happy with our Virginia Tech tailgate birthday party themed order! Best part of this 5 star review? I literally don't even like cake, but I would go back over and over again. My 30th Birthday cake was beautiful thanks to The Queens Cups! It was a special kind of cake that they hadn't had the chance to make yet, being their first I would say it was amazing and will only get better I'm sure! Also the cupcakes are to die for!!! read more
