Good food ! But very limited hours and pricy! The young staff is nice ! Not my first choice ! read more

I ordered a last minute cake and it was gorgeous. Exactly what I had in mind, and it tasted great! The only thing I wish had been different is the texture of the buttercream icing, as it was like biting into actual butter lol, but it still tasted really good! read more

When I contacted Elena 2 weeks before my wedding I was pretty convinced that I was out of luck and wasn't going to have a cake for my wedding- however she was so calm and told me, okay no worries we've got this! She made the perfect cake for us and it perfectly matched the rest of the decor! We had so much left over cake and it was truly so delicious!! Elena, thank you so much for helping me in such short notice with a wedding cake! read more

I came across their apple cider donuts at a stand set up on Barre town common during some craft fair. I could not believe how good they were. I told the owner, Elena, that I was recently in Italy and Paris and had some incredible pastries, and her donuts are worthy of a Michelin star. I've made apple cider donuts from an old Yankee magazine recipe, and they were terrific, but these are on a level almost beyond comprehension. I cannot wait to try Elena's other offerings, as I know they will bring a tear to my eye. read more

Great pastries. I've been here a few times to grab a snack and on a few occasions ended up going back to the counter to get more or try more items. Staff seems nice, owner seems creative with the treats. If you like sweets of the flour, butter and real sugar variety, chances are pretty good that you can find quite a few things here to enjoy. If you are trying to watch your weight, don't go there, it really is tempting to keep eating more. read more

Owner is extremely talented. We've tried many things from donuts to cookies to macaroons over the years and have always enjoyed everything. Highly recommended! read more

This place is amazing! Just moved to Rutland and it really elevates the cake, goodies and pastry game in town. Went on opening day with family and kids. Coffee was awesome! Skip Dunkin next door and get a good cup and support a local business? Yes please! Kids got a mix of pastry goodies and didn't leave a crumb. It was super clean and the pictures of specialty cakes blew me away. Very excited to have this place in town! read more

I am so glad I went with Baked for my moms 50th birthday and brother-in-law's graduation party! The cakes looked great and tasted even better! They offer so many different combinations/options for the flavor of your cake. I have so much confidence that they can do any type of cake I need. Elena was so responsive and helpful when emailing with me about the details of the cakes requested. One of the cakes I got we did a vanilla cake with strawberry filling and coconut buttercream, and my boyfriend picked it up for me and immediately called me to say "this is the best smelling cake ever and it looks incredible". The cakes were a hit at both party's and everyone wanted to know where I ordered them from. Needless to say, this will be my new go-to bakery for any cake or treat needs. read more

After a last minute order last year that turned out spectacular, we ordered another birthday cake this year (and many family orders in between). But that is saying things lightly. I live in Boston and have very high expectations (not to sound like a snob, but I am). Elena is a diamond in the rough (not to call Rutland a rough, but you get it) She is a top notch chef making gems in a small town. This years cake outdid it all, it was the most beautiful, but also best tasting cake I have ever had. The frosting was perfect, not too sweet. The cake was extremely perfect chocolate, and throughout was the more amazing perfectly consistent raspberry heaven. When other bakers near me said they were too nervous to make black frosting or gold would get everywhere, Elena created perfection that did not cause any issues with smearing or face decorating. It was a magical cake and the highlight of the party. Cheers! Here are pictures of last year and this years cake. read more

Elena and her team at Baked are great! We ordered our wedding cake through them for our reception and it was exceptional. The decor was simple just like I wanted and the cake was amazing! We had chocolate cake with strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream and lemon cake with raspberry filling and lemon buttercream in different layers. So moist and so flavorful and everything was so fresh! She was so great through the whole process with design and follow up I highly recommend. We found her at a small bridal expo and we are so glad we did! read more

Baked made the cake for my daughter's wedding. Three layers of goodness! Elena is very accommodating! We did a tasting and I knew immediately this is the place for us. The cake had 3 layers: choc/caramel; choc/canolli; white/raspberry. All very delicious! Her prices are fabulous and she makes all of her own fillings (which many bakeries don't do these days). She was willing to travel from Holden to Stow, drop off and set up the cake too! Definitely look into Baked! You won't regret it! read more

We got our wedding cake from Baked, it was delicious and affordable! Can't recommend enough!

Went to go get food and was not aware that we must order beforehand. The woman was not necessarily rude, but not necessarily kind. Most of the things they have on their menu, they don't ACTUALLY have. Forgot my moms avocado toast. Was not totally satisfied. read more

I've been a customer of Elena's and her bakery, Baked, for several years now. A couple of years ago she did the cake pops for our wedding, and they were AMAZING! Such a huge hit, everyone kept asking us where they could get some of their own. Over the years, I've stopped in to pick up baked goods like pastries and muffins and they are always delicious. Her coffee is very good too and her acai bowls are incredible! We've also enjoyed her donuts and other treats like cookies and cannolis at holiday gatherings as well, and it's always a treat. Baked is centrally located in Rutland--very easy to get to with good parking! Elena herself is so kind and willing to help create the perfect baked good for you, for any special event in your life. Highly recommend! read more
